"Good hotel for 2 nights in Naples. The location is close to Napoli Centrale train station and close to some of the main shops and restaurants. However, the location outside the hotel is dirty and loud, with litter and rubbish all over the street. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and I felt looked after. The room itself is basic but perfectly fine for a few nights. The bed was comfy, however more pillows were needed! The shower is powerful but it takes a minute to warm up. For the price I paid, I was happy with the facilities and service."

"A great hotel located on the upper floors of the station building. You can take the subway or the suburbs. A large room with comfortable beds and a sleigh. It's all right. Breakfast is delicious, though not so diverse. You won't stay hungry. Coffee is cooked for you in the bar and the waiters are brought. The staff is also very friendly. "I think this is the best accommodation in Naples! It's a new hotel-hostel, very stylish and beautiful. We even got a welcome drink. The room was cozy with a view. The common areas are really cool, with a gym, billiards, and a cinema. The hotel even has its own app where you can manage and book activities. The staff at the front desk are always helpful and ready to assist. It's conveniently located right next to the train station, just a 5-minute walk. It's also a quick 15-minute taxi ride to the airport. I definitely recommend it!"

"About the location: The location is a bit difficult due to conflicting views. It is a little deductible because it is far from Naples Central Station. However, I chose this hotel because it was said that the area around Naples Central Station was not safe. So it may be said that the neighborhood of Naples Central Station where security is bad is a demerit point. The opposite is close to the ferry terminal. Even if you carry a heavy suitcase, you can reach the ticket office in about 5 minutes. It was a ferry transfer when I left the hotel here, so considering that convenience alone, the highest rating is good. Regarding cleanliness, this hotel didn't have the smelly electric kettle problem that I had during my trip to Europe. As a Japanese, this is a matter of course, but I was moved. Besides that, the cleaning was perfect, and whether it was a new hotel, there was no part that was damaged or felt old. Regarding the service, various explanations were given at check-in, but I couldn't understand it in English, so I went to ask the same thing again and asked for an explanation of the ferry ticket office, but everything was done with a smile and the translator didn't bother me. , and he taught me carefully until I could understand. Furthermore, after checking out, I misread the ferry time for 2 hours, and when I negotiated to wait in the hotel lobby again, it was OK without any problems. I was very unwell on that day, so I was very grateful. As for the facilities, although there were no toothbrushes or things that were already incorporated, they were generally complete, the room was spacious, and there were many shelves, so it was very convenient to use."

"The hotel is very close to the historic centre, Santa Lucia, the Duomo, via Toledo, the Maschio Angioino, the Square of Plebiscito. The road on which it faces is trafficked but the windows are well soundproofed. The rooms are a little small and above all, if they give the sideways, they force to keep the tents closed. The tents are heavy and make the room dark. The bathroom is small even if well-prepared. The air conditioning works very well. Breakfast is served on the roof in the summer, where you can take a 'on demand' equal. Breakfast is discreet but not worth a 4 stars. The location near the station can be a little rough but it wasn’t a problem for me but maybe I won’t recommended it for inexperienced travellers. Overall still good value for money"

"We recently stayed at the Hotel Royal Continental in Naples from January 7 to January 9, 2025, and our overall experience was very positive. Location & Safety The hotel is located in one of the safest and most touristic areas of Naples, right on Via Partenope, facing the sea and Castel dell'Ovo. Naples, as a city, is still evolving into a true tourist destination. The city is making significant improvements to attract more visitors, and you can feel that transition happening. This particular area where the hotel is located feels very safe, thanks to continuous police presence. We saw officers patrolling on foot and by car at all hours of the day and night, which gave us peace of mind. The neighborhood is also filled with excellent restaurants offering a wide range of quality food at reasonable prices. Of course, not every place is great, but there are many good options within walking distance. Additionally, the historic center and most major tourist attractions are within walking distance from the hotel. You can take a leisurely stroll and reach the main sights in under an hour. Room & Comfort The seafront location of the hotel is outstanding. The view from our room was beautiful, and we loved opening the panoramic window to let in the fresh sea breeze in the morning and evening. It’s a wonderful way to start and end your day. The room itself was comfortable and well-maintained, with a level of luxury comparable to a 4-star European hotel. However, it's important to note that European hotel standards are different from those in the U.S.. By American standards, this hotel would be closer to a 3-star property. Despite this, the housekeeping staff did a great job cleaning the room daily and replacing towels. Service & Atmosphere The hotel staff is professional and polite, but interactions felt a bit robotic and mechanical. It seemed like they were following routines rather than making genuine connections with guests. That said, room cleanliness was good, and we appreciated the attention to detail in that regard. One thing that stood out is the hotel’s nostalgic 1950s vibe. The hotel seems proud of its mid-century charm, which they promote through signs and advertisements around the property. If you enjoy that type of retro atmosphere, you’ll appreciate this hotel. Breakfast Experience The breakfast at the hotel was excellent. The dining room overlooks the sea, which makes for a lovely breakfast setting. There are several breakfast stations with a wide variety of options, and the food quality was great. Waiters clean the tables and take care of guests throughout breakfast service, which adds a nice touch. We were very satisfied with the overall breakfast experience. Final Thoughts Overall, Hotel Royal Continental is a solid choice for staying in Naples. The location is its biggest strength, offering stunning views, proximity to restaurants, and easy access to the historic center. it provides a comfortable and memorable experience with beautiful sea views and a nostalgic atmosphere.
