"The hotel's location is excellent; it's within walking distance of the train station and most city attractions, and there are some really great small restaurants nearby, which is very convenient. You can tell the hotel is new, with thoughtful bilingual signs everywhere. The self check-in and check-out process is also very reasonable. The front desk is integrated with the bar and is open 24 hours. The staff there spoke the best English I encountered during my entire trip to Italy."

"My partner and I recently had a fantastic stay at The Cross Hotel, a lovely spot for a couple's getaway. We agree wholeheartedly with the 5/5 ratings across the board—our experience was exceptional! The location and service were truly top-notch. The staff members were attentive, professional, and genuinely warm, ensuring every need was met instantly and making us feel welcome. The facilities and cleanliness are beautiful. Our room was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and well-designed, providing a perfect retreat for our trip. Our only minor suggestions would be improving the soundproofing, as we could occasionally hear conversations and noise from the hallway, and perhaps checking the AC unit, which sometimes emitted an unusual odor when first turned on. Despite those very small issues, we highly recommend The Cross Hotel and are already planning our next trip back!"

"Excellent Location with lots of shops around. Roma Termini is just around the corner. Buses in front of the Hotel. All the attractions are 20/30 min walking distance. Vatican was bearby too. Breakfast had good choices with fresh fruits and Fresh Real Honey. Staff was helpful. All over it was a good choice with reasonable price. Will recommend to friends and family."

"The hotel’s location is excellent—only a 7-minute walk from the train station, and most of Rome’s must-see sights are within about 20 minutes. If you want to stay in the center of everything, this place is a great choice. However, the service was a nightmare. The elevator is almost a joke: maximum 2 people, extremely slow (luckily my room was on the 2nd floor). Maybe it’s cultural differences, but the staff here were the rudest I’ve ever experienced. My flight from Nice to Rome was canceled, which meant I lost a night at the Hive. I called to ask for help canceling that night—it wasn’t my fault for not showing up—but both Trip.com and the hotel staff were completely unhelpful. Very disappointing and frustrating. My room was close to construction, non-stop noise over the night. Bottom line: the location is great, but don’t expect any favors or kindness from the hotel. When you’re already stressed, their cold and unfriendly attitude will only make things worse."

We had a twin room, and the beds could be pushed together to form a comfortable 1.8-meter-wide sleeping area. The mattress firmness was just right – neither too soft nor too hard – and the room was spotlessly clean and tidy. We arrived around 11 AM and were initially informed that rooms wouldn't be ready until the official 3 PM check-in time, as many Korean guests were still checking out. However, after we explained to the front desk that we had just landed after a long flight and needed to shower and rest before heading out for sightseeing, they impressively managed to find a room for us. We were incredibly grateful for their understanding and quick action. **What I disliked:** The room itself was quite small, and the shower cubicle was particularly tiny. My main complaint, however, is regarding the service. We stayed for three consecutive nights, and not once was the complimentary bottled water in the mini-bar replenished. After calling the front desk two days in a row to request it, a staff member (who appeared to be of South Asian descent) finally delivered the water, but with a visibly impatient and annoyed demeanor. This was a really uncomfortable and disappointing experience. **Overall Impression:** Honestly, despite a few positives, the hotel felt much like a typical budget chain (similar to a '7 Days Inn' in China), and it certainly wasn't cheap either. I'm truly puzzled as to how it has achieved such a high 4.9-star rating."

"I had a great experience at this hotel! The service was very friendly, attentive, and always prompt to assist whenever I needed anything. The hotel facilities were excellent—my room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, providing me with a comfortable and relaxing stay. The amenities like the pool and gym were a nice bonus, clean and well-maintained. I particularly enjoyed the food; the breakfast had a good selection and everything tasted fresh and delicious, although slightly more variety in dishes would have made it perfect. "The hotel is definitely worth recommending, perfectly located in the very center of historic Rome, which will be appreciated by both tourists and business guests. The quality of service is at the highest level. From the moment you enter, you get the impression that the staff cares about making your stay really comfortable. In doing so, staff make every effort to ensure that all guests are remembered and their needs are met. I appreciated the fact that, despite the full occupancy, we not only managed to get a room earlier than the originally declared time, but also agreed (without additional fees) to leave it an hour later. As for the food, maybe the lack of a buffet is a bit inconvenient, but this can be explained by the fact that it would be difficult to fit it in the hotel restaurant, so the food is delivered to the tables. However, guests can eat as much as they want, and the selection of dishes is really satisfactory - each breakfast always includes one hot dish. The roof terrace is very atmospheric, where you can both eat and have a drink. The rooms may not be large, but they are completely sufficient. It is modern and clean. Definitely a recommendable hotel, well located in the center of historic Rome, which tourists and business travelers will appreciate. The quality of service is of the highest standard. When you enter, you get the impression that the staff are committed to making your stay enjoyable. To this end, the staff go to great lengths to ensure that all guests are remembered and their needs are met. I appreciated the fact that, despite the hotel being fully booked, not only was it possible to get a room earlier than the time originally stated, but it was also agreed (at no extra charge) that we could leave an hour later.
