Ishigaki Hotels with Bars

"The breakfast offered a wide variety of good quality options, and even on weekdays, the hotel had a high occupancy rate. The staff were very friendly; I was particularly touched when the gentleman responsible for cleaning in the morning bowed to me in a traditional Japanese greeting. We booked sea view rooms through Trip.com, and my friend and I each made separate bookings. It turned out the room types were slightly different, with one being much closer to the sea, which led to a bit of a disagreement with the front desk. Luckily, we speak Japanese, and the hotel eventually made a compromise, for which I'm grateful! I hope Trip.com can be more accurate when describing room types during the booking process to avoid such unnecessary hassle. The hotel is right by the sea, and the water is clear, but it's a shame there's no sandy beach, which was a bit disappointing. The rooms are also on the smaller side."

"Good location, the yard is the pier and the airport bus. There is also a bus terminal behind the hotel to other locations. There are also many restaurants nearby. There is a platform on the rooftop to watch the harbor. Breakfast is a Japanese rice ball with juice and coffee. Very good hotel"

"Very convenient as there’s bus stop just outside the main entrance. Can go to airport, pier & other places easily. Many different restaurants outside the hotel. Lobby is big. All staff is very helpful & friendly although English is not so good. The free welcome tea in the afternoon is tasty. Room is big & sea view is good. Free hot bath/spring is good that can release the tiredness after activity. Breakfast & beef BBQ buffet is good & valuable. But surprisingly, the swimming pool seems not free & small. Anyway no time to use. Conclusively, we like this hotel & valuable in low season."

"Compared to other hotels in Ishigaki, this one is genuinely clean, and I didn't encounter any mosquitoes or bugs (which I did at a previous stay near Kabira Bay). The location is excellent; it's convenient for driving anywhere. It only takes about 10 minutes to get to the city center for izakaya and late-night snacks. The facilities are quite good, with a large public bath, a private beach, and a spacious pool. If you're interested in booking local tours, they also have a counter to assist you."

"✨ Highlights: • The room experience exceeded our expectations! The Coral Wing Selection Room was incredibly spacious, featuring an entryway and a separate bathroom. The two bunk beds were also very wide. Even though it's the Coral Wing, we still had a stunning ocean view with a fantastic panorama. The room facilities were new, and the toiletries were Byredo, which smelled wonderful. • The breakfast was tasty, and the hotel's location was a huge plus: very close to the airport, easy to get a taxi, and within walking distance to Don Quijote and nearby restaurants, making shopping and dining very convenient. • The hygiene and hardware facilities were well-maintained, and public facilities like the pool were excellent. It's a shame we only stayed one night and didn't get to experience them. ⚠️ Areas for Improvement: • The front desk service wasn't very welcoming; there was no guidance at all during check-in. The hotel itself is like a big maze, and it took us over half an hour to find our room, which detracted from the overall experience. • Upon check-out, we were charged an additional resort fee of about 50 RMB per person. While not a large amount, it would be better if it were included directly in the room rate. Paying in two separate installments felt a bit odd. • Some public facilities in the Coral Wing were slightly dated, a bit of a contrast to the brand-new feel of the guest rooms. Overall, the room itself, the location, and the environment were all excellent and up to InterContinental standards. If they could improve service details and check-in guidance, the experience would be much better. It's a good choice for a short, transitional one-night stay."

"The fire alarm went off for over 30 minutes in the early morning. Hotel staff didn't come out until about 10 minutes later and offered no official explanation. They only spoke in Japanese to the people who had evacuated outside, and then simply said ”no fire” in English. The next day, there was still no announcement, and the staff's handling of the situation was very disappointing. The pool had a lot of leaves and debris floating in it, and cleaning only happened much later. There were no staff members at the pool, so I couldn't ask for towels or request a cleaning. The service really fell short compared to the facilities."

"Fuku-chan, Nicole and ２ cats, algae balls and boiled beans were gently welcomed, and the number of days of stay passed in no time. It is a very satisfying inn and recommended to everyone. The interior and exterior are very nice. I feel like 〜 I came to the resort. I used the parking lot for renting a car. The living room is clean and comfortable. The bed futon was very fluffy and I could sleep well. The area is very convenient location if you have a car rental. It is very close to Fusaki Beach and you can walk to the beach (passing the main building of Fusaki Beach Resort, especially no procedures). I had breakfast. The dishes that are particular about each ingredient and seasoning will heal your mind and body. We have never experienced it, but we can receive healing treatments and Yoga. It is an inn that I want to visit again."

"It was so helpful that they offered free pick-up and drop-off. I contacted them in advance, and they came to pick me up right after I got my luggage on the day of arrival, which was great. The guesthouse is about a 5-minute walk down the hill to Fusaki Beach. To get to Mirumiru Honpo Main Store, it's about a 12-minute walk up the hill. The view from Mirumiru Honpo is recommended, but it's a gravel path, so good shoes might be a better idea. The accommodation is equipped for self-catering, with a microwave, a refrigerator with separate freezer and fridge compartments, and a washing machine, making it feel like a regular studio apartment. Detergent and fabric softener were also provided. If you don't plan on going out, it's best to bring your own groceries and water, as there are no convenience stores nearby. I brought my own. During a mix of cloudy and clear weather, it was like camping to be able to gaze at the starry sky at night. The Okinawan breakfast they prepared was seriously delicious. One minor drawback is that to access Fusaki Beach, you have to walk through the lobby of Fusaki Resort Hotel. It was a bit embarrassing to walk through such a fancy place in just my swimsuit. I'd definitely like to come back here, and I highly recommend it if you enjoy camping."

"This hotel is very new and clean and modern. The location is prime. Right across the street of the terminal. If you choose higher floor, you will enjoy the ocean view with clear view of the terminal and can even see the big cruise ship. Right next to the hotels are some shops and restaurants. The room itself is extremely spacious and plenty of space for your suitcase and clothes to hang around to dry. The breakfast is good. You can order as much as you can and it was very tasty. You can also store the luggage in the hotel to suit your day trips to the nearby island. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone but please be sure to book early as it runs out fast."

"Отличный отель, прекрасное красивое место! Очень очень милый персонал, ради этих людей вернусь снова, ребята! Единственное, сложность в транспорте, автобусы вечером уже не ходят в ту часть острова и нужно учитывать то, что магазины и ресторанчики не всегда работают! Совет, купите на первое время еду в магазине в аэропорту🙈🤣 Но это все мелочи, супер красивое природное место на острове, получили огромное удовольствие от проживания в этом чудесном месте! Спасибо!"
