Nara Hotels with Bars

"The hotel is actually not far from Shin-Omiya Station. If you're carrying a suitcase, just walk along the road by the railway. When you see a drainage ditch with cherry blossom trees, turn left, and you'll find the hotel. If you follow Google Maps along the main road, you'll be on a gravel path the whole way. The hotel is new and even provides toothbrushes and slippers for kids. It would be great if they had a shuttle service on weekdays as well. I hope to return during the autumn leaves season!"

"The scenery is beautiful, and the bed is more comfortable than expected. We booked a loft and two double rooms. The loft has a courtyard and a terrace bathtub, and the hot spring ends at 0 o'clock. There are a lot of tableware for dinner and breakfast, but they are too exquisite and I didn't eat enough. It's just average. The bathroom shower is also clean. The hotel provides kimonos for free. It's fun to wear kimonos and drink and chat in the room. There are Chinese waiters. If you bring your own wine, you will be charged a corkage fee of 2,000 yen/bottle. In the morning, after going down the mountain, you will see the deer park."

"Although it's a hotel on the outskirts, it's a quiet hotel with perfect restaurants and services inside. It's just too far from downtown."

"A question to think about, ‘What makes a hotel a luxury one?’ To me, it’s luxury because of the hospitality of the staff, quality of the property and the food they provided totally exceed travellers’ expectations, and as a result, we would love to pay more for the experience. Some staff really tried their very best to help me during my stay while some just didn’t. Upon arrival, I tried to communicate with the staff that I’d like to cancel my third night’s dinner because of the change of my plan. At first, I booked six meals in total and I’d only want to cancel one dinner and they said I needed to pay 100% for the cancelled meal because they have already bought the ingredients. Okay, I tried to understand that because they had already taken away my credit card and there’s nothing I could do about that and I thought it must be a very nice meal and that’s why they insisted that. Disappointingly, the portion was so small and paying the same amount of money I could get so much better food in 虹夕諾雅 or any other five star onsen hotels in Japan. As a result, I went to bed feeling hungry and eating the snacks I bought for myself :( The food portions are like a bento instead of a proper meal. ) Also, the Western style breakfast was so overpriced and the avocado in the omelette was not fresh at all. One more thing to note is that the complimentary champagne service they provided to their guests. It’s a nice experience but maybe I’m just a lady travelling alone and I couldn’t speak Japanese at all, the waitress didn’t serve me the same way as she served other people in the cafe. When all of them got two glasses of free drinks, one cocktail and one champagne, she only gave me one champagne and didn’t offer me the cocktail. And the day after, there was a nice staff who served me properly and I finally realized that I am entitled to two drinks. (Sigh)The experience was like buying a Chanel bag. The bag was pricey but the chain of the bag just suddenly fall apart while you are using it for the very first time. My advice is: Don’t use their catering services especially for the in-room dining plan. There are so many better choices out there in the city. The room and the service of the staff are great tho."

"The first time I experienced a youth hostel, the bed type was the upper and lower bunks. I was lucky to be assigned to the upper bunks. After all, if I want to get out of bed, it will affect the lower bunks. The hotel staff is still kind, the part that excludes waiting in line for a bath and there is a distance from JR Nara. Others are not bad. After all, it is a youth travel. People who are afraid of noisy and need independent space think twice."

"This hotel offers excellent value for money. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-equipped, with attentive service from the lobby staff. The lobby manager who greeted us was a local from Nara. We initially communicated using translation software, but later discovered he also spoke Chinese; apparently, he had studied in Shanghai, China. This young man not only provided enthusiastic service but also recommended and booked seats at nearby izakayas for us. A big thumbs up! 👍"

"一泊二日3家族８人で利用したがとてもゆったりと利用出来てよかった。トイレも一階と2階の2ヶ所にあり困ることがなく使用できた。2階の4部屋にダブル(キング？)サイズのベッドが2台ずつあり、８人それぞれが贅沢に一台ずつ利用できて最高だった。寝具ぬななも心地よかった。パジャマの記載がなかったが作務衣風のものが用意してあった。ヘアアイロンはリファのものがカール用、ストレート用と 2台もあり嬉しかった。冷蔵庫にはミネラルウォーターが 4本、日本酒1合サイズが2本、同サイズの焼酎？が一本、炭酸ジュース2本あり、茶菓子の用意もあった。８人なのに7個しかお菓子がなかったのは残念だった。コーヒー、紅茶、お茶、砂糖あり。コーヒー用のミルクはない。コーヒーはカセットをセットするタイプのサーバー。他に電子レンジ、オーブントースター、湯沸かし器、炊飯器がある。台所には最低限のキッチンアイテムが揃っている。グラス類がプラスチック製でくもり傷があるのが少し気になった。手拭き用のタオルがあるとよかった。(洗面所にはあり) 台所続きの、リビングにゆったりとしたソファー、大画面のTV、Switchがある。使い捨てスリッパもタオル生地のふわふわ感がありきめちよかった。照明は間接的なものが多く、暗め。2階の各部屋にゴミ箱が欲しかった。浴室はサウナや水風呂専用の浴槽もあり、整うためのロッキングチェアも2台ある。シャワーも大浴場に二箇所、洗濯室のトイレ横にもう一箇所ガラス張りのシャワーブースがある。アメニティも充実している。お風呂で残念だった点が一つ、同時に水道を利用すると水圧が格段に悪くなる。サウナは大人３人が同時に入れる広さ。サウナマットも用意されている。　前日まで電話連絡がとれていたが、当日は全く繋がらず焦った。後で玄関に連絡専用のアイテムが木箱に入っていたが、このシステムはどうなんだろう。。 玄関にビニール傘の用意があったが人数分はなかった。けど、予想外の雨が降り助かった。ならまち界隈や東大寺など観光地にも徒歩圏内で立地は良いと思う。12時に荷物を預けることが出来て助かった。チェックインも同時に出来たら言うことなしでしたが…。電話での対応、清掃の方、みなさんお優しかったです。 総合的には大満足でした。あともう一泊したいくらいでした。"
