Specifically put a sign, to drink pipe water.
Normal space, need to close the bag after open, otherwise it blocks walkway. Sometimes put on chair, to open my bag.
Give extension cord! Very good! Because the plug is behind the TV, can't reach.
Wooden window as curtains to block sunlight, but, it leaks in. Cannot have a dark room to sleep during day times. But the wooden window looks cool."

"The transportation is incredibly convenient; you can take an elevator directly from the platform to the front desk, so there's no need to worry about wind or rain. Plus, there are plenty of convenience stores nearby.

"Absolutely blown away by this hotel! The design is stunning, and the views are just incredible – you can see deer, cherry blossoms, Mount Wakakusa, and the lake all from here. "We really loved the hotel. The service was excellent, and the room cleaning was perfect. If you’re interested, our room was very spacious with a gorgeous bathroom, fully stocked with all the toiletries and even pajamas. There was also a massage chair and every possible comfort — simply amazing. It’s about a 20-minute walk from the metro; maybe there are some bus routes, but we used the metro. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. Thank you so much!"

"Very clean. Staff speak both English and Japanese and are very friendly and helpful. The guesthouse is within walking distance of both Nara Station about 10 minutes and Nara Park about 10 minutes but in the other direction. Would definitely recommend a stay."

"The room was comfortable and clean. However, the first room I was given faced the street and was a bit noisy, which affected my sleep. After two nights, I asked the front desk staff to switch rooms. The staff member was very helpful and showed me the new room, for which I'm very grateful. I slept very well on the last night. The hotel is super close to Nara Station, making transportation incredibly convenient. I even walked to Nara Park."

"The location is great, the subway and bus stop are very close, just beside Nara Park. The hotel is also very new and the rooms are spacious. The owner is not more suitable for people who don't like socializing. The stay experience is great and will choose here next time."

"We had a good time at this place. Everything was very clean, the check-in was very easy and despite the thin walls (occasionally you could hear other guests use their door lock or the hotels neighbors coming home to their house) we had a good nights sleep. Would come again. Very spacious rooms compared to other Japanese hotel rooms. Bonus: there was a super clean and almost unused community kitchen with washingmachines and dryers."

"My trip to Japan was so enjoyable largely because of this hotel! I was initially worried about the two Superhotels, but this one was fantastic! It's right across from the JR station, and the staff at the front desk all speak Chinese, and I heard they also speak Korean, Japanese, and English—amazing! Communication was completely seamless. During check-in, they explained everything in detail, including pillows, pajamas, combs, shampoo, and more! The breakfast was delicious and very Japanese, and I noticed many Japanese people choose to stay here, which was really great. Nara Park is also within walking distance. Overall, I had a wonderful time. I've already recommended it to everyone I know, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Kansai—it's even cheaper than others! The rooms are small, but that seems to be a common problem with Japanese hotels."

MMin TeckAn absolute 10/10 stay in Nara City! Yamatonoyado KITAKYOBATE is a beautiful, 2-story property that is kept incredibly clean. The layout is perfect for families or groups, giving everyone plenty of room to relax. I was blown away by the number of amenities provided right in the room—they have thought of absolutely everything to make your stay comfortable. The location in kitakyobate-cho is peaceful yet convenient. Checking in was seamless, and the overall experience was flawless. Will definitely book this place again on my next trip to Japan!

The room was really nice and big size, very traditional.
The breakfast was good but I was expected more, but at the end it was ok.
The owner was kind but seemed a bit stressed about visitors.
I recommend to visit Hotobit but if you don’t have lot of luggage’s to carry because is a bit far away from the city center by walk also from any restaurant.
The good think is that is a 5 minutes by walk far from the bus stop.

Just a short bus ride from the hotel takes you directly to these Buddhist sanctuaries, which bear the indelible marks of Sino-Japanese cultural exchange.
Setting out from the hotel, the majestic grandeur of Toshodai-ji Temple is truly awe-inspiring. GGuest UserThis was one of my favorit stays in Japan , this place had gread value for money. Location was great close to shopping street pond and park. There was space to eat food and they provides all usual free stuff. Access through codes ,loved not having to carry any cards keys etc.

AAnonymous UserThe location of this hotel is amazing. It's within 15 minutes walk from Nara Park as well as several streets full of shops and restaurants. It's also only 5 minutes from the nara-kinetetsu station. The staff were incredibly friendly and the coffee shop is a nice place to sit. The only real negative was the fact that they use very tiny pillows - but they gave me an extra one when I asked and that pretty much solved the issue. Would stay here again if I returned to Nara.

GGuest UserThis hotel is exactly something what we expected to experience with a Japanese style room and hot spring. We chose Japanese style room which was spacious enough for 3 guests. Hotel fee already included Japanese dinner served inside room and breakfast (Japanese or American) served in their restaurant. Hot spring is available from 4pm-11pm, however, no morning session is available which a bit disappointed us. Hot spring area is not big, it is more enjoyable when there are only 2-3 guest in the pool.
Hotel location is good, only about 6 mins walk from Kintetsu Nara station. The only bad thing was NO elevator or escalator from the station up to ground floor exit. All other main tourist attractions are within walkable distance.

The room had a teapot, tea, plastic glasses (which is uncomfortable), a fan, a lingerie dryer, bathrooms, lots of towels. But on the layer floor where the bed is very dusty. All the windows and curtains are in dust. Appended a photo.

GGuest UserThe location is right in the shopping street and also at the Kintetsu exit, it is only 15 minutes to go to the park. The staff is warm and courteous, the hot springs are fine but quiet enough. The hotel is old but tidy, there is no daily necessities except old towels, including a blow dryer in the hot spring area, and there is nothing towels lock. Of course, this price can't be too much, remember this is a hotel. I was impressed by the invincible location and courteous staff, I can't say whether I like it or not.

GGuest UserFirst of all, the service staff is warm and thoughtful, and the attitude is amiable! Tell the precautions, the hotel is clean and hygienic, and the quilt is covered by yourself. The bathroom in the bath is particularly clean. Every guest is very conscious. Try to control yourself and not disturb others. It is really great!
