"Excellent location in the center of Mirissa. Good service, in the rooms, clean. On the first floor is tight. But, the question of money. Want more comfortable, take the luxury on the second. Excellent restaurant with first line prices. In the evening full landing as nowhere around. Staff responsive, respond quickly to requests. I definitely recommend."

"This hotel was in a very nice location. We had access to the beach right through the back of the hotel. Then, you are able to walk along and get to the main beach. The staff was helpful when the power in our room didn’t work. We were moved to a new room. Which turned out to be much better because the first room was infested with ants. Ants all over the toilet, sink, and on the floor along the walls. Great location, but make sure to check for ants. "

I especially loved their seafood dishes, which were prepared to perfection. Another great feature was the location. It’s close enough to Mirissa’s main attractions but far enough to avoid the hustle and bustle, giving you the best of both worlds."

"I had a wonderful stay at Randiya Sea View Hotel! The location is perfect—right by the sea with a stunning view, especially during sunrise and sunset. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and always ready to help, making us feel welcome from check-in to check-out. The hotel restaurant served delicious local dishes, and the breakfast spread was fresh and satisfying. What I loved most was the peaceful environment and the easy access to the beach. It’s a great spot for relaxing, especially after a day of exploring. I’d definitely recommend Randiya Sea View Hotel to anyone visiting the area and would love to come back again."

"There is a mini beach near the hotel, about 5 minutes walk, more than one kilometer to the main beach, or take a sudden car, the room is not small, you can really see the sea view, health, in a few days in Sri Lanka, I am used to it. Breakfast is fruit bread and the like. I go to eat around ten o'clock. I don't even have an omelette. I don't know if it is late, and many ants crawl on the dining table. It is a bit scary, and don't want to Coffee, really the most difficult coffee I have ever tried."

"The hotel is a five-story building. There are 17 rooms. Give a top-floor sea view family room, the scenery is super beautiful, overlooking the entire bay of the Meilusha cruise ship and fish boat. Some of the fourth floor is a small open-air swimming pool. Just under the window. Without an elevator, the customer service brother will help with the suitcase, and he will give 100 rupees. The bathroom design feels a little strange."

"My wife and I stayed here during our vacation in Sri Lanka, choosing it because of the high Google ratings. The location really impressed us. The hotel is literally a step away from the beach and less than five minutes’ walk to town, which made it very convenient. Sitting on the balcony overlooking the beach and listening to the waves was easily the best part of the stay. The lobby was simple but acceptable, and there is a seafood restaurant right next to the hotel. At check-in, there was a small hiccup. I booked through Trip.com, but they couldn’t find my booking at first. After about ten minutes, they managed to sort it out and confirmed that the booking came via Agoda. The receptionists were friendly and welcoming, even offering us a drink on arrival. Our room on the second floor had a great view of the sea. The shower had good water pressure, although the bathroom could use better ventilation. The toiletries seemed diluted, so we ended up using our own. Unfortunately, the air conditioning became a real problem. It leaked so badly that the room flooded twice, soaking my shoes. Despite my request for a pail to manage the water, they initially only gave floor mats, which was very frustrating. By the time they finally sent a pail, it was too late. We barely slept that night because of the constant dripping sound. Overall, the location and friendliness of the staff were strong points, but the poor handling of the air conditioning issue really spoiled our experience."

"The hotel is on one side of the road and on the other side of the beach. Sea view rooms are highly recommended. The road rooms are too noisy"

"Mirissa Gate is an excellent hotel with a fantastic team managing. Everyone was so nice, incredibly helpful and they felt more like family members by the end of the stay. Nothing was too much trouble. There were days we missed breakfast time and they still made us a huge buffet breakfast! They organised our trips we wanted to do and they even upgraded our room for free, for no reason. It was just avaliable! Out of all the places we stayed in Sri Lanka, this was our favourite. It is right on the beach and not far from the famous mirissa beach which is either a 20 minute walk or a 5 minute tuk tuk ride, which the hotel help organised too. Loved our stay and would highly recommend. "
