"We chose this place by reviews and for its location. When we arrived we had to sign an agreement with the property rules which are in abundance: from “no outside food or drinks at the property” to fines for stained towels and sheets. Though there are “shhh” signs everywhere I woke up both mornings of our stay because someone was walking and talking loudly right outside our door. The room is really small close to tiny, there’s no fridge (ok, that’s the type of room without one), the safe didn’t work but the friendly and helpful staff kindly stored our valuables in theirs. The place is beautifully located and the food is ok."

"Let's go in order) Pros: + Incredibly polite staff and owner. Helped organize excursions, order a taxi and resolve any issues, provided a transfer from the hotel, brought everything you need before your vacation. Even helped buy a ferry ticket in advance! Simply perfect staff, I have never seen such service in any hotel)) + You can always call reception from the hotel, and you can easily catch any in the city back + The beach is 5 steps away, especially if you take a room on the 1st floor with a sea view, you can walk barefoot from your room to the beach in a few steps + We only saw one or two couples occasionally from the guests and that's it, as if the hotel was just for us Cons: - [ ] I would like sun loungers on the beach and by the pool, where you can lie down (with an umbrella). Now they provide beach chairs, but you can't sit on them for long, and in principle, if you take a room not on the 1st floor with a sea view, you can only sit on beach chairs on the hotel grounds (upon request). This also needs to be improved) - [ ] The room is new, everything is nice, new, but there was no refrigerator, safe, wardrobe. Despite the fact that there is enough space in the room for all these amenities) - [ ] Breakfast is not a buffet, only 3 types, scrambled eggs with bacon, beef and pork. In principle, we are not picky, it is enough for us, but those who stay here for a longer time will go crazy from such a choice (but we found a very tasty cafe with breakfasts, though you need to walk a little, more on it below) - The hotel is on a steep descent, walking up the mountain is a bit of a sporting activity) but there is nothing near the hotel (except for 1 cafe in km Bayview, with the only normal coffee on the island (from a coffee machine) and the most delicious chicken sandwich in the world!!!) and so, only the road along which you can walk a little, and then there are already a lot of cars and serpentines, you will not be able to go along it, since there are no paths for people. Therefore, either sit in the hotel, or take a tuk-tuk and go to neighboring settlements, which costs from 300₽ to 600₽ depending on where you are going) And so everything is super, thanks to the owner"

The entire property is meticulously maintained, offering a spotless and peaceful environment that is perfect for unwinding. The attention to detail in both the interior and exterior cleanliness was simply outstanding. The resort's views are nothing short of breathtaking. Prior to arrival, I had reservations about the room rate, considering it somewhat high. However, the moment I was greeted by the magnificent panorama from my room, all doubts dissolved. The unparalleled vista made it clear that the value received far exceeded the cost. Adding to the perfection was the incredible staff. Their genuine warmth and eagerness to help were remarkable and made the stay truly special. Every aspect of this visit was memorable. Thank you for an absolutely wonderful experience."

"We stayed four nights at Casalay Boutique Villas and Dive and overall had a wonderful experience. The location is truly special – stunning views, beautifully designed villas, a very well-kept property, and breathtaking sunsets by the pool or from the terrace. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing, perfect for a luxurious getaway. Be aware that getting there can be a bit tricky. Buses from Manila to Batangas City run regularly, but the last ferry departs at 4 PM. Make sure to plan your trip accordingly – we ran into some issues because of this. The food is more expensive than local options, but very clean and easily adaptable to vegetarian needs. While the vegetarian menu is limited, the manager was very accommodating and open to adjustments, which we truly appreciated. There are plenty of activities: a paid boat transfer to Secret Bay, trips to Sabang, diving, massages, and more. Just keep in mind to clarify whether you book activities through the hotel or third-party providers, as prices can vary and surcharges are common. Some small downsides: our room was only cleaned on two of the four days, which didn’t meet the highest hygiene standards, and the beach could be a little cleaner. Still, we had a very enjoyable stay. The combination of friendly staff, beautiful setting, and unique location makes this hotel highly recommendable."

"Very clean, quiet and well landscaped property. Great location for good dive sites. The owners care a lot about their property and it shows. They offer good food too, if you want to eat there."

"1.房間:到的時候，在餐廳一抬頭就是海景，房間開門就是泳池，景色非常的開闊，感覺非常非常的舒服，非常有度假感。 2.環境:花園打理的特別好，泳池邊的所有的椅子什麼的都打掃的特別乾淨，一看就是用心維護了。非常有家的感覺。後天的視野更加的開闊，因為那邊就是猴子灣，還可以自由的去浮潛，那邊的珊瑚非常的漂亮。 3.服務:房間打掃的特別乾淨，還主動幫我們按照規律去收拾了一下我們其他的物品。主管Ann更是沒的説，讓我們有一種家的感覺。以至於後面每次從那邊經過，都會像經過家一樣，他的服務真的非常非常的好。 4.交通:可能每個人最大的感覺就是交通會不方便，但是其實他每天有一趟來回的接送，其實夠了，因為我們不會天天往外面跑，外面也沒啥東西，頂多就是餐廳和按摩，很多時間還是願意在酒店躺着， 5.吃的:酒店的吃的味道非常的好，不管是東南亞還是西式的，味道都非常好，本來以為酒店的是一般的，結果去了外面吃了之後才發現酒店味道其實還蠻好。好久好久沒有做的這麼開心的感覺了！感謝酒店！ 五星推薦！！！！"

"The resort is nestled in a quiet harbour within a small village just a short distance from Puerto Galera — you can reach the town in about 10 minutes by tricycle for 50 pesos. The property sits right on the waterfront, with its courtyard opening directly onto the bay. The setting is incredibly serene, cosy and picturesque. The grounds feature plenty of relaxing spots: comfortable chairs, sun loungers and hammocks where you can unwind. We especially loved the chair near the large tree — it was the perfect place to relax! The sea near the resort is a bit murky due to local currents, so not many people swim here. However, this isn’t an issue at all, as you can quickly and affordably reach the stunning beaches of Sabang (I highly recommend La Laguna) by tricycle — or even on foot if you’re up for a walk. During low tide, you can explore the seabed right near the hotel. The resort also has a small swimming pool, and despite other guests staying there, we never had any trouble finding space to take a dip. The rooms are clean and well‑maintained, featuring a small kitchenette, stylish bathrooms and even a bathtub. We stayed on the ground floor, so we occasionally noticed small ants and once spotted a gecko — but they never caused any inconvenience. Please note that the air conditioning is rather weak, so the room might feel a bit stuffy or not quite cool enough at times. There’s both a ceiling fan and a standing fan available, though, and overall the accommodation was comfortable. The on‑site restaurant offers a wide selection of dishes for breakfast and other meals, with prices typical for a resort area. We were very pleased with the food. The staff are attentive, always smiling and eager to help. During our week‑long stay, the resort wasn’t crowded, which made for a truly relaxing experience — you really get what you came for. Occasionally, local guests can be a bit noisy, laughing loudly or singing karaoke, which might disturb your sleep or meditation. However, this is not the resort’s fault, and it’s still relatively quiet compared to other spots around Puerto Galera, such as White Beach. What could be improved: 1) Flip‑flops. It’s odd that a seaside resort doesn’t offer free flip‑flops like most similar places do — they only rent them out here. Even budget hotels usually provide this small convenience. 2) Charge for outside food. Corkage fees are normal, but charging an extra 150 pesos for any outside food is too much. Even though we weren’t charged, the mere existence of such a rule makes the resort look stingy. This rule should be removed. 3) Wi-Fi was dead almost all of the time. Don’t rely on it. Thanks to the Blue Crystal Resort for a nice stay! I highly recommend it."

"Absolutely cannot recommend this place highly enough. It's a litte further down the sea front but tucked away from the noise while still being right on the water. The room was immaculate and spacious, cleaned everyday and (surprisingly) mosquito-free. The resaurant offers fantastic food at a great price and the whole place has a family run vibe. And it's this that I rate so highly about the place. I was solo travelling over the Christmas holiday and the ladies that run the hotel were so so welcoming and friendly.They offered for me to join their Christmas dinner and kept breakfast open to me 15-20 minutes late so I could catch the 9am dive and still eat when I came back. They were all so lovely, it didn't feel like I was alone over the festive period. If I am ever to visit PG again, I'll 100% be staying at Out of the Blue. "It’s not a 5 star boutique but what it is- is amazing. Location right on the beach. Good food, beer cold and cheap, people remembered us, room secure with cold ac and a fridge. Got a free upgrade to a bungalow. Will 100% come back again. Photos are just outside the resort mostly. There was a typhoon off the coast for a couple days but that didn’t affect diving. Diver’s paradise!"
