"This hotel opens directly onto the beach you see in the pictures, and the water quality is great. It's not crowded at all, so you won't feel like you're packed in like sardines, and there are water activities available. We booked for two people, and it was only about 150 per person… I also have to praise the hotel's breakfast (which is free)! Upon check-in, they give you a breakfast voucher per person. In the morning, you just go to the front desk before 10 AM and say you're there for breakfast. Then you can pick your favorite spot by the beach and wait for a server to take your order. Breakfast is à la carte, with options for either Thai or Western style. We originally thought we'd order Western for the photos, but it turned out to taste really good too! 👍 If you want to relax comfortably on the island for a couple of days on a tight budget, I highly recommend this place."

"Cute hotel with a good view on the sea. Nice rooms but you can hear the people walk by and the room darkness isn’t really good if you want to sleep late in the morning. Breakfast served directly in the room around 9am. Unfortunately the taste wasn’t really good. Our stay was positive in general!"

"Excellent hotel! There are some shortcomings with the meeting, it is better to contact in advance. The breakfast is monotonous, but you will not die of hunger. The pastry shop at the hotel is great!!! The coffee is not the best, no matter how hard the girls tried. Cleanliness is 4. The air conditioner in the room C-22 is noisy. The whole hotel is in European style, all in the little things. The staff is friendly. It is a 20-30 minute walk to a good beach, at lunch there is a restaurant ”sun set” with excellent Tom-yam, 10 minutes walk from the hotel. In the evening on the pier there is a market with seafood, which they will cook for you on the grill. I recommend 👍"

"Excellent hotel, all photos are true. When settled, fruit and welcome drink are served. polite and attentive staff. There is a free transfer from/to the pier, cheeslongi, work delivery of food. Breakfast is brought to the room, very delicious! On the second floor there is a swimming pool and a recreation area, showers. The room has a powerful air conditioner, tropical shower, there are coats, umbrellas, free drinks, chips, tea and even a capsule coffee machine. From the downside only a noisy beach at daytime due to a large number of Hindus, but if you go a little further on the shore, you can quietly sit off the shore."

"The property is centrally located on the island. Motorbikes are available for rent at 300 THB, though the one we received seemed to have been in a prior accident, making it difficult to ride as it constantly pulled to the left. The location is convenient, with restaurants within walking distance, and a shuttle service is also provided. The bedroom and bathroom were clean, but the bathroom did have a slight drain odor. The room itself had no offensive smell, but wasn't particularly fresh-smelling either. The bathroom floor was quite slippery, so caution was needed when walking. The wall-mounted shower had very weak water pressure; a standard shower head would be a significant improvement. Interestingly, the water pressure at the sink and from the bidet sprayer was strong. The room lighting was rather dim and yellowish. The TV was unusable due to intermittent signal (this was in our family room). Breakfast included congee, bread, coffee, and Ovaltine."

"We originally booked 3 nights at Tawaen Beach Resort and ended up extending for another 3 nights — and honestly, that says everything. This is not our first stay. We were here six months ago, stayed in the same resort, and deliberately came back again. Consistency matters, and Tawaen Beach Resort delivers it every single time. The staff are outstanding — professional, genuinely kind, attentive, and always accommodating. You feel welcomed, respected, and taken care of from the moment you arrive. The food and coffee pricing is very reasonable, especially compared to neighboring resorts where prices feel exaggerated and borderline absurd. Here, you actually feel you’re getting value without being taken advantage of. Cleanliness deserves special mention. The hygiene standards are truly top-tier resort level — rooms, lobby, common areas — everything is spotless and well maintained. This is something many resorts on the island fail at, even if they look nice on the outside. Location? Simply unbeatable. You step out of the resort and within seconds, you’re standing in front of a magical turquoise-blue sea and perfectly clean, soft white sand — genuinely one of the best beach fronts in Koh Larn. They have beach lounges and chairs where you can relax all day, and the beach staff constantly adjust the umbrellas as the sun moves — a small detail that makes a huge difference. Service is attentive without being intrusive. What truly impressed us: Over the past few weeks, we met multiple couples (not one, not two — FOUR) who stayed at nearby resorts and had nightmare experiences — poor hygiene, bad rooms, disappointing service. After visiting our room, lobby, and seeing the standards at Tawaen Beach Resort, they immediately canceled their bookings and rebooked here. That alone speaks volumes. We live just outside Pattaya and come to Koh Larn almost every month. One thing is absolutely certain: We will never stay anywhere else. Ever. The pricing is very fair, especially compared to the nonsense prices next door that don’t deliver even half the quality. Try this place once — and you’re hooked for life. We proudly consider ourselves lifetime clients. Couldn’t ask for better. Period."

"When we arrived, which might prove difficult for some to find, Martin, the owner was just on his way out. He immediately turned back and greeted us and explained the room we had booked wasn’t ready yet as we were several hours before booking in time. We knew this but he kindly allowed us to leave our overnight bags in storage as such so we could go exploring. Martin, being an Englishman, like myself, had a good old chin wag about several topics. On arriving back from our walkabout, and still earlier than booking in time, Martin said our room was ready and a lady led us there. Best room in the house with simply the best view. Just four choices for breakfast but catered for most palates. Martin found time to natter whenever l went to him for advice about where to eat, beaches etc and nothing was too much trouble. A fine host running a fine hotel."

"The location is cool! Right on the shore of the sea. Go 1 minute to the beach. The room is very clean. It's all in the tile. The ceilings are high, fresh! The curtains are black on the control. You can park the fairy tales under your balcony. The view is beautiful from the balcony. Resepshn for settlement at them in a bar on the beach 😂 First did not understand where to go! Search in the restaurant)) They were treated with fresh juice. Breakfasts are very delicious."

"I liked this hotel but ky gf didn't like the shared bathroom situation. Share bathrooms were pretty clean. The bed was comfortable and the tent even has AC. The view was lovely. Breakfast was alright. We ended up checking out early but that was mostly GF decision."
