"We are generally happy with the stay. Free buffet breakfast starts at 6.30am ... and was sufficient for our halal-requirements. Staff were thoughtful and offered good prompt service ... from Front office, maintenance man, to bellboy and security, all were excellent. They speak acceptable English. However the sandal provided was not fresh and was used previously ... see photo. If you want to rent a scooter, there is a small rental shop just 50 meters to the left as you exit the hotel for 300baht per day."

"Great hotel location close to terminal 21 but terrible service. I had advised i was travelling for my birthday and was willing to pay for an upgrade. When i arrived, they basically charged me more than full price for the upgraded room. Instead of adding on what i had already paid. When i looked online the price was even lower than what they were charging me directly at the hotel. I guess they did gove me a birthday cake"

"Had an amazing stay at D Varee Jomtien Beach Pattaya! The location is unbeatable, right next to Jomtien Beach, so you can step right out onto the sand. The rooms are spacious and clean, with a viewing balcony that offers stunning panoramic views of the Gulf of Thailand. The two swimming pools and the rooftop bar really set the mood. Breakfast was varied and delicious. The staff were warm and attentive, and the facilities are comprehensive, creating a fantastic holiday atmosphere. It offers incredible value for money and is the perfect choice for a beach getaway in Pattaya!"

"Before we arrived at the hotel we tried to call the hotel to confirm if they received my email about the late check in because our flight was at night and we were arriving at morning because we still need to travel from Bangkok to Pattaya. I called 3 times and what I got was phone dropped. The staff is a bit rude and always saying call at 9 am. When we arrived at the hotel a staff was sleeping at the couch and another one sleeping at the counter. When I said check in he doesn’t even check or ask about the booking and still telling me to come back at 9 am. I said I paid already and have my booking stay for 3 nights. He didn’t even bothered to check my booking before saying anything. We came as family, I know it’s different booking of room as it’s shown in the booking however they separated us in different hotel and did not even think that we are family that they might can make better arrangements but offered nothing. To cut that story on The other hand the hotel itself has simple rooms a bit old but it’s comfortable. The pool can accommodate a lot more and the location is nice. Just walking distance to many restaurants and other attractions. Jomtien beach and Walking streets is just 3 minutes away. The view from our room is nice and nice atmosphere. Very live location. I can recommend this hotel for its price and amenities and location, and I just hope they will improve the service quality for better experience."

"I had a wonderful stay at The Quba Boutique Hotel Pattaya! I was truly impressed by the excellent service from all the staff—they were polite, friendly, and went above and beyond my expectations, especially considering the very reasonable price. The room is compact but well-designed, making it easy to move around comfortably, and everything was very clean. The bathroom is spacious, with strong water pressure, which I really appreciated. There were plenty of hangers, the TV sound quality was great, and the bed was incredibly soft and comfortable—I slept very well! For a hotel priced under 1,000 baht on a weekend in a central Pattaya location, this is an amazing value. I would highly recommend it, especially for travelers who have their own transportation or are comfortable getting around, as the hotel is located in a small alley and not within walking distance to the beach."

"The hotel's location is a bit off the beaten path, but it was quite convenient for us since we drove. There's a night market and a 7-Eleven not too far from the hotel. The beach is right out the south gate of the hotel. The room was super spacious, and the breakfast was decent with a good variety. I'd recommend staying here if you have a car or a motorbike; otherwise, it might be a bit inconvenient. Alternatively, taking a ride from Jomtien Beach would make it much easier."

"I originally booked a premium room, but was a bit disappointed to find it was a connecting room. The front desk upgraded me to a much better room. I had several interactions with them, and their service was excellent every time. I even got a towel elephant! The private beach's sand wasn't the best, but the fact that it was uncrowded made up for it. It's a shame I missed out on the cafe and happy hour."

"Went to Thailand for Songkran with friends. After Bangkok, we headed to Pattaya. This hotel we booked is in a great location, only a 10-15 minute walk from Pattaya Beach and Walking Street. Transportation and dining options are convenient around here. The best part is the front desk lady was very kind and spoke excellent Chinese, so communication was completely seamless. When checking out, I added the owner on WeChat and found out he's from Yunnan! The room was clean and tidy, and you can smoke on the balcony. I'll definitely stay here again next time!"

"We had a bit of a hiccup during check-in. We booked a sea view suite, and the description on Trip.com stated it would have a 1.8-meter king bed plus a 0.8-meter sofa bed in the living room. However, when we arrived, it was just a regular sofa. The hotel claimed they never had a sofa bed and asked me to provide proof from the vendor (Trip.com) that one was advertised. I showed the front desk the screenshot, and after some negotiation, they provided a complimentary rollaway bed for the living room (originally 1000 THB per night). This whole ordeal took about half an hour. First, the pros: The environment is absolutely amazing. Both balconies offer sea views, and the breeze on the top floor is fantastic – very comfortable to stand out there. The breakfast menu changed slightly every day, and the fried fish cakes were delicious. All the hotel staff, from the front desk to the cleaning ladies, would greet you proactively. This is pretty standard for most hotels in Thailand. Now for the cons: For two people, they would only provide one room key, citing safety concerns. This made getting in and out very inconvenient. Also, if we left the room for a short while, like to go to the pool, the air conditioning would be forcibly cut off. I suspect they only provide one key to save electricity, preventing the AC from running when no one is in the room. The second con is that, possibly because it's on the top floor, the air conditioning was very ineffective. When we first entered, you had to sit directly under the vent to feel any coolness. Both AC units in the living room and bedroom were like this. Thankfully, once we settled down, it wasn't too hot and didn't affect our rest. The third con: On the third day, I woke up to a dead cockroach on the floor. I called room service, but they said they couldn't clean until after 8 AM (I probably made a mistake here and should have called guest services directly). So we left. When we returned that evening, the room had been cleaned, the sheets changed, and the tip I left on the bedside table was gone, but the cockroach carcass was still there. This time, I was smarter and called guest services. 'Dou Bao' (the translator on my phone, I assume) translated that there was a cockroach, and a staff member arrived within a minute with a broom and dustpan to take care of it. That guy was awesome!"
