-The hotel is quite old, but still acceptable if you don’t mind
-We checked in around 4:30 PM and had to wait quite a while. It seemed like there were no rooms available for check-in at that time, and there was no clear explanation given. We were initially given room 2404 and informed that we had been upgraded to a Premier room. However, when we arrived, the room was not decorated for Valentine’s Day as we had requested. We understood that the hotel was likely very busy and that special requests are not guaranteed.
Later, a staff member knocked on our door and asked us to move to room 2403, asking whether anyone had called to inform us (we had not received any call). Eventually, we were moved to the correct room, which was nicely decorated with a “Happy Valentine’s” setup. We really appreciated it, but guests should not be assigned to the wrong room in the first place.
-The balcony could not be used for long because cigarette smoke kept drifting in with the wind.
-There was a lot of noise from teenagers racing motorcycles outside."

"While the location is close to Terminal 21, there are many better options, and it's not actually close to the beach. I found that many attractions in Pattaya are actually closer to Jomtien Beach, so for me, the geographical advantage was just so-so. The hotel has a very business-like feel, lacking a resort vibe, though it is relatively new. They didn't even provide a comb, and the front desk explicitly stated they don't have any. The only highlight was the breakfast, which offered a good variety, but it was exactly the same two days in a row. The front desk staff's attitude was also mediocre. Personally, I won't be staying here again."

"I’ve stayed at several Ascott properties across different brands—Lyf, Oakwood, and Somerset—and they’ve consistently delivered great experiences. Somerset Pattaya was no exception and definitely lived up to my expectations.
From the moment I arrived, everything went smoothly. The check-in process was quick and seamless, and I was pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary room upgrade. The room itself was spotless, well-designed, and thoughtfully arranged, with all the amenities I could possibly need for a comfortable stay.
One of the highlights of the hotel is the rooftop pool. It’s easily one of the nicest I’ve seen in Pattaya—an infinity pool with stunning views, and it gets sunlight throughout the day, which makes it perfect for relaxing. For families, there’s also a second pool featuring a large pirate ship, which is a fantastic touch for kids.
The location is another major plus. Central Mall is just across the street, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. If you’re looking for nightlife or entertainment, there are plenty of bars and venues just around the corner.
Overall, Somerset Pattaya has become one of my favorite hotels in the city. It combines excellent service, great facilities, and a prime location. I’ll definitely be coming back again."

"I stayed here 3 nights and regretted it on the first night. I stayed in Building B and I see a few small cockeroaches and I killed then. Then later at night more appear. Worst part was there were 3 on my towel as I was drying off out of the shower. I asked for a room change that night. The room was slightly better and only enocuntered 2 small roaches this time. Room is ok but they need to solve for the roach issue. Also they give you a key plus a plastic card to turn on the electricity. Quite annoyed to carry around in your pocket.
On the good side, 711 is next door, the mall entrance is across the street, and beach is a short walk. Location is all it has going for it. Granted I paid $50 USD a night but was expecting more cleanliness but the reviews also warned me of this. Gamble didn’t pay off."

"I recently stayed at the Zand Miranda for a 2-night budget-friendly getaway in Pattaya, and overall, it served its purpose very well.

The location is absolutely perfect—you are a 2-minute walk from Pattaya Beach, 10 minutes from the excitement of Walking Street, and right next to the Central Festival mall for shopping and dining. You cannot beat this for convenience. The pool area is fantastic: large, clean, and surrounded by plenty of sunbeds. It was the perfect place to relax after a day out. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, and the included breakfast had a solid selection to start the day.
Now, for the important caveat: manage your expectations for the rooms. The rooms are basic and noticeably more dated and simpler than the polished photos suggest. The furniture is functional but worn, and the decor is quite minimalist. "I've been to Pattaya dozens of times, and for the past few years, I've consistently stayed at this hotel. I stayed for a week each in January and July last year, and again for a week this time. I booked a room without breakfast, but at check-in, I was upgraded to a higher floor for around 850 baht a day, not including breakfast. The hotel service is excellent; the bellhops always greet you and offer assistance, and the front desk staff are very welcoming. The hotel is connected to Terminal 21, so you can walk directly into the mall from the lobby.
The room size is decent, and it has a balcony with a sea view. The sea views from the Hilton here are even more stunning. There's an outdoor observation deck on the 32nd floor offering a more panoramic view, and you can even see the Sanctuary of Truth. The housekeeping staff are also wonderful; they keep everything spotless. I give them 40 baht in tips every day, as they really work the hardest. The drinks and water in the mini-fridge are replenished daily for free, and the pool is also great.
Check-in is generally in the afternoon, so if you arrive early, you might need to store your luggage before returning to check in.
The hotel's location is superb. Pattaya is a small city, and this hotel is very close to the beach. Tiffany's Show is right downstairs, and there's a Big C supermarket to the left when you exit. The night market is also downstairs and sometimes moves to the first floor of the mall.
Every morning, there are various free classes available for an hour.
Overall, it's a fantastic hotel."

"The room was spacious and had a balcony. The in-room facilities weren't super new, but they were clean and tidy, which was a plus. The breakfast offered a good variety of dishes, but it wasn't really suited for a Chinese palate 😆. After three days, I ran out of things I wanted to eat. The surrounding area is relatively quiet for Pattaya, not noisy or chaotic, which was a big positive. Stepping out, you're right at the beach, and that was fantastic! The hotel's pool area was large and had multiple pools, another great feature! The only slight downsides were the rather loud air conditioning and refrigerator noises. If you need absolute quiet to sleep, this is something to consider, but I feel like this is a common issue in Thailand. Overall, it's worth it."

EE AbanicoThis was genuinely one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. From the moment we arrived, the staff were exceptionally warm, professional, and accommodating. Being personally driven to our room added a unique and memorable touch to the stay.
When we entered the room, we were honestly amazed. It is rare for a hotel to exceed its promotional photos, but this one truly did. The room was immaculate, beautifully presented, and thoughtfully designed. The complimentary minibar was a generous inclusion and added even more value to the experience.
Service throughout our stay was outstanding. The front desk team were always available and quick to assist with any request. The restaurant delivered high quality meals for both dinner and breakfast, and the onsen and sauna facilities were incredibly relaxing and a fantastic benefit to have included at no extra cost.
Considering the overall experience, the value for the price point is exceptional and well worth it. My only regret is not booking this property sooner. If I return to Pattaya, I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Ddorothy_kiraThe room was quite spacious, though the specific room type I booked didn't come with a bathtub. They told me I got an upgrade at check-in, which I'm guessing referred to the floor, not the room type. The hotel beach is public, but the water facilities inside are private. If you walk left along the beach, you'll find stalls selling fresh squid – you should definitely try the squid sashimi! Regular water play is free, but renting water sports equipment costs money. We tried the kids' electric jet skis for 30 minutes, which cost 850 Thai Baht. Breakfast was good, and it was 245 Thai Baht for children. At check-out, they even thoughtfully exchanged all my coins for banknotes. And finally, the sunset was absolutely stunning!

We were very disappointed to find that an expensive New Year’s Eve dinner was automatically included in our price. This was not mentioned in our Trip.com confirmation and felt like a ”tricky” hidden fee. The food at the gala was quite simple for such a high price. On a positive note, the staff put on an interesting show featuring Thai dancing and boxing (I hope they were paid extra for their hard work!), though the singer and band were unremarkable.

The pool is clean and well kept
The fitness is small and basic but well maintained and has free weights.
The location is good for those who want to be in Jomtien, close enough to the bars and beach and it’s not too noisy despite being close to a busy road

GGuest UserThe hotel is large and spacious, with a lush, shady environment. The rooms are exceptionally clean. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming, and the service is excellent. The air conditioning in our room was a bit noisy, but when we informed the staff, they fixed it immediately. The swimming pool is huge, and the kids absolutely loved it!

GGudajiaoJust wrapped up a family vacation at Dusit Thani Pattaya, and I'm absolutely thrilled with our stay, especially traveling with my parents – definitely a five-star review!
We opted for a Club Room this time, and the ocean view from our window was stunning. Watching the sunrise and enjoying the sea breeze from the balcony with my parents was incredibly relaxing. The hotel's environment truly is top-notch; the tropical gardens are maintained like a botanical garden, and the pool is right by the beach. Every day was a joy, sunbathing by the pool and taking early morning strolls through the gardens.
I particularly want to commend the service. Seeing us with elderly parents, the staff consistently went out of their way to open doors and press elevator buttons for us, always with genuine, warm smiles. The Club Lounge's afternoon tea was also fantastic, with a peaceful atmosphere and exquisite pastries ❤️

GGuest UserI recently stayed at Welcom World Beachfront Resort and had a genuinely enjoyable experience. The property sits right by the beach, so the views are beautiful from morning to evening. The location is convenient—close enough to nearby attractions but still quiet enough to feel relaxing.
The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The bed was soft, the air-conditioning worked well, and the balcony provided a great spot to unwind. Housekeeping did a great job keeping everything fresh throughout my stay.
The pool area was one of the highlights. There are plenty of loungers, the water is clean, and the atmosphere is perfect for relaxing. The beach is only a few steps away, making it easy to switch between the pool and the sea.
The staff were friendly and helpful. Check-in was smooth, and everyone I interacted with was polite and willing to assist. Breakfast had a decent variety—nothing overly fancy, but enough options to start the day satisfied.
Overall, Welcom World Beachfront Resort is a solid choice for anyone looking for a relaxing beachfront stay. It strikes a nice balance between comfort, value, and convenience. I’d happily return.

GGuest UserWas a nice hotel. Upon arrival it was hectic due to the amount of people checking in all at once, but overall was handled okay. Breakfast was included, but they need to work on this and have a bigger selection of food items. Basically, most items that should have been hot were cold.
Was at a good location in Jomtiem. Is a bit far from Pattaya city, but not an issue and one can easily hop on and off the baht bus for 10 baht, or 20 baht for a longer journey into Pattaya city and Walking Street.

GGuest UserI actually like this hotel. The reception area is very nice, and there is a large bar in the alley adjacent to reception. My room was nice. It had Thai style furnishings, and looked nice. The balcony was large and had a table and two chairs. I didn't go to the pool, but I could see it from my balcony, and it looked very nice. I never went to the exercise room, because the pictures online just showed a bike and elliptical type machine, but I don't think they have any weights there ~ other than a few kettle bells. I had a small refrigerator, a water kettle, and safe, so it was fine for a short stay. It is centrally located and is in a very walkable area. The only bad thing was the air conditioning unit blew directly on the bed, I tried to adjust the sway and fan speed to make it less noticeable, but nothing I did worked. So, I have had a sore throat for the past few days. Overall, it is a nice place for short stays. The pool seemed very nice, but if you don't need a pool, then staying at a guesthouse might be a good alternative. I didn't eat the food there. I had my Do Not Disturb sign up most of the time, and they do not bother you or provide any towels / water in that case, but they cleaned my room once and did a good job. Overall, it is a solid hotel.
