We had a very lovely time at Casa de Lipe. We even got engaged here so we will certainly be coming back.
Pros:
The staff are the loveliest people on Planet Earth
No loud music at any time, very quiet
Sensational food and service, very smiley staff ready to help with anything
Private beach is a real bonus
The setting is fabulous. Among the rainforest and with the sound of the sea rocking you to sleep
Epic sunsets
Great breakfasts
Cons (being really picky):
The air con unit in our room was a bit loud
The pool in our room (honeymoon villa) was a little bit smaller than I expected
The decor could be updated
We’ll be coming back here time and time again for sure. Thank you Casa de Lipe for making our time on Koh Lipe very memorable!

LesiklisaI stayed at this hotel for two nights. Everything was good, the grounds were pleasant, everything was clean, and the rooms were clean and all wood-paneled. You really feel that authentic Thai island vibe. The only thing missing in the room was a bathrobe and a dental kit. It's a long walk to 7-Eleven; I could have called a motorcycle taxi, of course, but it would be better if these kits were provided in the rooms. Luckily, I happened to have dental kits from previous hotels in my suitcase. The hotel has its own beach. One beach has a sandy entry, no rocks, but for some reason, the water there was always a bit murky. The second has rocks, but you can walk through them a little and then swim and snorkel comfortably. There are sun loungers right there, and a hotel cafe too. They have happy hour from 4 PM to 6 PM, which I took advantage of. My biggest disappointment was breakfast. There was a selection of pancakes and toast, which I rarely eat, as well as three Thai dishes, and you couldn't order from the menu in the morning. Basically, I stayed hungry 😬. Breakfast is important to me; it's about strength and energy, especially when you have an active vacation with swimming all day.
However, the view from the room was simply beautiful. If you want peace and quiet, get one of the bungalows higher up. Otherwise, it's quiet everywhere unless your neighbors start getting rowdy on their balconies 😄.
I forgot to add that the sunrise was something else; I could see it from my room too, but on the second day, I went down to the beach to watch it.

JintianbushangbanmingtianzaibanzhuanStayed in June during the off-season, in a basic room type without a pool, for around 1000 RMB including breakfast for two.
The breakfast for two deserves its own glowing review – it completely blew all the Sanya hotels out of the water! #HighValueForMoneyHotelRecommendation #OneStopResort #LuxuryHotelWorthSleepingIn #TopIslandResortChoice #HotelsWithAmazingViews
I stayed for eight nights on the island, hopping between four hotels, including Eileen and Bulow Casa. Overall, this hotel offered the best value for money.
This time, I stayed in Villa 1 at the Serendipity Beach Resort Koh Lipe, and the experience was absolutely fantastic. It's definitely a high-value hidden gem on the island! The room's location is incredible, right next to the famous cliffside restaurant. You can walk straight down to the restaurant area, and opening the window reveals an expansive, endless sea view – clear and calming. It's perfect for capturing atmospheric, cinematic sea views with ease.
The hotel's most delightful surprise was the private balcony breakfast service, offering both privacy and a touch of ceremony. Staff would promptly collect the menu at 4 PM the day before, and the exquisite and hearty breakfast would be delivered to the balcony at the agreed time the next morning. The food quality is outstanding, ingredients are fresh, and enjoying breakfast with the sea breeze truly immerses you in a relaxed island holiday mode. The hotel also has its own secluded private beach. The sand is fine and soft, and there are very few tourists, making it incredibly peaceful – you get to enjoy the quiet seaside scenery all to yourself. The overall design is a pristine, ecological mountain garden, with lush greenery and a tranquil environment. Strolling through the grounds in the morning feels like being in a natural coastal park – uncrowded, quiet, pleasant, and relaxing. It's especially great for flying drones.
The room facilities are generally of high quality. Being adjacent to the Ten Moons Lipe Resort, the living experience is excellent. The only minor flaw was that the shower water pressure was a bit low, the water temperature was slightly cool, and due to the island's water treatment, the shower water was a little salty. However, with the hot island climate, slightly cooler water wasn't an issue at all and didn't affect the stay. Overall, the value for money is exceptionally high.

WasabiRThe location is probably the biggest plus here. It's right by the pier when you get off the boat in Koh Lipe, so you can walk straight there. They even help with luggage, so you just stroll along! The pool area is quite large, good for swimming. There are several restaurants and bars to suit different tastes.
**Cleanliness:** We left a tip every day, so the room was cleaned pretty well.
**Ambiance:** The hotel is right next to Walking Street, which is a big plus for anyone who loves shopping. The ocean outside is beautiful, despite a lot of boats coming and going; it's just not very quiet.
**Service:** The service was truly terrible. The front desk staff clearly treated Chinese guests differently. We came during the low season, so the occupancy was very low, but they gave us a deluxe pool access room in the furthest corner, quite a distance from the main pool view. I've heard they only give Chinese guests the 'tail end' rooms, and I certainly experienced it! The front desk staff were also quite impatient when we asked questions, and the tuk-tuk they helped us call was more expensive than ones we found ourselves. I really can't complain enough about the service here! All the other hotels we stayed at on the island had much better service. There wasn't even a welcome treat for my birthday, which other places provided!

Guest UserExcellent resort on Koh Lipe. It has everything you could possibly need. Clean, modern, comfortable and welcoming rooms and facilities.
The pool design is probably the best I have ever seen - large, spacious, clean, shady and inviting.
Food and drinks from the bar overlooking the ocean were good and plenty of options for the included breakfast.
Location is a great spot on Sunrise beach. Free hire of snorkels, kayaks etc. plus cold drinking water refills were a huge bonus.
The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, unfortunately we had to cut our trip a bit short due to a medical issue, but they were so helpful during that process including taking us to the clinic and boat - thanks very much!

We stayed in the Tree Pool Villa, and our kids absolutely loved it. They kept saying it felt like a real treehouse! The glass roof upstairs was such a nice surprise—we even spent some time looking at the stars before going to bed. They also had so much fun in the private pool. If they weren't there, they were swimming in the main pool or playing on the beach, which is only a short walk from the villa.
The beach is honestly beautiful. The water is so clear and such a gorgeous blue. One evening we walked to Sunset Beach to watch the sunset, and it wasn't far at all.
The resort was quiet and relaxing, the food was really good, and all the staff were kind and welcoming. Before we left, my husband and I looked at each other and said, ”We have to come back here again.

Ben GawithAbsolutely brilliant.
The staff were there to pick us up off the boat and take us straight to the hotel, really easy check in and the place was lovely.
The Anda Lipe staff really made our stay. When asked if they could help out with decorating the room for my partners birthday, they went above and beyond and really made the day special and decorated the room lovely.
The breakfast was great, lots of options. The free coffee all day is a really nice touch. The room was comfy, spacious and well equipped.
Overall, the stay was amazing. Would really recommend to anyone coming to Koh Lipe.

Excellent location – secluded, quiet, peaceful, and free from those noisy boats. Beautiful private beach and great service! There's a free hourly shuttle to town from 4 PM to 7 PM. After that, it's 50 baht per person. On the downside: we had cockroaches due to gaps in the doors, and my wife was wary of snakes, but thankfully none made their way inside. The bed creaked, and the linen was quite basic for a hotel of this caliber. But! You'll definitely love it here! They also offer free snorkeling gear and kayaks.

The branch on the beach in pattaya has no hot shower in the bamboo house, and the phone number is not available. It is difficult to go there without going to the beach. The Sunrise branch has hot showers. But the beach quality and noise is really not good. But its dive shop is okay, and the price is the same on the island.

The hotel was chosen based on its relatively low price and location. The hotel has seen a lot in its time: a padlock on the front door, cracks in the floor, sockets that are extremely loose, unobtrusive service. However, enough of the negative. Quite good breakfasts, proximity to the sea, good attitude of the staff level out the negative. Try it!
