"This is probably the best hostel I ever stayed in. You get: - a really big locker, with a refill water bottle, a towel, a beach bag and an umbrella - big bed with a small locker inside and curtains, 2 pillows and nice blanket - private bathroom for every room with hot shower - free water - free standard breakfast (toast, jam, coffee, tea) - swimming pool Further more it's located directly at the beach. Probably the only negative thing might be that the mattress is a little little bit too hard but I still slept fine."

"We liked Akira a lot! It’s super spacious and comfy rooms were really nice. The bathroom was also big and all in all super clean. We had a pool view apartment. Only thing in the room was the quite loud aircon. We tried to get it into a night mode, but it didn’t work. And without you cannot do it. So we slept with earplugs. The breakfast was the best we had on our Southeast Asia Tour. Of course the jam and stuff really sweet and 50/50 Asian food but nevertheless really nice. Sometimes the English of the staff was not perfect so there were some misunderstandings but all were really nice. They also brought us to the ferry with the car. We would recommend the hotel and also come back here!"

"Stayed here for 3 nights, Rooms are chalet concept. 5mins walk from the pier. Pros - Lots of beach chairs - Quite beach (away from the noisy boats and safer to swim) - Provide beach towels - Massage hut by the beach (run separately by a different operator) - 5mins walk to walking street - Provide snorkelling gear for rental - Breakfast was ok. Restaurant food was good. - Friendly staff - Awesome mini fridge (super cold) Cons - Restaurant closes at 7pm - WiFi is not stable at all - The hotel sewerage system is not so good hence there’s a smell (bare-able) from the bathroom. Both our rooms were like that. Just mask it with the air refresherner they provided."

"I consider this the second-best hotel on Koh Lipe, with The Aarin Beach Resort (villas) being the first, but it's too pricey for a holiday, not great value for money. Ananya's location is fantastic, right on Pattaya Beach and next to Walking Street. The rooms are spacious with high-end amenities, and there's even a small pool on the balcony which is occasionally lovely to dip into. The best part is it's not much more expensive than a standard room. The breakfast tastes good, especially the free Thai iced tea, which is delicious – I ordered three cups every day!"

"Centrally located, very clean and very friendly staff, right on the walking street. The view is not very pleasant, lots of rubbish, like in many places on the island, a shame."

"An excellent hotel by local standards. Clean, everything works, Wi-Fi is available everywhere. Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and body lotion are provided in the room. Robes and slippers are provided. A refrigerator, kettle, water, tea, and coffee are provided in the room. The breakfast is excellent. By Thai standards, it's truly magnificent. Eggs are prepared from fried to poached. Sausages are in natural casings, and Thai food is mildly spicy. A coffee machine with GOOD coffee. Only a tourist who's chosen the wrong location would leave hungry. 😁 You can't drink alcohol outside your room, but who needs it when you're spending lunch and dinner outside the hotel? There's a reef with fish nearby. You can book excursions and all the services available outside the hotel. You have your own sun loungers and beach towels."

"This is my second consecutive year staying at this hotel. Booking a sea view room this time made the experience even better. Our room was conveniently located to the right of the lawn, just a 30-meter walk from the restaurant, which offered direct sea views. The rooms here are incredibly spacious and comfortable; I'll definitely book a full week on my next visit! Breakfast was pretty good, with freshly made noodle soup that was very satisfying. During the off-season, they even offer a 10% dining discount voucher. We could bring our fresh catch back from fishing directly to the restaurant to be cooked for 300 Baht per kilogram. It's a decent price; even though it's 50 Baht more expensive than the walking street, I personally feel Benhard Restaurant offers a much better and cleaner environment."

"They really fulfill my request by allocating my room beside the walkway, which you able to see partial seaview. And the hotel staff here are super friendly. Especially Aon and Hna from the pool bar and restaurant. They make friend with us, make us feel more welcomed. Aon make a really good cocktails. I like the blue long island tea and bird of paradise. Overall the room is super clean and comfy. Is just 3min walks to the beach and restaurant. The breakfast is super nice, and you can get ice cream too. The hotel should give the 2 staff a good thumbs up and rewards by making hotel guest stay happily."

"Chareena Beach is the beachfront section of the Chareena Resort. There's also Chareena Hill, a more sophisticated resort located on the slope next to it, with beautiful views of the bay. It's also more expensive, of course. It's home to The Bay restaurant, with the best views of the entire beach and where breakfast is served. Chareena Garden, which we didn't get to during our one-night stay, is also available. Chareena Beach is a fairly simple, small bungalow located 30-50 meters from the beautiful Pattaya Beach. However, it's very clean with comfortable beds, large pillows (though that's a matter of personal preference), signature linens, and towels. Tea, a kettle, coffee, cream, and water (again, in signature Chareena Hill drinking water bottles) are provided. A mosquito repellent is included, but we didn't see a single mosquito there, nor any other insects. Everything is of a very high standard. Sure, these aren't the luxurious bungalows of some other hotels, but for the price, they're clean, tidy, have a delicious breakfast with a coffee machine, an egg station (scrambled eggs, omelettes, scrambled eggs, or pancakes, all cooked right in front of you), and several hot, delicious dishes. There's also a beach restaurant with cocktails and lunch prepared by the same chef who served breakfast. A special thank you to him! Thanks also to the manager, Toi (if I gave him his name correctly), for making our stay feel like home and organizing a cruise around the island and to neighboring Adang. And overall, it was fun to chat about a variety of topics in the evening. Next time, we'll definitely stay at least three days at either the Beach or the Hill. It's a great experience!"
