"The room was quite spacious, and the service was good. Definitely book a room with a private hot spring tub; soaking in it on the balcony while enjoying the view was really comfortable. The only issue was that during the holiday, the hotel was fully booked, and there were also many people who came just for the forest hot springs. It was my first time seeing so many people in an outdoor hot spring area; every small pool was completely full, so we couldn't even get in. The complimentary forest hot springs were a complete waste since we couldn't use them."

Aside from the tables and corners everywhere, the air conditioner was so dirty I didn't dare turn it on. When I did, it shed dust and was incredibly noisy, and freezing at night. Facilities: The initial design was clearly good, but lack of maintenance resulted in almost everything being in a dilapidated state. The windows had no handles and were very difficult to close properly. None of the shower heads worked properly; they sprayed randomly and were unusable. The door couldn't be locked from the inside (the latch and the latch weren't aligned), so I had to prop it open with a chair. The light strip was half-hanging, the wardrobe was broken horizontally, and in short, everything was damaged. Summary: Aside from the nice view, everything else was terrible. I couldn't sleep well, and the overall experience was extremely poor."

However, it suffers from many common problems of older hotels: outdated facilities and old-fashioned decor. Here are a few points that are of concern to many: the air conditioner is noisy, the heating is ineffective, and surprisingly, only one of the bedside electrical outlets is a two-prong outlet (I don't know who needs so many three-prong outlets these days). There are also many commendable aspects, such as the beautiful bamboo grove surrounding the hotel and the clean swimming pool at the back, which clearly shows it's regularly maintained. However, the facilities are simply too outdated! Even my parents haven't stayed in such an old hotel in a long time. I hope they can improve upon this."

I had originally planned to go for some rice noodles the previous night, and even though they were about to finish their shift, they offered to help me find a place to eat nearby. "Honestly, I usually give positive reviews when I stay at a hotel, but I really want to highlight this one! It's the most comfortable of all the Jinjiang hotels I've stayed at. I'm even hooked on the shower gel and hand soap aromatherapy options nearby! The lavender aromatherapy was so relaxing, the bathroom was warm and bright, and it even played music. The bedding and pillows were every bit as good as I could have hoped. I especially want to mention the retro kettle, which plugs directly into a mineral water bottle. It's so practical, easy to use, and clean. The room also has an air purifier and humidifier—it felt like home! The breakfast was incredibly filling.
