"Overall pleasant accommodation & amenities. Lobby space is huge but sadly a little bare & unimpressive. Needs furnishings or better decor. Wrote this review because I felt obliged to praise the front desk's attitude and his kind upgrade for my room. Would certainly visit again!"

"What a pleasant surprise to find a hotel with truly exceptional service!. We were on a spontaneous family road trip, just going wherever the wind took us since I didn't have my passport on hand. On our way back to Shanghai, we passed through Taicang and decided to stay a night at Club Med, followed by a day of skiing at the Alps. The kids didn't want to go home, so we impulsively booked two more rooms with our luggage in tow. From the moment we checked in, the staff were incredibly warm and patient. They not only upgraded our rooms for free but also thoughtfully arranged connecting rooms on a high floor for us, which was such a nice touch. As soon as we entered the rooms, kids' toiletries and slippers were delivered. Seeing that my older child was bigger, they perceptively included a pair of adult-sized slippers for a lady – very observant! The pool was also very well-maintained, with three clean lanes and a perfect water temperature. While swimming with my kids, I noticed the lifeguard sitting attentively, very professional and constantly monitoring the water. When some children kept jumping in, he immediately went over to remind and stop them (especially since the water is only 1.35m deep). Our first night was so good that we immediately extended our stay for another night. When I went to the front desk to renew our booking and refresh the key cards, I only brought one room's card. The friendly staff member at the front desk flexibly offered to re-make both cards on the spot so I wouldn't have to make another trip! This kind of service truly speaks volumes! Then there's breakfast. Although the variety was limited, the service more than made up for it. We overslept and arrived at the restaurant door right at 10 AM, but instead of being turned away, they informed me they were starting to clear up but had a colleague wait for me to finish getting my food before doing so. The auntie and young lady at the noodle station even re-cooked noodles for me, which was incredibly touching! There were three coffee machines nearby, and a staff member had already cleaned two of them. Seeing me approach wanting coffee, he smiled warmly and told me not to rush, saying he'd leave one machine for me to use and clean it later. So thoughtful and warm! Throughout our stay, whether it was the housekeeping staff, the cleaning aunties downstairs, or the security guards, everyone we encountered smiled, greeted us proactively, and even pressed the elevator button for us. It truly felt like a home away from home for two days! If I had to nitpick, one thing is that the so-called children's playground is just a small corner in a public area, unsupervised, and right next to another hotel entrance/exit (child safety needs careful consideration here). The second is that the hotel doesn't provide children's bathrobes. Although they gave us plenty of extra towels, it would be even better if kids' bathrobes were available! Other than that, there's nothing else to complain about! For this price and this level of service, it's truly unbeatable!"

"Who would've thought Taicang was hiding such a great hotel? The location is excellent, with convenient transport links and beautiful scenery. It's nestled in the Rodenburg town, which has a fantastic design aesthetic. The staff are all incredibly welcoming and even gave us a free room upgrade. Both the hotel's interior and the rooms are spacious and bright; I particularly loved the blue and white ocean-themed decor. Breakfast offered a rich selection, with both Western and Chinese options available. You can also spend a leisurely afternoon sitting in the town square, watching the musical fountain and soaking up the sun. The German restaurants here are quite unique, and the Chinese food is also good. It's truly a wonderful spot for a vacation."

"The hotel is in an excellent location with convenient transportation and many dining and shopping options nearby. The room is clean and tidy, fully equipped, and the bed is comfortable and relaxing. The service staff is enthusiastic and responsive, which left a deep impression. The food in the restaurant is delicious and varied. Overall, it was a very satisfactory stay."

"The hotel is very easy to find with Wanda Plaza nearby and Dongsheng Plaza just opposite. The area is bustling with heavy traffic. The hotel has a spacious ground-level parking lot, but the underground parking is tiny. I circled the ground lot three times and the underground once before finally snagging a spot on the ground floor when a car pulled out. The hotel lobby is grand, and breakfast is served on the first floor. We were upgraded to an executive suite. There are six fast elevators. The room felt a bit dated and didn't have air conditioning. After contacting the front desk, they sent up a portable AC unit. The room was very large with a window, and the bathroom even had a bathtub. The shower was relatively small, the showerhead was too high and difficult to adjust, but the water got hot instantly."

"We were extremely satisfied with our stay. The room was very clean, spacious, carpeted, and quiet. The bedding was neat, and there was even a round table, perfect for situations like mine where I had to work overtime. The view was excellent, and we slept very well at night. They even provided a children's toothbrush, toothpaste, and slippers – a thoughtful touch. The room overlooked the city park, and the hotel's location was superb, surrounded by Wanda Plaza, museums, and art galleries. It was conveniently located within walking distance. The breakfast was also extremely satisfying – a plentiful and delicious buffet with both Chinese and American options. Our child didn't want to stay longer and insisted on checking out until the very last minute. The value for money was unbeatable. Both adults and children were very satisfied with our trip to Taicang. We will definitely come back when the weather cools down. No one asked for a good review; the hotel's cleanliness, service, sleep quality, and location were all impeccable. A good review is a must, and it truly deserves it. I hope the hotel continues to improve, and I will definitely stay here again next time."

"The hotel is very user-friendly. I was given a free upgrade. The service attitude is very good. The room is clean and tidy. The bedding is very white. It is safe and secure to use. The facilities are complete. The water pressure is very comfortable. Parking is also convenient. The location is excellent. The Civic Park and Wanda Plaza are very close. It is really nice. Upon arrival, Xiao Qiao proactively greeted me and warmly inquired about the hotel's facilities and nearby restaurants, even helping me upgrade my room. During check-in, Xiao Chen meticulously explained the room benefits, including breakfast hours and breakfast specials. In the evening, when I needed to borrow a charging cable, Xiao Lu quickly delivered it to me via robot after contacting the front desk, and thoughtfully provided an extra adapter. The entire process was swift, efficient, and thorough, without a hint of perfunctory service; it was genuine, considerate care that made my stay comfortable and reassuring."
