"The B&B's location is fantastic, offering breathtaking views. The owner is incredibly welcoming and helpful, always ready to answer any questions. The room was clean and tidy, with excellent hot water and a well-functioning air conditioner. It's super convenient for visiting both the Thousand-Layer Terraces viewpoint and the Golden Buddha Peak viewpoint. The breakfast rice noodles were delicious, and the dinner cooked by the owner was absolutely amazing. When we left, the owner even helped carry our luggage down the mountain – it was such a heartwarming gesture."

"A lovely place for staycation. It was so serene and the view, looking at the rice terraces, replenishes one’s soul and relaxes not just your eyes but your whole body. I love the position of the bath tub overlooking the rice terraces and the nearby osmanthus trees. Morning walk along the path and seeing the ready smile of the locals was sweet. The bed and pillow are comfy and clean. Had we stayed for more than 2 nights, I would have used the washing machine in our room 😉 We had our breakfast, not much options but filling, and dinner (not included in the booking fee and the food in the menu are freshly cooked once you order) at the hotel’s restaurant. The hotel staff are accommodating. They even helped us arrange a car to bring us to and from the hotel. Free use of traditional costume for pictorial."

"The property is conveniently located about 100 meters from the parking lot. The owner was incredibly friendly and even helped us find parking, securing a discount for us. Our room boasted amazing views, with one entire wall featuring a panoramic glass window. We were pleasantly surprised to discover smart home features, such as automatic toilets and curtains. The host also kindly provided complimentary breakfast and even shared tips on discounts at unique clothing stores further up the mountain. After our activities, we ended up having lunch there too. The prices were reasonable, and the food was delicious. Highly recommended!"

"Location: The hotel is situated in Jinfoding, one of the highest areas, very close to Observation Deck No. 3. My dad and I went to watch the sunrise early in the morning, and it only took a few minutes to get there. Rooms: We were traveling with family, including children and seniors, so we booked a two-bedroom, two-bathroom suite, which perfectly met our needs and made it easy to care for everyone. The rooms were spacious, very clean, and featured floor-to-ceiling windows with direct views of the terraced fields – the scenery was excellent. There was even an automatic mahjong table in the room, haha. Public Areas: The hotel has a new Chinese-style design, which is very tasteful. The first floor houses the restaurant and lobby, and the outdoor viewing platform is quite unique. Service: The owner was warm and hospitable. They contacted us multiple times via WeChat in advance to arrange pick-up and drop-off. Since it was the National Day holiday, there were many tourists going up the mountain. We drove ourselves and parked at the Dazhai car park, and the owner came down to pick us up. It was already quite late, so we pre-ordered our food on the way, and it was ready to eat as soon as we arrived at the hotel. The ingredients were excellent, and I particularly recommend the scrambled eggs – my child absolutely loved them. The owner also gave us some homemade rice wine. The service was thoughtful and attentive, and they took great care of our family, especially the children and seniors. Many thanks. Overall: Five-star review. "Had such a pleasant and memorable experience at this inn. The boss, Mr Yu, is super down to earth and sincere. He cooked super well too - taste is just nice, not too oily or salty. And all his ingredients are fresh from his farm, even the chickens and fishes. What a farm-to-table experience. As it is the low peak season now, he could sit down and have good chats with us. The room is huge, with an unblock mountain view. It’s also near to viewing point 2. There’s this cute inn dog who is so loyal. The room is well kept, with a balcony for you to sit and sip wine or tea. Note that there are insects because we are by the mountains but you could bring your own repellent. We slept well here. The driver, Mr Yang, who drove us up Long Ji also stayed at this inn. We asked that he drives us around for the three days we are here and send us back to Guilin city. His driving skill is very stable and he’s very well-versed with the mountain roads (as he’s a local). What can I say, this experience is simply too memorable. Human relationships forged is the magical part of travel. Would highly recommend you to come experience this inn for yourself (of course during the peak season, the boss might not have time to sit down for a chat). 在这民宿住了三天两晚，也是我们会记很久的回忆。余老板人很善良，也烧了一手好菜。食材都是新鲜的。房间搭理地很干净，我们住的很舒服。床是大床，阳台也很大。我们两个在那儿早上做瑜伽，听鸟叫声，简直太舒服了。看看老板烧菜，和嘟嘟（狗狗）玩，再和它去观景台看看。看杨师傅煮竹筒饭，煮笋，山上生活好惬意呀。这个人情味，回味无穷。"

"My husband and I spent three wonderful days at Qing Shan No. 1 Longji Courtyard during our vacation back home. The best thing about this guesthouse is its incredible warmth, just like being at home! The owner and his mother make super delicious meals – healthy and tasty. We were here for hiking, and even after trekking over 20 kilometers a day, we resisted eating out because we absolutely had to come back here for dinner. It was just too good! The rice wine they make is also very fragrant and sweet."

"The hotel is situated really nice in the village and the view from the room is good, it is possible to see the rice terraces; the only downside is the tree blocking partly the view on the terraces. The village itself is very quiet, many hotels/restaurants closed down during/after covid, and it was really different compared to the vibrant life we saw back in 2017 when we also visited this village. The room was basic but really nice and clean and the bed comfortable. The owners do not speak English, but were super friendly and helpful. They arranged transfers from/to the airport, were happy to give us tips about the surroundings and made sure we always had enough hot&cold drinking water. The dinner (which you can buy from the menu) was ok, but there are better restaurants in town. The free breakfast was very simple. All in all we had a nice stay at this hotel."

"The room's location is great, and if you're traveling with elderly or children, you can enjoy the beautiful view from the balcony. The walk from the hotel entrance to Jinfoding (Golden Buddha Peak) is about 1.5 kilometers round trip, a short climb up the mountain. During National Day, peak season, driving to the Dazhai parking lot is difficult. There's a shuttle bus to the bus stop midway, then a 20-minute walk along the pedestrian path to the Dazhai parking lot. The owner will then pick you up by car and take you into the village. For meals, simply order from the hotel's first floor. The prices are reasonable and the food is delicious. The complimentary pot of glutinous rice wine was very refreshing."

"Our arrival to the village was a bit difficult and we might have been a tad grumpy after having to climb up 20minutes vertically from the bus stop to the hotel with our 2 heavy suitcases, but immediately upon arrival our mood took a 360 shift. The owner was super friendly and told us that he even tried to reach us to pick us up by car but couldn’t due to our international number. We then got a room upgrade and he showed us where we can head out to see the first sights. We originally planned to stay only 1 night, but ended up loving our stay so much that we stayed an extra evening. We had a very nice European breakfast on the hotel’s beautiful view and made friends with the local cat. All the hikes and cultural experiences around were amazing, we especially liked the Dazhai-Ping’an hike, with so many amazing sights and views along the road. Was probably the most relaxing and enjoyable 3 days in our 3 week trip in south China. At the end of our stay the owner drove us down to the bus. We would absolutely love to come back and spend a full week here in any other season."
