"After getting off the high-speed train, it's just a short walk to the hotel, and I could also easily walk to the high-speed train station for check-out, which was super convenient. The biggest advantage was its proximity to Longmen Grottoes and the park by taxi, allowing us to be among the first to enter the scenic area and perfectly avoid the crowds. The room was clean and quiet. In the evening, after a tiring day of sightseeing, there was congee available, and in the afternoon, complimentary flower tea and coffee were offered, providing a great opportunity to relax and unwind."

"The room was incredibly clean and hygienic. The front desk staff were exceptionally friendly and enthusiastic, especially the young lady. They even offer a complimentary shuttle service to and from Longmen High-Speed Rail Station. There's coffee and snacks available at the front desk. The surrounding area is also very nice, convenient, and transportation is easily accessible. The breakfast selection was quite rich too. Overall, it offers excellent value for money. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit."

"Location: Very convenient, with the subway right outside the hotel and plenty of dining options nearby. The surrounding area is very pleasant. Room: The larger room types can accommodate a queen bed and a single bed, which is great for families. The room decor is simple but the facilities are convenient, especially the well-designed bathroom and shower area. Contrary to what I read online, I didn't find the shower pressure to be weak at all. Service and Hygiene: The service was very prompt. The extra duvet I requested in advance was already in the room when we arrived. Mineral water was freely available in the elevator area, and laundry detergent was also provided – these are all very thoughtful details. The cleanliness was also excellent. Breakfast: Breakfast starts at 6:30 AM, half an hour earlier than most hotels, which is very accommodating for guests heading to attractions early or catching an early high-speed train. The breakfast selection was also quite varied and the quality was good. Overall, I highly recommend it. Even during a short holiday, it offers good value for money and is worth staying at. Two minor suggestions: Firstly, the room lighting is controlled by a single switch. It would be helpful if it could be differentiated slightly, as having all the lights on at once can be a bit wasteful sometimes. Secondly, it would be great if some folding drying racks could be provided."

"Not very satisfied, the experience was really bad. And they couldn't even fix the bad experience, so I just had to put up with it 😂. I checked in on March 27th. The highest temperature was around 24 degrees Celsius, and it was about 9 or 10 degrees at night, but this hotel was so hot. I woke up around 2 AM because of the heat and couldn't get back to sleep. I had to open both windows to sleep because they don't have individual air conditioning; it's a centralized heating and cooling system. It was a bit better with the windows open, but still very hot because the room wasn't very airy. It was also noisy with the windows open, so I had to sleep with earplugs. I couldn't get good sleep and woke up again around 5 AM when it got light and there were more cars. A really terrible experience. This hotel is probably only suitable for when the centralized cooling or heating is actually needed. I changed hotels the very next day. Glad I only booked for one night."

"GaLa Homestay is located right inside Lijing Gate, and stepping out, you're immediately on the snack street – super convenient! The owners are incredibly nice and friendly. They also have adorable pets, a dog named Cola and a cat named Fanta, who are very affectionate. The complimentary cocktail from GaLa Pub was also delicious! Although the homestay is within the scenic area, it's a quiet oasis amidst the hustle and bustle. The decor is very cozy, and the hygiene is excellent. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit Luoyang!"

"The room was very clean, and the bedding was comfortable. The separate shower and sink area was convenient to use, and the breakfast was plentiful and delicious. There's parking available on-site, which is very convenient. The hotel's location is excellent, just a short walk to Mingtang and Yingtian Gate. We even received a complimentary flower cake as a souvenir when we checked out, which was a lovely touch. Very satisfied!"

Environment: Choosing Mercure was absolutely the right decision. Service: Both the front desk and the housekeeping staff were enthusiastic and greeted me warmly. I recommend to use taxi for all your journey in Louyang. The room is spacious. It has all the necessities. There are so many shops near by the hotel.
