"The Wusi Youth Hostel has an amazing location – just a five-minute walk to Xigong Xiaojie for delicious snacks. The rooms are clean, and the beds have privacy curtains. There's plenty of hot water. The front desk staff are super helpful with travel tips and food recommendations. The common areas have great recreational facilities. It's fantastic value for money, especially for solo travelers. Definitely my top choice when visiting Luoyang."

"The location is excellent, right near the North Gate of Luoyi Ancient City. The hotel environment is great overall, and it's very clean. It's quiet at night, so you can get a good rest. Plus, the subway station is just a few hundred meters away, which is super convenient for getting around to other places."

"The hotel boasts an excellent location, conveniently close to a metro/train station, making transportation incredibly easy. Both the lobby and guest rooms are stylishly minimalist yet grand. The rooms themselves are spacious with a practical layout. The bathroom features a separate wet and dry area, and the hot water supply is consistently good, with quality toiletries provided. The staff were polite and efficient during check-in and check-out. Overall, it was a great experience."

"This hostel is located right on the main intersection, very close to Luoyi Ancient City. It's about three kilometers from Yingtiangate, Tiantang, Mingtang, and Jiuzhouchi. There are shared electric bikes everywhere in Luoyang, so you don't even need to take a taxi. The room layout is sensible, clean, and tidy, with no stains on the sheets or duvet covers – perfectly adequate for a backpacker like me. I gave the service 2.5 stars, and it's not because all the front desk staff were unsatisfactory. I checked in on May 16th, originally planning to stay only one night, but my travel plans changed, so I decided to stay an extra day. The staff member on the 16th, within her authority, gave me a discount of about ten yuan for the 17th, which I really appreciated. After two days of exploring, I still hadn't had enough and decided to stay another night. However, the staff member around 6 PM on the 17th was quite poor. She was dismissive and clearly impatient with my questions, which immediately made me decide not to extend my stay. I moved to a hostel near the Luoyang Bus Station. When you're traveling, you're looking for enjoyment; there's no need to put up with bad attitudes, especially when you're paying for it. Overall, I still recommend this hostel. Another thing worth mentioning is that there are many small local eateries directly opposite the hostel. The tofu soup in the picture is excellent; the tofu soup with shredded flatbread is incredibly delicious. The tofu soup is six yuan, and the shredded flatbread is one yuan – enough even for a big eater. If you're not that hungry, just one bowl of tofu soup is plenty. Everyone should go and try it! The braised noodles in the other picture are also from this small street and taste great too."

"Staying at Mo Wen Youth Hostel far exceeded my expectations! The environment is quiet and elegant, and the name itself sounds poetic, but in reality, it's a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle. The facilities are excellent; the independent power outlets and reading lights by the bed are super thoughtful, and the common areas are spacious and comfortable. The cleanliness deserves a special mention – bedding is changed for every guest, the bathrooms are odor-free, and the common areas are always kept tidy. The service is warm and attentive; the host (Dàshū) was incredibly responsive to all requests and even helped plan my itinerary. The best part is the atmosphere; it feels as comfortable as home, with travelers from all corners of the world sitting around, chatting, and sharing stories and laughter. Highly recommended, I'll definitely be back!"

"The hotel isn't too far off the main road, and the lobby is really clean and smells great. The flowers by the entrance are lovely too! The room itself was clean and tidy, and the service was good. It's next to a residential area, so it's pretty quiet. Just a heads-up, there's no elevator, and the shower pressure isn't very strong."

"Location & Facilities: This guesthouse is located in an old residential area, tucked away in an alley which made it a little hard to find. During the day, there's quite a bit of foot traffic from local residents, and driving into the alley can be tricky. However, you can park at the alley entrance and walk for about two to three minutes to reach the guesthouse, so it's still quite convenient. The main gate has an electronic lock, and you can only open it with your room card after dark, which made us feel very secure. Free parking nearby is a bit 'wild west' – basically just parking along the side of the alley. If you're worried about scratches or inconvenience, there are also paid parking lots nearby; 5 yuan for overnight parking is a reasonable price, I think. Being in the old city, the guesthouse is very close to attractions like Luoyi Ancient City and other bustling areas. Grabbing a shared e-scooter, you can reach all sorts of delicious food within about ten minutes, making it super convenient for eating and exploring. Service: The owner, a very enthusiastic gentleman, called us right after we booked to confirm if we needed a parking space. After checking in, he recommended many local eateries. We basically followed his recommendations for most of our two or three days in Luoyang, and everything was authentic and affordable! I have to say, the owner’s recommendations as a local were truly authentic; he had our breakfast, lunch, and dinner plans perfectly sorted. Since we rented a car, we'd tell him roughly when we'd return to the guesthouse, and he'd help confirm a parking spot in advance, so we could park directly near the guesthouse upon arrival. He always has a cheerful smile, and when we bumped into him heading out, he'd actively ask how our day was going and how we liked the restaurants he recommended. Overall, he made us feel right at home, very comfortable! Hygienics: The entire guesthouse was impeccably maintained by the owner. Our room was clean and tidy, making for a very comfortable stay. The bathroom had no unpleasant smells, and the hot water for showers was great and convenient, with no drainage issues. They also provided disposable bath towels and face towels, which was a nice touch. The mattress was incredibly comfortable; combined with all the delicious food in Luoyang, we pretty much crashed as soon as we got back to the guesthouse and slept like logs, haha. No wonder previous reviews mentioned feeling like they were staying in a five-star hotel. Overall, the stay was an excellent experience! I highly recommend this guesthouse to everyone! It's been three or four days since we returned from Luoyang, and I just remembered I had to leave a big positive review for the owner! The value of a retrospective review speaks for itself. Please support the owner's business! Staying in such a comfortable guesthouse made our trip to Luoyang even more enjoyable! I've attached a few photos of the local food recommended by the owner and some Luoyang peonies."

"Check-in was super convenient, and the hotel felt very secure with its coded gate. The place was spotless, really clean and tidy. The B&B is in hotel style, very satisfactory, and the location is very good, very close to Yingtianmen! Makeup is so convenient! The room is also very clean, breaking the impression of B&B haha There is no elevator, but I see that there are old houses around that have been converted into B&Bs, and none of them have elevators, so I can accept that there is no elevator, after all, it is very close to the scenic spot You can tell from the details of the homestay that the owner has carefully arranged it. The service is also very good. When we checked out, he saw us taking our luggage downstairs and ran up to help us get it. Mineral water is free of charge. The disposables are also of high quality. The mattress is very comfortable. I am very satisfied overall and highly recommended.

Haiyou Hotel Longmen Station Branch was truly fantastic; I was so lucky to stay here during this trip. The hotel was exceptionally clean, the bed was very comfortable, the hot water was plentiful for showering at night, and there was absolutely no smell of smoke in the room. In particular, the receptionist, Xiao Wang, was incredibly welcoming. He not only recommended the delicious local San Dan mutton soup but also proactively helped us contact a tour group when we couldn't book tickets for Laojun Mountain online, ensuring we could successfully visit the mountain. His service was exceptionally thoughtful and attentive!

The front desk lady was super enthusiastic, answering all my questions about tourist routes and local food. The staff were also very kind; due to my itinerary, I booked separate stays at the hotel. Two days after checking out, I came back to store my luggage, and they happily helped me. The hotel offers great value for money, with affordable prices and a quiet atmosphere. It's so much better than the second hotel I stayed at, and even cheaper! The hotel I originally planned to stay at for my trip turned out to be a total disappointment.

Traveling to Luoyang, this Lijingmen B&B made me experience the whole process! 📍 The location is excellent, just in the core of the old city, close to the Lijingmen City Building, within 10 minutes walk to Luoqi Ancient City and Yingtianmen, surrounded by authentic snacks, beef soup, water mats to eat casually. The environment of the homestay is elegant, the Chinese courtyard style, the small courtyard is super beautiful, the room is clean and odorless, the musk smells very good, the whole house is intelligent, and the details are attentive. The boss and the clerk are super caring, communicate in advance, take the initiative to help carry luggage, store items, and avoid the pit guide, as kind as friends. The price is full, the experience is far more than expected, and I will stay here next time I come to Luoyang!

First and foremost, the host and property manager were incredibly welcoming. We arrived at the complex just as the manager was inspecting rooms, and they even helped us carry our luggage – a definite thumbs-up! The apartment itself is spacious and bright, featuring three bedrooms and two bathrooms, all immaculately clean. The location is fantastic, situated right in the heart of the old town with excellent transport links. Luoyi Ancient City is just a short stroll downstairs, offering a variety of street food. Conveniently, the Luoyi Ancient City metro station (Line 1) is also just downstairs. You can take the metro one stop to Lijinmen, where you'll find Old Town Cross Street with all sorts of local snacks inside the city gate. The second stop is Yingtianmen, near the Tiantang, Mingtang, and Jiuzhouchi attractions, whose evening light shows are particularly stunning. We visited during the summer, so we unfortunately missed the famous Luoyang peonies; I'll have to return next April to see them. Luoyang is truly a city steeped in history, and I definitely plan to visit again!

We had a great experience staying in the room type with two large beds and one bunker bed. We booked this room kinda expecting the bunker bed to excite our 4 and 7 yo and it definitely proved so. Room is clean, AC is great. The breakfast (made free with a trip.com promotion) is quite a treat. Even some might prefer hot coffee but honestly I cannot complain much with the offer of a hard boiled egg, two potstickers, one pcs of corn, millet congee, etc. The staffs are all responsive and ready to help with request like additional towels/bottled water/breakfast food. The owners had a friendly puppy called “fanfan”on site too. At the end of our trip one of the co-owners used his motorcycles to carry a heavy suitcase to the place we booked our taxi and as we can see they ride people to metro station as well. The location is just a short (maybe 100m) walk from the South Gate of Luoyi Ancient City. We took a night walking into Luoyi Ancient City from the north gate after eating dinner in one of the busiest places known for its street food and getting out of South Gate knowing the hotel is just minutes away. Would definitely recommend this one to others who want to stay near Luoyi Ancient City area.

I would recommend this place. The place is clean and comfort. Most importantly, the host is very helpful love her hospitality and understanding. Good point. 1. Less than 5mins walk to Longmen Grottoes. 2. Not far or expensive if to grab a taxi to nearest metro station Balitang. 3. Clean, comfort, modern room setup with sufficient plug points with USB to easy charging. 4. The water heater is ok, just wait for 1 or 2min for it to get warm all good. 5. Room that has actual towel, and not disposable is real comfort. 6. U can ask and pay for breakfast, at 10rmb the reception. Staff will takeaway and send to your room in the morning. 3 menu for selection. Realy good enough. 7. Reception also has, affordable rate and experience driver to some nearby places, Shaolin Temple. Note: Laozun mountain not for foreign tourist. Very honest driver as they are reliable from the hotel. 8. If you stayed more than 2 nights get a free 1 way to Luoyang Longmen railway station. 9. The room design is new and has all the basic amenities. 10. Glad to made the choice for a stay here, highly recommends to stay here and wishing the owner continue good business.

This hotel was an amazing find for our trip to Luoyang! The location is absolutely perfect; it's right on Shizi Street, and just a few minutes' walk to Luoyi Old City, Yingtianmen, Mingtang, and Tiantang. It was so convenient to walk back to our room after enjoying the light show at night. Plus, there are tons of local snacks all around. The room was spotlessly clean, and the bedding and bathroom were fresh and odor-free. The decor has a fantastic Tang Dynasty historical vibe, and the soft furnishings really capture Luoyang's unique style. It's incredibly photogenic! We had a comfortable and worry-free stay. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Luoyang!

This is a great place for a tourist. The price and environment are very good. It's next to the train station and the transportation is very convenient. There are buses from the train station to Longmen Grottoes and White Horse Temple. The lady at the front desk was very warm. She was worried that I might not be wearing enough clothes because of the temperature drop in Luoyang. I recommend staying here.
