"I booked this hotel to catch an early morning high-speed train from Longmen Station the next day. It's very close to the high-speed rail station as the crow flies, but there's no direct access, so you have to walk around, which takes about 15 minutes. The commercial area nearby still seems undeveloped. The hotel itself is very new, and the facilities and breakfast are both excellent. I arrived at night and forgot to take photos of the hotel."

"The location is incredibly convenient. From Luoyang Ancient City Metro Station Exit A1, turn right, go into Wenhua Street, then turn right again (at the Eye Hospital), and their parking lot is about 100 meters away. From the main entrance, Luoyi Ancient City is just a 3-5 minute walk to the left. All the staff are very friendly and approachable! You even get a souvenir when you check in and check out! The hotel itself is also beautiful! I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Luoyang, and I'll be recommending it to my friends and family."

"I've stayed at three hotels in Luoyang, and this one offered the worst value for money.
Nothing was offered upon check-in. During check-out, the front desk staff was overly enthusiastic, offering a small gift (a few pastries). As soon as I thanked her, she immediately asked us to give a 5-star review on the spot. I said I'd review it later, but she insisted we do it immediately, explaining it was for a performance assessment by her supervisor. I really disliked this. It makes me wonder if their high ratings are gamed this way.
The room rate was over 500 RMB, much more expensive than Zhongzhou Hotel just a few hundred meters away, and even pricier than the 5-star Dongshan Hotel. I had expected something premium, but it felt more like an unsophisticated guesthouse. The other two hotels were cheaper but offered more professional and warmer service, plus complimentary fruit and snacks.

😀 Pros:
1. The quality of the in-room amenities was quite good. The slippers, made of cotton and linen, were very comfortable; I even kept them to use at subsequent hotels.
2. The bathroom had a good wet/dry separation. Having a laundry room with a dryer was very convenient.
3. The buffet breakfast was delicious.
😩 Cons:
1. The soundproofing in the room was extremely poor. The family next door woke up before 6 AM, and I could clearly hear their conversations, even their yawns. The staff's attitude wasn't exactly warm; they got the job done but lacked a genuinely professional and welcoming demeanor. When we checked in with two children, they didn't offer extra slippers or toothbrushes. This wasn't a huge issue, as we had brought our own, but this indifference, especially when contrasted with the forced 'enthusiasm' at check-out, was off-putting.
2. I'm not sure if it was just the layout, but the family room felt cramped and had a strange configuration.
3. The decor wasn't grand or tasteful, which wasn't to my liking."

"I rarely write reviews, but this was my first time in Luoyang. After looking at many hotels and guesthouses, I ultimately decided on Fengye with some hesitation. However, I was genuinely not disappointed! The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, the elevators were efficient, and the room amenities were also very new. The location is absolutely unbeatable – it's only a few minutes' walk from Jiefang Road subway station, at the intersection of two subway lines, making it incredibly convenient to get anywhere. There's a shopping mall right downstairs, placing it firmly in the city center. I'll definitely stay here again!"

This hotel truly exceeded my expectations. Everything was impeccably clean — from the rooms to the common areas. The reception team and service staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with any questions or requests I had.
The location is ideal — right in the heart of Luoyang and just a short walk from the metro, which made exploring the city super easy and stress-free.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, directly opposite a popular 'internet-famous' snack street, featuring renowned eateries like Xiaojie Guotie and Xiaojie Tianfu. It's also incredibly convenient, just about a 3-minute walk from the subway station. The Tianzi Jialiu Museum is just diagonally opposite, and for those looking to explore, the 'internet-famous' Yingtianmen scenic area is a mere 15-minute walk to the right from the hotel entrance, very close to Tiantang Mingtang.
The hotel's unique decor, with its charming retro style, is matched by its incredibly enthusiastic service. The security guard at the entrance was exceptionally helpful, assisting with parking guidance and luggage. The front desk staff were efficient during check-in and patiently explained the local area, offering invaluable tips on navigating nearby tourist attractions and avoiding common tourist traps.
Our room was spacious and bright, featuring incredibly comfortable bedding and convenient smart room amenities. The housekeeping staff were also proactively helpful with cleaning.
Breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety, including a delicious local specialty beef soup that was incredibly flavorful. The restaurant staff and chefs were equally enthusiastic and friendly. The afternoon tea was also impressive, with freshly ground coffee, a selection of Haibi (a local Luoyang drink available in many flavors), and delightful small snacks and exquisite mini cakes – all fantastic.
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone I know."

"It was my first time staying at Orange Hotel, and the experience was beyond my expectations. Both the lobby and the room are bright orange, giving people a warm and comfortable feeling. The room has everything you need, including a large-screen TV, automatic curtains, a dry and wet separated toilet and bathroom, and a large table for eating, which is much better than many hotels that only have a small round table. You can order your favorite takeout, and the cute delivery robot will deliver it to your door and playfully ask you for a good review. The hotel service is excellent, the service staff are very friendly and kind, and they gave us a small gift when we checked in. The hotel has a gym and a self-service laundry room. Luggage that needs to be stored can also be placed in the luggage lockers. You can store and access luggage by swiping your ID card, which is very convenient. The breakfast is also good. Although it is not particularly rich, it has all the necessary categories, and different dishes are updated every day.
Because it is an orange-themed hotel, many things are inseparable from oranges. There are free oranges and orange juice for guests to try in the lobby. The shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and even the toothpaste in the room are all orange-flavored. If you don't like orange flavor, you'll need to prepare these things yourself.
The location of this hotel is also very good, not far from Luoyi Ancient City and Lijing Gate. It is a hotel with good value for money and I recommend everyone to stay."

You can get there by bike or electric bike. There is a subway station one kilometer away. It takes 7 stops to reach Longmen High-speed Railway Station. Not far from Xigong Street is Xiaojie Tianfu and other restaurants. It is very convenient to eat. The best thing is that there are two single beds and a bunk bed in the room, which is very friendly for a family of 3 or 4 people. The bathroom is very flush! It is very comfortable to take a shower. The best thing is the lighting system. The interface is simple and easy to operate. Unlike some hotels, you have to press this and that for a long time. There is a voice-controlled sensor light at the door of the bathroom, which is very convenient for people like me who get up at night. My absolute favorite feature was the rocking chair on the room's balcony, where I loved to unwind and just 'zone out' every day. NNicDThis is a very nice hotel which is great value for money. The location is great, just around the corner from a large mall (Wangfujing) and lots of restaurants nearby. I especially recommend the little place with 'Chinese Hamburger' on the sign on the road behind the hotel building - they have an English menu and do great roujiamo - they even have a vegetarian 'sujiamo'! We got an upgrade on check in and the room was spacious and comfortable. The cleaners and reception staff were generally polite and helpful. The breakfast was Chinese but was fresh, different every day, and any food that ran out at busy times was always quickly replenished. The free laundry was very convenient and the machines were easy to use. We did have two issues which made staying there a bit inconvenient though. The first was that when the underground car park was full cars could no longer get past the barrier, meaning they couldn't drive up to reception. This was a problem since the road outside was flooded and meant that we had to load and unload suitcases while standing in deep puddles in the pouring rain. The second issue was the keycards: every day we would come back to our room and the keycard wouldn't work. We complained at reception every single day about this issue but it was never resolved.

GGuest UserA wonderful experience, the staff were very helpful and treated us like guests in their home. The breakfast buffet was really enjoyable and all local products with the soups being a highlight. The bed was very comfortable and we were given an early check in and free room upgrade. The reception staff helped us to book the shaolin temple and longmen grottoes, which was useful as its not always easy to book online with wechat or trip.com.

GGuest UserThe service was excellent. I arrived just after 9 AM, and they were able to check me in right away, several hours ahead of schedule. The evening congee was also quite good. The laundry service was also excellent; even though it's officially self-service, if you leave your dirty clothes in the laundry room, the staff will proactively wash, dry, and return them to your room. The location is also great; in the evening, you can take a 5-minute walk to Peony Bridge to admire the night view of the Luo River.

GGuest UserDespite my younger brother's strong recommendation, I usually lean towards Huazhu Group hotels (I've been a loyal customer since Hanting, then Ji, Orange, and Crystal Orange first opened). Every guest has different expectations, and no hotel can cater to all. This was my first time staying at Atour, and while it certainly has its pros and cons (which many others have already pointed out), I'd like to share my personal experience.
1. Upon check-in, four of us were checking in, but only two welcome drinks were offered, which was a bit disappointing.
2. Being used to Ji and Orange hotels, I habitually asked if breakfast was complimentary. The answer was no; it was over 300 RMB for four people daily, discounted to a little over 200 RMB. As we were staying for three days, tended to wake up late, and ate lightly, we decided against it. The staff member processing our request gave us a rather disdainful look (though I might be overthinking it). In fairness, we didn't even partake in the complimentary evening porridge, so we're not ones to take something just because it's free. (chuckle)
3. I actually came with the intention of experiencing the hotel's bedding and perhaps buying some pillows to take home, but the soundproofing was so poor that I didn't get a single good night's sleep.
4. We woke up late and bought mung bean porridge and fried dough sticks from outside. With no small dining table available, we had to eat on the bed, which was quite uncomfortable.
5. The hotel didn't inform us about any of its amenities or services. For instance, they had a chain coffee brand available, yet we spent a considerable amount of time searching for one outside. We also had no idea about the fruit-infused tea that was tucked away behind the lobby.
6. The TV and movie features were quite substandard. While I could overlook the fact that international access didn't work, even casting from domestic phones was impossible.
7. Water stains on the bathroom vanity couldn't be wiped away with the hotel towels; we had to resort to using tissue paper. The sink itself could also use an upgrade or replacement.

Yaoyao at the front desk is very good. Smiling service. The hotel is very conveniently located. It is very close to the cross street of Yingtianmen Luoyi Ancient City. It is really comparable to a five-star hotel. The service is excellent. I really recommend everyone to come.

GGuest UserThe front desk clerk has good professional quality and service attitude. The room was upgraded and breakfast was given. Parking is convenient. It takes less than 10 yuan to take a taxi to Lijingmen, Yingtianmen, and Shizijie... It is less than 1000 meters to Zhuangyuanhong restaurant. Most of the scenic spots were visited mainly to see peonies. The front desk clerk also helped to recommend. I have been to Luoyang several times and stayed for two nights this time. The facilities are complete and comfortable.

GGuest UserWe recently stayed at a hotel near the Yongmen Grottoes and had an amazing experience. The receptionist , Ms Chang Ming Ming was incredibly helpful, going above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. She was so kind and help us with online wechat booking of the tickets to the Yongmen grottoes, saving us the time to queue at the ticket counter.
The breakfast was simply sumptuous (Chinese breasfast) - worth every bit of the 40 Yuan! . I especially appreciated the freshness and quality of the food.
The cleanliness of the hotel was outstanding. Every corner was spotless, and the room was impeccably maintained, which made for a relaxing and pleasant stay.
Additionally, the location couldn't be more convenient. The hotel is just a five-minute walk to the Yongmen Grottoes entrance making it perfect for anyone planning to explore this beautiful historic site.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. It's the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and excellent service!
Tips - please call ahead for location of the hotel as taxi is not allow to enter the area close to Yongmen Grottoes and the hotel will pick you up frm nearest drop off
