"I was in Quanzhou for two days and arrived quite late. The front desk staff, Xiao Feng, called in advance to confirm my check-in. When I arrived, they even helped upgrade my bed type. The service was excellent overall. I'm very satisfied. I'll book here again if I'm in the area."

"This is a new hotel, and the service is quite good. The rooms are very clean, with modern facilities and a minimalist design. The unique sail-like design also considers privacy and allows you to use your phone without being disturbed. The front desk service was excellent, very clear with their explanations. The complimentary coffee from the voucher was also very tasty, and the staff kept everything very clean. As for the downsides: the window sill in the room is too wide, I almost tripped. The basin faucet, while aesthetically pleasing, isn't very practical and you could easily bump into it. Also, if the shower door is open, there isn't enough space to use the sink. It feels like the designer didn't quite think things through in those areas. Otherwise, everything else was good. The lobby is beautiful and great for photos, and the night view is also nice."

West Street and Kaiyuan Temple are just a short walk away, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the old town. The hotel service was exceptionally thoughtful and attentive; every evening, they'd prepare grass jelly or milk, which was a lovely, heartwarming detail. Since it was Mid-Autumn Festival, we even received complimentary mooncakes from the hotel, adding to the festive atmosphere. The room was quiet and comfortable, and overall, my stay was fantastic. This is definitely my top recommendation for anyone visiting Quanzhou's ancient city!"

"I arrived in Quanzhou just in time for the Dragon Boat Festival. It was hot and incredibly crowded. I'm so glad I discovered Yueyuan Xingdi right before my trip; it offered a unique perspective on Quanzhou's charm. This is Quanzhou's first hidden luxury resort, nestled in the heart of West Street, the core of this UNESCO World Heritage ancient city. It's also a hotel with a story. The classic Fujian red peeks through the lush greenery. Every step you take here is a beautiful sight. My favorite spot was the infinity pool, surrounded by plants. For a moment, I almost felt like I was on vacation in Europe. This hotel is truly a place you can settle into. In the morning, I joined the butler for a stroll to Kaiyuan Temple. Before the throngs of tourists arrived, this thousand-year-old temple was still peaceful and solemn. Upon returning to the hotel, breakfast was already prepared. The food was exquisite and abundant, and both the presentation and taste were excellent. I even got to try local traditional delicacies like Satay Noodles, Vinegar Pork, and Fried Rice Cakes. Besides swimming in the pool and enjoying cocktails, you can also experience Quanzhou's intangible cultural heritage with clip-and-carve porcelain art. The blend of modern and traditional is seamlessly executed. Returning to my room, the turndown service was complete, and a sweet goodnight dessert was promptly delivered. Soaking in a Five Elements bath, followed by a chilled, sweet osmanthus bird's nest drink, ensured a wonderful night's sleep. These are just a few of my moments at Yueyuan Xingdi. It's also a unique haven of hidden luxury and tranquility right in the center of Quanzhou's ancient city. The check-in experience was also superb. Ultimately, a good hotel captivates you with its details. When I first arrived on West Street, the butler was already waiting at the entrance. During check-in, I was presented with a handmade 'Forget-Me-Not' hairpin bracelet. You could even choose your room's fragrance. The room amenities also showcased numerous thoughtful details. The bedside retro speaker was a Tivoli Audio. The toiletries were Canadian LE LABO Santal 33. The mouthwash cups were handmade Luzerne from Singapore. The glass tumblers were German crystal from Lausitz. Dehua white porcelain was paired with Yongchun Foshou tea and Anxi Tieguanyin tea. The mini-bar was complimentary and very well-stocked. During my three-day, two-night stay in Quanzhou, I found myself hidden away in the bustling city, yet at peace in my own corner. The fatigue from continuous travel was thoroughly soothed by Yueyuan Xingdi."

"I chose InterContinental Hotels QUANZHOU by IHG for my trip to Quanzhou, as there weren't many good hotels near West Street. It's about a 20-minute taxi ride from West Street. The highlight is definitely the stunning views of the Jinjiang River and the Ferris wheel, especially the sparkling water during the day. I booked a river-view room. Room facilities: The room was quite spacious and the facilities were very new. They provided complimentary fruit, Mooncake lottery coupons, ice cream coupons, and drink coupons. Breakfast: On Mid-Autumn Festival, breakfast was served until 11 am. I recommend the Mianxian paste – it's a local specialty. Other options weren't very extensive, and the variety of snacks was limited. I would still choose to stay here again next time. Ms. Erin was particularly excellent! Thumbs up!"
