"My five-day stay at the Fairfield by Marriott Taishan Changdachang was absolutely perfect. The hotel's location is unbeatable; just downstairs, you'll find the Changdachang shopping center, offering a wide array of dining, entertainment, and easy access to transportation. The breakfast was different every day, with a rich and exquisite selection of both Chinese and Western options. The freshly made rice noodle rolls and noodles were a pure delight with every bite. The room itself was spotless, the bedding soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing and blackout curtains were excellent, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep every evening.
I especially want to thank the front desk team: Toby, Eva, and Janice. From Toby's efficient and thoughtful room upgrade at check-in, to Eva's warm and enthusiastic greetings and assistance with questions every time I entered or left, and finally to Janice's patient help with check-out procedures and detailed advice on local transportation before I left – all three receptionists consistently maintained professional and friendly smiles, making the entire stay incredibly pleasant. Without a doubt, this is the best hotel to stay at in Taishan, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit!"

"This was my first stay at this hotel, and I was pleasantly surprised when I entered the room – it was bigger than I expected. The room's layout and decor were very comfortable, with a minimalist yet cozy design. There was a large windowsill letting in plenty of light, and the wardrobe was spacious and convenient for hanging clothes. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and the shower was very roomy. The hotel also offered complimentary drinks and fruit.
A complimentary breakfast was included in the morning, and you could add an extra breakfast for 10 yuan. In the evening, the hotel provided a late-night snack service. However, there are also many dining options right downstairs from the hotel, and a McDonald's not far away, so you don't have to worry about food.
The staff were very gentle and pleasant to interact with.
The only minor issue was that the smart toilet was a bit too smart – the lid would close before I had even finished getting up."

"Got 2 rooms for 5 of us. The hotel is a little older but still have the modern features. Walking distance to the New Mall. The hotel restaurant food is very good. We loved the yellow eel rice and the veggies. We are from the states so we are not fan of the chicken as it seems to be a little chewy because they are cage free. A bit pricey on the food in the restaurant but worth it."

"The service was really poor. I specifically asked for a room not at the end or beginning of the hall, and they still made me argue for it, telling me to put it in the remarks next time. The pillows were too high, giving me a neck ache. The location is a bit out of the way. The room itself was okay, and everything else was fine. Parking was a hassle; I had to register at the front desk every time I wanted to go out, which was incredibly inconvenient just to grab a meal."

It's hygienic and tidy. The breakfast is OK. The noodles are delicious. The steamed dumplings are also good. Each public area has a certain school atmosphere. I like it very much and it tastes good. The private kitchen is delicious. It's not only unique but also delicious. The landlady is very polite. Features of the neighborhood are also introduced. I will stay here again in the future, the price/performance ratio is very good.

Anonymous UserFantastic hotel! I always stay at Ji Hotel 4.0 and 5.0 properties, and this one, as always, delivered excellent service. The front desk staff were very friendly and had lovely smiles. The laundry room was super efficient and got my clothes washed and dried promptly. I even saw an auntie cleaning the treadmills – 100% attention to detail! I'll definitely be back!

The hotel lobby is grand and well-maintained. The public areas are kept clean, and the front desk staff are warm and courteous. Check-in and check-out processes were efficient and smooth. The service was meticulous and thoughtful, and requests were attended to promptly. The guest rooms are spacious and bright, with soft and comfortable bedding. The soundproofing is good, and the bathroom facilities are complete with a stable hot water supply. The room has excellent natural light and ventilation, and all the essential amenities for a comfortable stay are provided.

We traveled all through Asia & this was the largest, nicest & the most reasonable of all!!
My sister stayed here many years ago in 2018 & recommended this place for myself & my cousins so that we can visit our family village which was 29 minutes away. We had an entire room for our shower & love the private bathroom! The front desk went out of our way to assist. The breakfast was plentiful & amazing!
Unfortunately I was sick in bed for 2 days, & the house maid quietly came in & emptied our 2 garbage cans & left us fresh towels while I was laying in bed. She may have cleaned our toilet also.
I already have recommended this place to my friends .

The room faces the sea, and you can enjoy the sea view and the coconut grove promenade from the balcony. The room is clean and the mattress is very comfortable. I had a good sleep! I stayed at Jinjiang Hotel on a business trip. It is very close to the highway exit and Taishan Station. There is a large free parking lot and charging stations. The hotel was newly renovated with a full set of new Chinese furniture and decorations. It has a bit of Southeast Asian style and is also very characteristic of the hometown of overseas Chinese. If you have time, take a walk around the area. There are many cultural and tourist check-in spots in the hometown of overseas Chinese. This hotel is highly recommended.

Although I have been to Shangchuan Island several times, the Guanrilou Hotel I stayed at this time was really the best experience. The hotel is located right in the middle of the beach. It is less than ten meters away from the beach😂👍. The boss is very enthusiastic and picked us up at the pier for free. The boss also sent us there for free on the last boat on the return trip. Thumbs up👍! The food and barbecue in the hotel are good value for money. I recommend friends who come here to stay here. You will not be disappointed🌈
