"My five-day stay at the Fairfield by Marriott Taishan Changdachang was absolutely perfect. The hotel's location is unbeatable; just downstairs, you'll find the Changdachang shopping center, offering a wide array of dining, entertainment, and easy access to transportation. The breakfast was different every day, with a rich and exquisite selection of both Chinese and Western options. The freshly made rice noodle rolls and noodles were a pure delight with every bite. The room itself was spotless, the bedding soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing and blackout curtains were excellent, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep every evening. I especially want to thank the front desk team: Toby, Eva, and Janice. From Toby's efficient and thoughtful room upgrade at check-in, to Eva's warm and enthusiastic greetings and assistance with questions every time I entered or left, and finally to Janice's patient help with check-out procedures and detailed advice on local transportation before I left – all three receptionists consistently maintained professional and friendly smiles, making the entire stay incredibly pleasant. Without a doubt, this is the best hotel to stay at in Taishan, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit!"

"The service was really poor. I specifically asked for a room not at the end or beginning of the hall, and they still made me argue for it, telling me to put it in the remarks next time. The pillows were too high, giving me a neck ache. The location is a bit out of the way. The room itself was okay, and everything else was fine. Parking was a hassle; I had to register at the front desk every time I wanted to go out, which was incredibly inconvenient just to grab a meal."

"This was my first stay at this hotel, and I was pleasantly surprised when I entered the room – it was bigger than I expected. The room's layout and decor were very comfortable, with a minimalist yet cozy design. There was a large windowsill letting in plenty of light, and the wardrobe was spacious and convenient for hanging clothes. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and the shower was very roomy. The hotel also offered complimentary drinks and fruit. A complimentary breakfast was included in the morning, and you could add an extra breakfast for 10 yuan. In the evening, the hotel provided a late-night snack service. However, there are also many dining options right downstairs from the hotel, and a McDonald's not far away, so you don't have to worry about food. The staff were very gentle and pleasant to interact with. The only minor issue was that the smart toilet was a bit too smart – the lid would close before I had even finished getting up."

"Got 2 rooms for 5 of us. The hotel is a little older but still have the modern features. Walking distance to the New Mall. The hotel restaurant food is very good. We loved the yellow eel rice and the veggies. We are from the states so we are not fan of the chicken as it seems to be a little chewy because they are cage free. A bit pricey on the food in the restaurant but worth it."

"I really like the geopark, this is my second time here. The hotel has been newly renovated, and the rooms are very spacious. We paid 128 for my child's admission ticket, and we didn't have to pay again for the extended stay, which was great. The front desk upgraded our room, which I really appreciate! The swimming pool is fantastic. Overall, it's a very good experience. The only downside is the breakfast; at 78 per person, there's not much variety, and it feels a bit overpriced. The security guards were quite impatient; they even complained about moving a cone and told guests not to park in the spots directly in front of the hotel. Despite that, I would still come back."

Our room had huge floor-to-ceiling windows with an amazing view – I loved relaxing on the sofa and scrolling on my phone. So, so relaxing! The front desk attendant was incredibly thoughtful and even upgraded our room, plus she told us about the outdoor pool on the second floor. 👍🏻👍🏻 It's the little details that show quality. Highly recommend… we'll definitely be back!"

"We traveled all through Asia & this was the largest, nicest & the most reasonable of all!! My sister stayed here many years ago in 2018 & recommended this place for myself & my cousins so that we can visit our family village which was 29 minutes away. We had an entire room for our shower & love the private bathroom! The front desk went out of our way to assist. The breakfast was plentiful & amazing! Unfortunately I was sick in bed for 2 days, & the house maid quietly came in & emptied our 2 garbage cans & left us fresh towels while I was laying in bed. She may have cleaned our toilet also. I already have recommended this place to my friends . Thank you !!!"

The hotel is ideally located in the Changdachang Plaza business district, surrounded by supermarkets and restaurants, making shopping and getting around very convenient. It's a quiet oasis amidst the hustle and bustle, with a clean and comfortable environment. The hotel lobby is grand and well-maintained. The public areas are kept clean, and the front desk staff are warm and courteous. Check-in and check-out processes were efficient and smooth. The service was meticulous and thoughtful, and requests were attended to promptly. The guest rooms are spacious and bright, with soft and comfortable bedding. The soundproofing is good, and the bathroom facilities are complete with a stable hot water supply. The room has excellent natural light and ventilation, and all the essential amenities for a comfortable stay are provided. The room was thoroughly cleaned, with attention to detail, creating a pleasant living atmosphere. The hotel's facilities are comprehensive, making it suitable for both business travelers and short-term stays. My only suggestion is for them to continue maintaining the quality of service and further optimize room details to enhance the guest experience.
