"We had a wonderful stay at the Ekadolli Nubian guesthouse. As we had to leave early, the host kindly prepared a take-away breakfast, which was very thoughtful. During our stay, we were also taken on a free tour of the Nubian village, giving us a great insight into local life and culture. We even had the chance to see crocodiles, which made the experience truly unique and memorable. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and we felt well looked after throughout our stay. Highly recommended for anyone wanting an authentic Nubian experience."

"Seeing the low rating, I expected the place to be quite run-down, but it was actually very good. The room wasn't new but it was clean, tidy, and comfortable, with a nice view. The restaurant, in particular, was excellent value for money; definitely order à la carte instead of the buffet."

"We had a nice stay, the Housekeeping staff are excellent. Towels in the bathroom need to get rid because it is old. Back of the bathroom door is a bit old and not cleaned. guest relation Christine was not helpful until I called reception and asked about her name. Reception staff need to be welcoming and friendly. Our TV didn’t have a signal since arrival, I had to call reception every day a few times to sort it out. It worked sometimes but was frustrating loosing signal while watching TV and have to ask reception to help. When it happened in the morning, I had to wait until 3pm when maintenance arrive. Also the screen was blurry. We had very good service in the restaurant .  the boat service is very good."

"I am really enjoying staying in this traditional Nubian house, the service is great! The owner always ready to help the guests ! The nubian room is clean and nice! And the traditional breakfast is very tasty! It’s located near the Nubian village so you can enjoy this ancient people close. I really recommend this house!"

"I recently stayed a few days at the Aswan Citymax Hotel, and here are my thoughts. First, the building and room interiors generally have an older feel. It's not flashy or equipped with the latest facilities, and the furniture and decor leaned towards a classic style. However, the impression of being dated didn't translate into discomfort. Rather, the calm, aged atmosphere felt quite charming. What I particularly liked was the cleanliness. The room floors, bedding, and bathroom were all meticulously maintained, with no visible dust or stains. The towels were fluffy and well-arranged, making for a pleasant stay. The breakfast was also impressive. While not extravagant or exceptionally delicious, the food wasn't heavily seasoned and had a mild flavor, making it easy to enjoy without feeling overwhelmed. The spice aromas weren't strong, making it suitable for breakfast. There was also a good selection of bread, fruits, and simple hot dishes, making it convenient to choose from. Personally, I prefer plain, unflavored tastes that aren't too sweet or salty, and if you share that preference, you'll likely be satisfied. The staff were friendly, and the check-in process was smooth. The accessibility to nearby attractions is also decent, making it a good value-for-money option if you're planning to tour Aswan. Initially, I was a bit concerned about the old exterior, but thanks to the immaculate upkeep, I felt comfortable throughout my stay. Overall, I was very satisfied with the hotel, to the point where I'd consider returning."

"I’m trying to write this review to be fair to everyone who wants to book this hotel, first of all the hotel wasn’t clear on which room I have booked even though I showed them my room details which is nile view but again never got the room i had to pay around 20 USD extra per day to get the nile view, second the location is odd and confusing even for locals especially if I order a ride I can’t get them to come to the hotel’s entrance, sometimes I had to walk up to them, yet after that the staff were nothing short of accommodating and super especially musa the receptionist and Mohammed the handyman, the food is so and so but ppl are accommodating and super."

"Okay, so the Basma Executive Club was really lovely. The service was genuinely great – everyone was so helpful and friendly, which made a big difference. The facilities were also top-notch. I especially enjoyed relaxing by the pool with its amazing view of the Nile, and the executive lounge was a nice perk. My room was comfortable and had a fantastic view too. Overall, it was a really pleasant and enjoyable stay in Aswan."

"Very new and clean hotel is the most comfortable I have stayed in Egypt for more than ten days because it is very quiet. A little French style. Air conditioning and bathing facilities are very comfortable. There will be no hot water. Location in Elephant Island. Check-in and check-out have a free shuttle boat. 15 Eton in and out of the island. Hefei traffic location is very convenient, nearby is the old waterfall hotel, recommended stay"

"This is a very contradictory B&B hotel that I don't know if it is worth recommending. Its shortcomings and advantages are very prominent. It is suitable for Internet celebrities to make photos (the following photos are all original photos without retouching), but it is not suitable for anyone who has certain requirements for ”accommodation” itself. If you can find any cheap + clean + similar scenery alternative hotel, it is recommended to change it, but if it is just for taking pictures and scenery, it may be ranked at the top in Nubian Village. First of all, you have to be able to tolerate: 1. The hotel price is not cost-effective in the peak season, and the B&B offers the price of a five-star hotel. 2. Poor room facilities, rough-style furniture and narrow rooms, worrying bed sheets, bathroom shower water overflowing and drainage is useless, no slippers, toothbrushes, hair dryers (phone front desk can provide). 3. The breakfast is self-service and extremely simple and unpalatable, unlike some people who commented on the set and inexplicably praised it. 4. Tolerate or pay more to continue to tolerate the complaints of the chartered driver to drive into Nubian Village, and then contact the hotel by yourself in the middle of the night to change to a three-wheeled motorcycle in the deserted and dark mountains for 15 minutes to doubt life and reach the mountaintop hotel. 5. Other prices are very unreasonable. We originally wanted to book dinner for the New Year's Eve party, but it cost 100 US dollars per person... What did we get here? 1. The balcony of the room can see the unbeatable sunrise on the west bank of the Nile. We witnessed the first light of 2025 here at 6 am. 2. The various poses in the cultural buildings of the Nubian Village are very photogenic. 3. The desert next to the hotel is very photogenic. 4. A very special cultural experience of a group of tourists jumping up and down the mountain in a row of three-wheeled vehicles. 5. The hotel service staff is relatively friendly. Finally, it is explained that Egypt is not a country where tipping is allowed. Carrying luggage is a basic service of any hotel in their country. No one asked for tips during the entire stay."

"Wonderful service - guard and porter at the front, efficient front desk, upgraded to a Nile room. Pool side was great with a view of the Nile, plenty of chairs and fresh towels,  although bar staff sometimes a little slow on drink and food refills this could be forgiven Buffet breakfast had a good selection including eggs made to order, staff very attentive Dinner selection was OK but again great service "
