The hotel is located in a Nubian village, and from the very first moment, you're immersed in its unhurried, serene life. It's incredibly quiet and peaceful here – you only hear the birds and the rustling of the wind over the Nile. The hotel is surprisingly clean. Despite its ethnic style, the housekeeping is impeccable – not a speck of dust or sand, even though we're in the desert. The rooms are huge, spacious, with high ceilings. Special thanks for the balcony – mornings started with coffee overlooking the river, and in the evenings we admired the sunsets. The hotel itself is incredibly colorful: bright Nubian colors, ornaments, and distinctive design – it's a feast for the eyes and creates a great mood. The common area is decorated with immense love – it's pleasant to sit there for hours, chatting or reading a book. But the main treasure of this hotel is the staff. Very, very friendly people, always ready to help. I especially want to mention the owner – he's a true host who cares for every guest as if they were family. It's interesting to talk to him; he'll tell you everything about the culture and give sound advice. And, of course, the food – that's a separate art form. Everything is incredibly delicious and very filling. The breakfasts were so hearty that we had enough energy until evening. Be sure to try their fresh juices and Nubian tea – it's divine, and the coffee is excellent too. The only nuance to consider is the internet. It's not the most powerful, but you certainly can't call it weak. We worked remotely, video calls went without serious issues, and email and messengers worked perfectly. So, it was perfectly adequate for remote work. I would return here with great pleasure. I wholeheartedly recommend it!"

"We had a wonderful stay at the Ekadolli Nubian guesthouse. As we had to leave early, the host kindly prepared a take-away breakfast, which was very thoughtful. During our stay, we were also taken on a free tour of the Nubian village, giving us a great insight into local life and culture. We even had the chance to see crocodiles, which made the experience truly unique and memorable. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and we felt well looked after throughout our stay. Highly recommended for anyone wanting an authentic Nubian experience."

"I loved Abu’s guesthouse, Abu himself would organize anything I needed during the stay, short trips, taxis, boats even in the night! He even made me his own organically grown moringa tea! The whole guesthouse is very clean, nice and Abu really puts all his money back into the house to make it better all the time! He has a beautiful sauna, and he can also organize for you sand sauna (which I would definitely recommend). Abu is a local, grew up on the island, and he is a great person to talk with about many interesting things. He can recommend to you what you could do while in Aswan. Abu simply makes you feel at home"

"It was a wonderful experience. The room was clean and well-equipped with all the basic amenities. It had air conditioning, a refrigerator, a refrigerator pot, soap, paper towels, mugs and tea, a small locker, hangers, and a blanket. The bathroom was also spacious and easy to use. The hotel is located about a two-minute walk from the ferry terminal. The island's roads are not well-maintained, so we don't recommend carrying a suitcase. There are two delicious restaurants nearby where you can have breakfast. The restaurant next to the ferry terminal also offers takeout. The ferry runs frequently and costs £15 per person. However, between midnight and 6am it costs £75 per person. Generally, there's nothing to worry about with the ferry. The owner was very kind and explained everything clearly at check-in. He also arranged an Abu Simbel Temple tour and airport transfers for us. If you're considering the Abu Simbel Temple tour, please note that regular tours may not include island transfers, so ask the owner if they can arrange one. Please note that unlike regular hotels, there is not always someone at the front desk."
