"Unexpectedly, my diving trip last year was interrupted by a typhoon, so I ended up staying at Moon Bay Resort. This year, I made sure to book a hotel closer to the pier, and I'm really pleased with it! It has a smoking area on the ground floor, a laundry room, and convenient luggage storage. Highly recommended! Also, I'd suggest checking out the barbecue restaurant nearby."

"An incredible hotel where everything within it: 2 swimming pools, an onsen, a konbini, a restaurant and a bar. All your needs will be filled. Great location as well with Naminoue shrine and beach nearby, and monorail around 15 by foot. But if you want to explore Okinawa further, plenty of bikes, and car rental around. And ferries to go to other islands. I will definitely come back to Okinawa and Sansui Naha hotel!"

"It is a relatively cheaper kind of resort hotel, still quite expensive, but was cheaper than the other big name hotels by the beach in the Onna area. Its also close by car to the Blue cave which was why I chose it. I got a bottom floor room so didn't really get a view (the 'garden' view) but there's a patio, but if you get the higher floors you should have a view of the beach and the ocean. The beach is just a few minutes walk through the little forest, and is a small private enclosed beach with a little reef, quite lovely. Can snorkel, but I only stayed close to the beach so didn't see that much in the water. The room is clean and spacious, but the decor is dated. There's also a little hotel restaurant which serves buffet breakfast, and they also sell snorkelling gear in the small lobby. It's more convenient if you drive to get there, but they do charge 1000 yen a day for parking, which I didn't really like."

"To be honest, when I first entered the lobby I was worried because it was not in the best state, and also the front desk located on the third floor looked really old. However, when I went into my room, it was very clean, smelled nice and comfortable, spacious and had essential amenities. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Also, the hotel is conveniently located literally adjacent to the Asato station which is super convenient. For the price, it was definitely worth it and I could see myself booking here again in the future. I’m a gym guy, so I was happy to know that about a 5 minute walk, there was a gym and so many stores to get snacks like family mart, 7-11 and Lawson and also a variety of restaurants to eat from."

"I chose this hotel for its affordability. Its location was convenient, a short ten-minute walk from public transportation, and a twenty-minute walk from the main street and beach. The triple room was simply furnished with white walls. The bed's position against the hallway wall was slightly inconvenient, but our room at the end of the hall was pleasantly quiet. Breakfast was somewhat limited and occasionally ran out, and the menu lacked variety after a few days. Parking was available in a nearby tower for 1500 yen, which was comparable to other local options. Overall, I found the hotel somewhat underwhelming due to the lack of amenities such as a gym or pool, and its somewhat impersonal atmosphere. Complimentary beverages were limited to black coffee."

"✅ The hotel is right at the entrance of Makishi Station, making its location absolutely superb. It's a 1-minute walk via an overhead bridge, so you barely even need to be in the sun – super convenient! ✅ Downstairs, there are two convenience stores and a large supermarket. All sorts of dining options are available nearby, with plenty of restaurants to choose from. One evening, we went to explore the big supermarket and found many discounted items. We bought sushi, rice balls, salad, yogurt, milk, and drinks – all very affordable. ✅ The room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Although the bathroom wasn't a three-piece separation, it didn't feel cramped, and all the toiletries were provided. ✅ From 1 PM to 9 PM daily, the lobby offers complimentary iced drinks, including coffee, tea, and juice. It was so refreshing to come back after a day out in the summer heat and grab a drink. ✅ Breakfast was plentiful. We specifically woke up early one day to enjoy it, and they even had takeaway service afterwards!"

"The service was genuinely excellent and very welcoming. However, the hotel itself felt quite dated. Given the very affordable price, I can certainly understand this. We found a musty smell in our initial room, and it only got better after we contacted the front desk to request a room change. The door lock was also old and a bit finicky; even the staff seemed to have trouble with it. There were no power outlets conveniently located near the bed, which was inconvenient for using my phone at night. The provided toiletries weren't very comprehensive – I was surprised to find no comb. On the positive side, the downstairs buffet was fantastic, and the shop offered great duty-free shopping. Overall, the low price definitely makes up for these small inconveniences."

"Although the room was compact, the layout was incredibly well-designed, and the Japanese-style decor made the most of every inch of space! The magical combination of a bathtub and shower in the bathroom was a pleasant surprise, even featuring a sauna function! The hotel's location is excellent; getting around is super convenient. Plus, there's a popular BBQ joint right next door that served the best meat I've ever tasted!"

"The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the Kencho-mae monorail station. There's a slight uphill section, but the pavement is smooth, so it's fine even with luggage. The hotel is new, and both the exterior and interior decor are modern and stylish, which left a great impression. It's within walking distance of supermarkets, convenience stores, and many restaurants. Getting back from other parts of the city by taxi is also quick. The room was very clean, and the bed in the king room was huge – I haven't seen such a large bed in Japan, it felt quite luxurious for one person. The hotel practices environmental protection by having showers instead of bathtubs, which I think is great. Plus, the shower room was much more spacious than what you typically find in Japanese hotels. The only issue with the room was that the desk was small, and there was no chair. It felt cramped when using a laptop; I had to sit on the edge of the bed. The hotel staff were very friendly and spoke fluent English. They were a great help when I needed to store my luggage, which I really appreciated. The bar next to the lobby on the first floor is open until 11:00 PM. Cocktails are around 1300 yen each, which is cheaper than many bars, and they're very well-made. I ordered one of the hotel's original cocktails, and it was definitely worth trying. The other downside was that the hotel restaurant was under renovation during my stay. When I booked, I'd read reviews and wanted to try the hotel's breakfast, but I couldn't. Overall, I still recommend it."

"It's a triple room with a sofa bed, very spacious and clean. Complimentary self-service tea and coffee are provided, and I didn't find the room to be as cramped as some other reviews suggested. The location is incredibly convenient. There's a FamilyMart convenience store just 10 meters downstairs, and Tsubogawa Monorail Station is only 20 meters away. I noticed quite a few ********* guests. I didn't try the breakfast, so I can't comment on it, but you can easily grab something from FamilyMart. There's a river right next to the property. Ounoyama Park is just across the bridge; the huge slide there is actually more convenient to reach by walking across the bridge than by taking the monorail. On my way, I even encountered a large crab, bigger than my fist!"
