Hotel near Kokusai Dori,Naha
A hybrid hotel combining cabins and a hotel. We pursue comfort and peace of mind that feels like home, in a place where business trips, solo travel, groups, families, shopping, and sightseeing can all be enjoyed. The cabins are functional and relaxing spaces designed for solo travelers. The hotel offers spacious rooms suitable for families. We also provide deluxe-type cabins and Japanese-style rooms.

"Excellent location, just a 3-minute walk to Kokusai Street, making it super convenient for dining and shopping. The single bed was clean and comfortable with no unpleasant odors, and came with a TV and air freshener. The private shower room was spacious and very comfortable to use. The front desk staff were friendly, and you can borrow locks to secure your luggage to the railings. Toiletries are freely available, and there's a washing machine which is very convenient. The lounge on the first floor offers complimentary hot tea and coffee. There's a Fukusuke Tamagoyaki and Okinawa Onigiri shop just a 1-2 minute walk away, and the hotel also offers a 700 JPY meal coupon for purchase."

"The location is great! It's within walking distance to Kokusai Street and Kenchomae Station. You can easily get around by monorail or bus, and there's even a bus that goes to the Churaumi Aquarium. The cafe downstairs offers affordable breakfast, and guests get a 50 yen discount. This cafe also doubles as a common area for guests, which was a major selling point for me as I needed access to a shared fridge. There were always enough restrooms and showers available; I never had to wait in line. The bed was comfortable, and the blackout curtain was excellent – it blocked out all light when pulled shut. I'm very satisfied with my stay."

"I went for a weekend kind of trip and the hotel was very pleasant they had complementary snacks and beverages which was amazing for the busy waking day we had. I recommend the place has a loft minimal vibe. The first night we had an issue with the AC but the stuff was nice enough to transfer us so that was great. Great location too not too far from the airport and can be reach by the metro rail or bus. If you stay longer I recommend renting a car but if you are here for a few days only, public transportation will take you anywhere. Walking distance to a few restaurant just be aware they might close early."

With a stay at Hotel Living Inn Kenchoumaeeki in Naha (Naha City Centre), you'll be a 4-minute walk from Kokusai-dori Shopping Street and 14 minutes by foot from Tomari Port. This hotel is 0.8 mi (1.2 km) from Naminoue Beach and 10.3 mi (16.6 km) from American Village. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Make yourself at home in one of the 9 individually decorated guestrooms. Complimentary wireless internet access is available to keep you connected.

"Highly recommend this hotel! It's practically perfect, the only minor downside being the slightly small size. First off, the location is fantastic – super convenient for food, drinks, and entertainment, yet still pretty quiet. Secondly, the facilities are excellent. It has an integrated bathroom (the smart toilet control panel being mounted on the wall is a thoughtful touch), a washing machine, dryer, and microwave – everything you could need. Finally, the service is great; the staff are really friendly. While there's no daily housekeeping and you have to bag your own trash and leave it by the door, I actually felt like my privacy was very respected. The only slight inconvenience was the lack of luggage storage, but there are paid luggage services available at the nearby monorail station and many shops, so it's manageable. I'd definitely choose this hotel again if I visit next time."

"This capsule hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk from Makishi Station, located within a shopping arcade, so you don't have to worry about rain. I stayed in a female 'b' room on the 4th floor, which is a women's-only floor with an elevator. The makeup and washroom area has hair dryers, and the environment is comfortable and clean. The bed is on the upper level, and the slanted ladder takes up some room space, making it a bit difficult to open luggage. You can push your luggage into a small room, and there's a locker with a password lock that can fit a 28-inch suitcase. The small room itself doesn't have a lock. There are three shower rooms and three toilets, and I never had to wait to shower at night or use the toilet in the morning. However, the shower rooms are quite cramped. The biggest problem was during my 4-night stay, the first 3 nights I had inconsiderate guests in the adjacent room. The partition between every two small rooms in this hotel is open at the top (I was in 415, and the next room was 406). I checked in on April 22nd and was woken up by loud noises from the adjacent room in the early morning for three consecutive nights (even though I was sleeping with headphones and music on). The 1st night: April 23rd, 12-1:30 am. The 2nd night: April 24th, 2-2:30 am. The 3rd night: April 25th, 5:30 am – all involved loud noises. Moreover, from the night of April 24th until 5:30 am on April 25th, the overhead light in the adjacent room was left on. The guest must not have returned and didn't turn off the light, and the light shone directly onto my bed. Even with a curtain, light still seeped into my bed, preventing me from getting a good night's sleep until she made a loud noise that woke me up at 5:30 am. After enduring two nights of disturbances, I complained to the staff on duty on the evening of April 24th, but received no response or solution. They said they couldn't enter the room to turn off the light, nor could they tell her that she was disturbing others. I have stayed in many capsule hotels and youth hostels, and in every one, the management reminds guests to minimize noise at night to avoid disturbing others, and they also post notices. Since their toilets have an automatic light-off system, why don't the room's overhead lights have a similar system to prevent guests from leaving them on and disturbing others? Also, why is the top of the partition between every two small rooms open? While opening the room to the corridor might be for air conditioning, opening room to room is a completely flawed design. They should add back partitions or curtains to minimize disturbance to others. This hotel completely neglects its guests, indulging them even if they disturb others. The room design also hasn't improved, significantly impacting the guest experience."

"1. Excellent location, just a 3-minute walk from Tsubogawa Monorail Station. 2. Front desk service hours are very short. If you need anything, you must ask for it or purchase it upon check-in on the first day, such as bath towels, hand towels, pots and pans, etc. 3. Convenience stores, restaurants, izakayas (Japanese pubs), and Don Quijote (with currency exchange machines) are nearby. 4. There is a parking lot, but it seems to be fully booked, with very few spaces… However, there are nearby parking lots, but remember to look for 24-hour metered parking, which is cheaper!"

"The hotel is very close to the beach above the wave. This is also the reason why I booked this hotel. It is not too far from the international pass. It can be walked to it. It is very convenient. In addition, we also rented a car. The hotel provides free parking. It is worthy of praise."

I was able to check in around noon as my room was already prepared! They quickly handed me the key and showed me around the facilities. There was plenty of space to open my suitcase, and I honestly didn't expect such a comfortable solo room stay for such a low price. It was a really pleasant trip. The hotel is only about a 5-minute walk from the station, making it super convenient for solo travelers without a car. I was also thrilled to find high-end beauty tools like Refa, Kinujo, and Repronizer for the hair iron and dryer – a dream for any beauty enthusiast! The water server and amenities, including toothbrushes, hairbands, hair ties, and combs, were all perfectly stocked. It was a bit intimidating to use the shared shower and living spaces on the same floor as men, but even with that, it's definitely a place I'd want to stay at again.

CABIN&HOTEL ReTIME

ReTime located just shy away from Asahibashi station and a perfect walking distance from KOKUSAI DORI shopping street, tourist spots and various supermarkets. The hotel offers capsule rooms, family rooms and a cabin themed room where you are assigned either a top or bottom bunk. You also receive free slippers and borrow sleepwear during your stay. The hotel also offers complimentary basic amenities such as toothbrush, comb, shower caps, razors if you need them. At the lobby, there’s a beautiful wooden set of keyed lockers to choose to put away your shoes upon entering the building. The common space is cleaned very frequently, almost every few hours (Japan's standards will make you rethink your definition of cleanliness) and where guests can eat and drink (water and additional soft drinks provided, there's also a vending machine with a nice selection of snacks). The space very pleasantly airy with lots of sun, and overall a nice place to work, snack or relax as the cabin and capsule rooms have no windows. I loved the creativity as you are essentially sharing a bunk bed with privacy that’s provided with a sliding screen door. It’s decent, with adequate room for luggage but few may struggle if the luggage is quite large as the aisle can be a bit narrow. This can be reflected from your neighbour next door at times~! I found overall it was very comfortable and I was assigned the top bunk during my long stay. The bed is clean, with complimentary cleaning on the 7th day (10am-3pm), and there’s a decent sized desk. The privacy of the cabin room is definitely the main highlight about ReTime if one wishes for privacy but reduced budget than a standard hotel room. A slight issue with this kind of arrangement is shutting the screen doors may end up being noisy (the screen door naturally reduces soundproofing). However having stayed for quite some time, I found the bed and room overall very comfortable and decently spaced. If I stayed longer, this would not be an issue as the bed was quite spacious personally. The shower option as opposed to the public onsen baths is much appreciated as 1) some women are not comfortable with the public baths, and 2) when that time of the month happens...this would reassure future guests planning to come to ReTime. The additional complimentary ammeties such as toner, cleanser and lotion were surpising and great to use also. Some crticisms regarding the stay: upon entering, I was told check in was at 4pm, which is quite later than average . I found a coin locker nearby but would have liked to be informed I could have stayed in the common area until check in if desired. It was a bit dissapointing as I could have saved a few hundred yen and energy after a flight. The washing machine instruction was unclear as the yellow button had to be pressed before scanning the touch bracelet, the step which is not in the images, and the staff member assisting was a bit rude (it likely shows the issue with this particular step had occurred many times). Perhaps putting some numbered stickers may help with step by step - especially turning that yellow button to green. Overall it’s a positive experience to recharge and stay long term, however I personally found that the service can be improved. Please note this is my own personal experience and I'm not affiliated or sponsored by ReTime. All photographs are taken by myself during the stay.

The hotel itself is okay, and the rooms are decent, but the annex building is inconvenient and feels almost desolate. You’re told to walk two streets away to a separate building with only a tiny map — it feels strange. The annex is rarely staffed, offers minimal amenities (towels only, house cleaning every four days), and anything else, like slippers or cotton swabs, comes from a paid vending machine. The bigger problem is the location: the annex is right next to bars, clubs, restaurants, and even barbecue spots, so it’s quite noisy at night. Even as a heavy sleeper, I was frequently woken, making it hard to get proper rest. Budget travelers may see this as cheap, but if you’re relying on buses and trying to save money, you’ll already be tired from traveling. It’s better to stay a little further from the nightlife to actually get a proper night’s sleep. Staff are polite, but policies, location, and lack of included amenities make it hard to recommend unless you just need a very basic place to sleep.

The hotel did not offer cleaning services during my consecutive stay, but it wasn't a major issue; I just needed to take out my own trash and leave it outside the door each day. The room was spacious, with a refrigerator, microwave, and kettle, and I had a very comfortable stay. The only downside was the slightly unpleasant odor from the bedding; I strongly recommend the hotel clean it.

Master Tatsuya was a great host, charismatic, welcoming and accommodating . Always had time to listen and support, goes above and beyond cleaning everyday and changing the sheets daily too. Makes a great dinner of wonderful delights of new things to try - you only need to ask! I truly enjoyed my time there, got to practice my Japanese and learn more about the culture. - location is good, not much going on around it. Oh! Very close to the Fukushuen Garden - that was a plus. About 20 mins minimum from station and everything else. Though Master offers you a bike if you want one. It's a home, so not much in the way of amenities.

I had a generally comfortable and pleasant stay at this property. The facilities were adequate and well-equipped, including a kitchen area where I could cook, a microwave, and laundry facilities, which were very convenient for a longer stay. The location is fairly good, with easy access to a nearby bus stop and monorail station. Check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow, especially regarding key collection. One minor downside was that there was construction work next door, which sometimes caused a bit of noise. Additionally, although the overall stay was comfortable, I tried to contact the service provider via chat for a specific need, but unfortunately did not receive a response. Overall, it was a comfortable stay with good facilities and a convenient location.

Stayed in this budget hotel for a night before catching a morning flight from Naha. I'm fine with the small room as it is clean and has everything that I need. Breakfast consisted of 2 onigiri and drinks were included. The best thing is that the hotel is just 2 bus stops away from the airport.

The single room is livable. The reviews say the dormitory room is terrible, but I must say that I killed a visible bug after squeezing it for two days. If you have the budget, I suggest you increase the price a bit, remove all the carpets, update the mattress to a bigger size, and clean it thoroughly.
