"Ureshino Onsen ♨️ They say your skin feels amazing after a soak, and it truly lives up to its reputation! I'd definitely come back again. This onsen hotel included breakfast and dinner with the booking. We stayed in a two-story villa, which is a bit further from the main building, about a few minutes' walk. If you don't feel like walking, the hotel offers a shuttle service, so the service is excellent. Check-in was naturally quick. The main building has an outdoor bath and various other baths, but since they're not that big, it can be hard to get a spot at night. Our villa had a private onsen, so we could take our time soaking in the room. The kaiseki meals for both breakfast and dinner were also quite good. I'd recommend booking it – we really enjoyed it!"

The moment you step into our hotel, you’ll forget the hustle and bustle of daily life— even the fact that you're in the very heart of the Ureshino hot spring town will fade away. Surrounded by tranquil cedar groves, our inn offers a peaceful and elegant atmosphere. The building was designed by the late Mr. Junzo Yoshimura, a member of the Japan Art Academy, who was also involved in the basic design of the new Imperial Palace in Tokyo. We aspire to be a ryokan where every detail reflects thoughtful hospitality, gracefully suited to the emotionally rich design of our space. Since our founding in 1925 (Taisho 14), we have held this wish close to our hearts and have continuously worked to fulfill it.

"A very good family-friendly hotel in Nice with a great location! Dinner and breakfast were fabulous, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you!"

"It's a bit far from JR Ureshino Onsen Station, so I'd recommend taking the bus. You can choose your own yukata on the first floor, and the hotel's public bath is on the 10th floor, which was pretty good. Overall, the value for money is decent. Ureshino Onsen's specialty is tofu, and it's quite delicious."

Healing journey in Ureshino Onsen with lots of Japanese green tea! First Ureshino Japanese green tea bath available for a rebirth of your skin!

"Highly recommend this hot spring hotel! It perfectly captures the traditional Japanese style. The onsen has both indoor and outdoor baths, and the matcha green tea–style hot spring was truly unique—it left my skin feeling incredibly smooth thanks to the special water quality. Both dinner and breakfast were authentic Japanese meals, and the service was professional. A free shuttle to/from the JR station is also provided. An excellent stay!"

"My stay at Ureshino Onsen Yoshidaya Uchiroji Hondori (also known as Yadoya Uchiroji Hondori) was a tale of two extremes in the charming hot spring town of Ureshino, Saga Prefecture. The hotel was modern Japanese-style with smart check-in system. The twin room was spacious, impeccably clean, and exude serene comfort, making it a perfect retreat. The private onsen facilities truly shine— It was a free slot with 40 mins, which could be booked once via QR Code at the room. Ureshino's famous sodium-rich hot springs, renowned as one of Japan's top three for beautifying the skin, deliver silky-smooth water that leaves you feeling rejuvenated. However, the meal plan was a major letdown. I sent an email to the hotel to confirm my booking and stated I did not eat beef before. The customer service replied I had to pay extra per person in order to change the meat option. For over JPY 38,000 per night including breakfast and dinner, we anticipated premium kaiseki cuisine or traditional served Japanese dinner set. Instead, only a bento box with cold salad and an underwhelming beef and egg pie that felt mismatched for the price. Tragically, my husband experienced vomiting shortly after, likely food-related, which overshadowed our trip. And the breakfast was also disappointing, which was only cold sandwiches with a cup of tea or milk. Thus, I strongly recommend the hotel clearly states the exact contents of dinner and breakfast plans on booking sites—including detailed menus or photos—and offers flexible options, such as plan changes or alternatives, if guests fall ill from the food. This transparency and adaptability would greatly enhance the experience and prevent frustration."

All guest rooms feature 100% natural flowing hot spring water. A relaxing inn where you can fully enjoy Ureshino tea and its beautifying hot spring. Newly opened in October 2023, Ureshino 88 aims to be a healing hot spring inn where guests can restore both body and mind through tea and onsen. Ureshino's most renowned local specialty is its tea. Every day, local tea farmers personally serve freshly whisked Ureshino tea, allowing guests to experience its charm to the fullest. The inn also features Ureshino Onsen, one of Japan’s top three beautifying hot springs. All 36 rooms are equipped with private baths using 100% natural hot spring water. The large public bath includes a tea-aroma löyly sauna, offering a deeply rejuvenating experience. As a hot spring inn rooted in Ureshino, we fully embrace and showcase the local values of Saga, including its cuisine, crafts, and climate, and offer a variety of stay plans.

"Hotel: New and clean facilities. A hotel shuttle can be booked to and from the hotel. The driver mentioned that the developer is the same company that built Ureshino Onsen Station, so they want to heavily develop tourism in the area. Ureshino has 17 hot springs, and this hotel occupies two of them. The water at this hotel is slightly slippery, but not as slippery as in Takeo Onsen. We didn't choose to have dinner at the hotel. There are Italian restaurants and izakayas nearby, and a supermarket is about a 15-minute walk away. The breakfast is plentiful. What I liked most was that each room has a private bath with hot spring water. A minor hiccup: When traveling to Ureshino Onsen, I started from Hakata, then transferred to the Shinkansen at Takeo Onsen. It turns out that the IC card cannot be used to exit the gate at Ureshino Onsen Shinkansen Station; a ticket is required. Furthermore, the IC card cannot be cancelled at the same station; the procedure must be completed at Takeo Station for the return trip. It is highly recommended to buy physical tickets if transferring at Takeo Onsen."

Comfortable spaces and warm hospitality welcome guests to Fairfield by Marriott Saga Ureshino Onsen. We are conveniently located adjacent to Michi-no-Eki Ureshino Maruku in Ureshino Onsen whose popularity as a destination has grown with the opening of the Nishi-Kyushu Shinkansen Line. This onsen or hot spring resort is counted among Japans three best hot springs for beautiful skin, and it invites visitors to sample its many spas, which include the Seibold-no-yu public bathhouse and numerous footbaths. Ureshino Onsen Yudofu or hot tofu, made using the hot waters of Ureshino's hot springs, is deliciously runny and smooth. Ureshino Cha or tea, which is grown in the clear waters and pristine air of the misty Ureshino basin, can be tried in beverages and sweets throughout the region. There is no restaurant on site so that you can enjoy nearby dining options and use the hotel as a base to explore surroundings. Please note that our hotel does not have hot spring facilities.

"A very pleasant stay in Ureshino Onsen area. The hotel is modern, clean, and well-maintained, with comfortable and spacious rooms compared to typical business hotels in Japan. Although the hotel itself doesn’t have its own onsen, there are excellent public hot springs just nearby, which made the experience unique and relaxing. The location is quiet and perfect for unwinding, especially for travelers looking to enjoy nature and hot springs. Staff were polite and helpful, and the facilities were simple but convenient. Overall, a great choice for a peaceful and comfortable stay."

"It had a proper beginning, middle, and end. Upon arrival, I was kindly shown to my room, but it was different from the one I had booked. They explained it was a mistake on Trip's note-taking side and upgraded me to a better room. Although it was a bit of a waste of time, that wasn't too bad. The problem was that the building we were in was extremely cold. The heating with just the fan heater was also a bit insufficient. Please keep in mind that it was a room with an open-air ryokan. Personally, I liked the staff's service and especially the breakfast."

Both the large communal bath and the open-air bath can be enjoyed using our own hot spring water.

"The room size was decent, plenty of entertainment on Level 1 *some are not free* and a foot bath right in front of the hotel. Put some mosquito repellent, we didn't even get to sit more than 5 mins because of mosquitoes. Loved their dinner buffet. Thanks to the free alcoholic drinks we got to sample a few different types of sake. The food was good and for the breakfast French toast was the best. The dinner buffet timing was only 1.5 hours but it was more than enough for us. The room pricing isn’t cheap but it’s definitely worth the value if you just want to spend a quiet and relaxing evening inside the hotel after visiting some of the attractions around the area."

Need a car to reach the place, but it's easy to find via GPS. The hosts have been very friendly and guided us well. The kids had fun walking the goats, feeding the chickens, and helping with the cooking. It's a good place to destress and feel nature once again.

I liked the entrance to the hotel with a Japanese atmosphere. The parking lot is not next to the building, but across the street, so please refer to the rental car. After staying at a business hotel, I went to Irifuneso, and the tatami room was spacious and nice. I was worried that the wallpaper was squeaky, but it was neat whether the dopai was new. The furniture is old, but I think it's also the history of an old hotel, so I feel atmospheric ~ Amenities, towels, Yukata can all be taken by themselves, and traditional Japanese zhuri (?) is in the room. The best thing was the hot springs and breakfast. The hot spring water was smooth and the temperature was moderate. I feel the skin smooth after the hot spring. It's small, but there's an open-air bath. Breakfast was a small fireplace, so I cooked tofu soup with pork and small fish. The fish was so delicious, and although he doesn't speak English, he explains how to eat it in Japanese. I'm told to unload eggs in rice and mix them with sauce, but I don't like eggs on the day, so I can cook them in hot spring tofu. It was a night of Japanese atmosphere.

Service:: There are Chinese service staff. It doesn’t matter if you don’t speak Japanese. Environment: Just near the hot spring street, the location is very convenient. There are also various hotels around Facilities: There are public and private hot spring pools. Private hot spring pools must be booked and paid in advance. But there was no one at the public hot spring pool we went to at 9pm, so it was reserved. There are also shampoo and conditioners, facial cleansers, facial masks, lotions, creams, hair dryers, and foot washers, and some have multiple options. The room is quite large. Meals: Our reservation included breakfast and dinner. The hot spring tofu for breakfast is amazing, so delicious that I have never tasted it in China. Dinner is very rich, including Saga beef sashimi and more.

This hotel is the same group as Yoshida House on the previous street. I stayed at Yoshida House Hot Spring Hotel the night before. The second night I stayed at this soup hotel. There was no staff in this soup hotel. It was fully self-service. I encountered difficulties when I checked in. I couldn't enter the hotel and needed to ring the doorbell. Contact the staff of Yoshida House and communicate in general English. After he opened me to the hotel from a distance, I couldn't check-in procedures by myself due to the name problem. I needed to wait for the staff to come over to help. Because the distance from Yoshida House is very close, the staff will come to help in a few minutes. Even if you encounter some difficulties when you check in, the experience in this hotel is good, the room is large, the hotel has free parking, the hot spring water output is slightly slower than Yoshida House, breakfast is to fall downstairs to get a box of sandwiches and a can of drinks, If you want to soak in the private hot springs in the room at a cheap price, you can live in this room, but don't want staff to serve you

It's a bit far from the JR station. Since I didn't make an appointment in advance for the hotel to pick me up at the station, I had to walk there (I give full marks to the staff at Kobe Station back then. The staff at Ureshino Onsen Station was indifferent) I booked a one-night stay with two meals. The room was the largest in this Japan trip. It also looked newly renovated. The food was generally good. The hot spring was a bit small. There were indoor and outdoor areas. The outdoor scenery was not as beautiful as that of Kobe back then. I thought the Japanese service was superb, but when I checked in, they didn't even deliver my luggage to the room. I don't know if it's the same in Japan. But when I checked out, there was a free station delivery service. Overall, this stay was good. Next time I'm going to try Beppu Onsen
