"We stayed near the airport for one night to catch an early flight. We chose this hotel because it had a kids' pool, which was a nice bonus. The hotel is conveniently located less than 10 minutes from the airport, making it easy to catch a taxi or pre-book one in the morning. While there aren't many commercial establishments nearby, the hotel's dining options were sufficient. The room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with comfortable amenities. However, for some reason (perhaps a special circumstance), the shower water fluctuated between hot and cold, making it very difficult to maintain a stable, comfortable temperature. We also couldn't find a hairdryer. The kids' pool was definitely a highlight and better than we expected. Our little one had a great time, and we noticed many local families staying there with their children. So, even if you're not rushing for a flight, this hotel would be suitable for a leisurely trip too."

"Great stay at Olive Tree Hotel. This was my second time and it still felt great and such a comfortable stay. The place is clean, and well-maintained. Although Bayan Lepas is a bit further from where people normally would want to go for holidays in Penang (Georgetown and around), it is very worth the money spent. Will definitely come back again!"

"Overall, a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was comfortable and well maintained. The only minor issues were that the door was a bit difficult to push open and there was a small amount of dust in the corner of the room. The food was good, although the variety could be improved slightly. The gym and pool facilities were both very good and well kept. Aside from these small details, everything else was perfect. I would happily recommend this hotel."

"Room got bad smell from toilet, have crockroach, many ants in the table, There is no tooth brush/tooth paste, no slippery, shower cap etc as amenities in hotel bed not good need change new bed, Towel not fresh still got bad smell.. bfast too spicy for local food, Hotel price not worth it, old hotel"

"The room was ok but the tv was extremely dusty , thus the floor wasn’t swept properly ( there was still remnants of food and hairs ) some of the pillows was dusty too . All I can say is that AC hotel could be better"

"I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Penang Marjorie Hotel, and overall, it was a delightful experience. The standout feature of my stay was undoubtedly the kindness of the staff. Every interaction was marked by warmth and attentiveness, making me feel truly welcomed. The room itself was another highlight. It was spacious, well-appointed, and provided a comfortable haven to relax after a day of exploring. The attention to detail in the room's decor and amenities enhanced my overall experience. However, I did encounter some challenges during my stay. The elevator system was somewhat confusing, especially when trying to navigate to the 4th-floor car park. It often required multiple trips between our floor and the lobby. Additionally, I noticed the elevator lights would occasionally illuminate without actually moving, which added to the confusion. Another area for improvement is the pool service. I attempted to reach out via WhatsApp to request service, but unfortunately, I never received a response. This aspect of my stay was disappointing, as I had hoped for a more seamless experience while enjoying the pool area. In summary, while my stay at the Iconic Marjorie Hotel was enjoyable thanks to the wonderful staff and lovely room, I hope they can address the elevator issues and improve pool service for a smoother experience in the future. I would still recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a pleasant stay in Penang!"

"Stayed at Eastin Hotel Penang and had a pleasant experience overall. The location is convenient, especially for business travellers, with Queensbay Mall just next door. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a nice view. Staff were polite and helpful throughout the stay. Breakfast had a decent variety and tasted good. Overall, a comfortable and convenient hotel for both work and short leisure stays in Penang. The facilities and rooms could be improved with renovation, as some areas feel a bit dated."

"It would be even better if the bed in the room was 1.4m wide. There's a huge bathtub, so kids can enjoy a lovely soak. The hygiene and environment are pretty good. The hotel is connected to a shopping mall, which makes shopping very convenient."
