"This room had dozens of beds, and the toilet was outside the room, but it was perfectly adequate and there was no queue. There were activities every night that you could join, which was great for meeting other solo travelers. However, the location requires a tram ride of about 10 minutes, so if you're not buying an Oslo Pass, you should really consider that. It's over a 30-minute walk."

"Among hotels of similar price in Northern Europe, this one offers the largest rooms. Jinjiang Group truly understands Chinese travelers' needs – there's a kettle! The room was clean and comfortable.
Airport: There's a hotel shuttle bus that drops you right at the entrance. It takes about an hour and costs over 300 NOK, which is significantly more expensive than taking the metro.
Train Station: It's one metro stop away from the train station, or about a 15-minute walk. The closest metro station is a 5-minute walk through a park. If you're catching an early train for Norway in a Nutshell, I'd recommend the Radisson near the train station for better convenience."

"Definitely a busier part of town but we enjoyed being in the middle of it. Could see and hear the water fountains in the park from window. There is a little second level perch/balcony which was amazing to sit at during the evening sun while sipping some of the delicious white wine provided by hotel. Easy walk to the train stations and overall great location for walking to all of the places we wanted to go to. Beds were very comfortable and we had excellent sleep! Morning breakfast was amazing and had a very nice ambiance! I can’t believe the fresh juice station and health shots…America needs to step up the game as far as hotel breakfasts."

"This hotel is perfectly adequate, clean, and well-equipped. We traveled from Iceland to Oslo primarily to participate in the Norway in Miniature tour. The next day, we toured Oslo, and the third day, we spent some free time enjoying the Norway in Miniature tour. Everything was perfect. Our trip to Iceland and the five Nordic countries featured the Sognefjord and Hardangfjord in Norway. We stopped for the night in Voss, and the entire journey was breathtakingly beautiful!"

"The hotel is located in the centre of the old city, just a few minutes from Oslo Central Station and only about three minutes from the Oslo Opera House, making it very convenient for visitors. I booked for three people, and we were given a spacious and lovely family room consisting of two separate rooms. The included breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of delicious options. The dinner included was a light dinner. The whole day free coffee and the afternoon snack were very thoughtful. The only downside was that the bathroom felt a bit dated, but hopefully the ongoing renovations will address this."

"Take the train from the airport to the city (not the central train station but the next stop), and walk for more than ten minutes to the hotel after leaving the station. The location is actually very good, a few minutes to the palace, next to the Canadian embassy. The room is big enough, the family room living room and bedroom have a half-walled child sleeping on the sofa bed. The room has breakfast but because the hotel can't prepare a light meal take-out box, that is, sandwiches and fruits and drinks, it is also a basic problem. Check-in time is as late as ever, but the hotel has a room to check in at 12 o'clock, which is good."

Hotel guests must pay a supplement daily charge to use the swimming pools AND book at designated time slot. I have NEVER experienced this at any hotel anywhere in the world. I was in a premium room, but this policy applies to all guests, which I think is awful. It was also impossible to get a spa appointment during my stay. Zero preference given to hotel guests. I strongly suggest you book spa treatments at least a week in advance of your arrival. Also, there is no turndown service, unusual for a highly priced 5* hotel. Housekeeping also finishes very early, or isn’t interested in guests who don’t align with their schedule. I had to work in my room but left at 2:45pm and it was not cleaned despite signalling the room needed making up. The reception team were polite, but chaotic. Generally, the hotel restaurants seem more focused on catering to outside guests, which is a shame.

GGuest UserFirst of all, my baby and I brought 3 pieces of luggage, and the receptionist didn't seem to want to help at all. When I checked out, I met a very good receptionist, who was very nice and enthusiastic. The hotel is in a good location and has a high cost-effectiveness. This price is much more comfortable than living in Japan.

Hotel’s in a quiet neighbourhood, we slept through the night very peacefully. Loved our stay, would definitely stay here again if I come back to Oslo.

AAdaline MasudaTruly one of the best hotel stays I have ever experienced. The hotel staff went above and beyond to ensure we were well accommodated and comfortable throughout. When we arrived at the hotel it was 11AM, so I mentioned to the front desk staff that I know it was far too early for us to receive our room (check in is typically at 3PM) and that we would like to simply drop off our bags. Without any special requests, the front desk staff immediately prepared our room keys of us to check in right away, which was hugely appreciated since we had caught a very early morning flight in. We loved the room. It was very comfortable for the 3 of us, although a bit tight but that's what we expected for hotel rooms in Europe. The bathroom was well fitted and had all the basic toiletries required (shampoo, body wash, hand soap), however we hoped to have body lotion as well, so we asked housekeeping whether any was available and they immediately brought 3 LARGE bottles for each of us to use. I have never seen such massive toiletries and in such generous quantities supplied at any hotel before, which again made us feel very well taken care of. Finally on our check out day our flight was not until 6PM and since checkout is typically at 11AM I requested for just a 1 hr extension. Although they were very busy for it being the beginning of summer holidays, without any hesitation the front desk staff extended our checkout time to 3PM. I was once again very pleasantly surprised and appreciative. My last note is to touch on the complimentary tea and coffee always available in the lobby, as well as the fabulous buffet breakfast they served. Cannot recommend this hotel enough!
