"The hotel’s location is excellent. The property is clean and well-maintained, and the rooms are spacious with daily housekeeping. Breakfast offers a wide selection with a rotating menu, and the swimming pool is large and clean with a relaxing jacuzzi. I also enjoyed the entertainment room.
The only minor downsides are that the rooms do not include a smart TV and the Wi-Fi can be slow at night. Overall, everything else was wonderful. I would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again."

"Hotel is surprisingly great for its price! With just some few bucks to add vs the usual lodge/backpacker rates, you will get far superior amenities, room size and service as a whole. The hotel owner is the same with Zuri Resort by the bay, and the adjacent Westown Lagoon.
Staffs are friendly and accommodating. Hotel facade, pool and bar and restaraunt are also great. They got three or four pools. The rooms are okay, not as pleasant as the hotel facade but still are in good condition and still comfortable.
The only downside would be the location, its 5-6km away from the town proper - will take around 10mins via tuktuk/tricyle. Bfast buffet is just okay. Not a lot of choices but still good.
Overall, still a good experience for the price."

"Location of the hotel was very close to the town however our room (pool view) was at the top and with lots of bags it’s quite the climb due to all the stairs. The staff were friendly and the rooms was fairly clean Just outdated, the window in our bathroom wouldn’t shut causing lizards and other small bugs to come In the room and the water in the shower would occasionally run cold. Other than than the room was a decent size and we had a pleasant stay"

"Amazing staff who help book tours and transport. Very good food (breakfast less so) but Filipino food (sisig and adobo) and sliders were great. The room was huge - I’m sorry I didn’t take photos of it! Water coolers throughout hotel and bottled water. However, this is not “newly refurbished” as advertised - wear and tear and old AC in the room. The pool is lovely and clean but we realised why there could be so many mosquitos - there is no pool pump so stagnant water (although regularly cleaned). So many mosquitos in our room day after day and the rooms smelt very fousty and damp. Yes it’s up a hill which I’ve seen on other reviews, but that’s coron! Deal with it haha. We paid 30PHP to get up the hill once, no dramas. Basic accommodation reflected on price but the mosquitos and damp smell were very disappointing to us."

"The highlight of this hotel is the pool area. It’s right out on the water with a gorgeous view and the pool itself is huge! The rooms were big, comfortable, and clean. The only two issues we had with our stay was that we couldn’t figure out the water heater and some of the cardio equipment in the gym area was malfunctioning. But the staff was wonderful and the hotel was right by the pier so it was very easy to catch the ferry to our next destination."

"Great experience overall! The hotel had amazing views, clean and comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and a peaceful yet convenient location. "Very nice hotel, just 5 min away from town if you take a ride. Very friendly and welcoming staff.
Good shower, always hot water, strong AC, lovely pool that you can use until 10 pm. Pool towels also provided.
Lots of useful things like toothbrush set, comb, shaver set etc. provided.
Mini Bar with some cold drinks - to pay on top but is good to have if you need something asap.
The only thing I would not recommend was the restaurant, I didn't really like the food and we were waiting around 1 hour for it to arrive.
It was quite pricey as most of the things were described as ”to share”. My partner likes to eat different things so I didn't really like the concept of that menu."

KKaliannaThe resort was on an isolated island. Took 20-min car ride from the airport and 45-min boat ride from the port to the island. Our room was supposed to be ocean view, just right behind the sunrise villas. Unfortunately, the trees have grown high & hardly can we see the ocean. So best to go to the beach and enjoy the sceneries there. Not worth paying extra, unless it's sunset villa. Breakfast was acceptable, but in-room dining service need improvement. Especially, the cleaning up part. The swimming pool is under maintenance and I thought seafood & sashimi would be good, but nope, which is a bit extra disappointing. However, the general experience was good since the staffs are very nice and polite. We received different types of local snacks daily and turned out the kitchen made Filipinos food better than international ones. For morning hiking to Eagle Point, it's not really worth it, unless you have a drone to have 360-degree view. Intended to rate 3.8/5, but I got to see the sea turtle so 4/5 ~

FFulgencio Pollocation is perfect just few block for a market and walking distance to the marina we're the boats for excursion is dock and load. The hotel accomodations is just basic small bed low and very thin mattress, pillow and blanket is excellent soft, water supply is abundant although electricity us intermitent on and off, our aircondition unit has been affected that doesn't giving cold air glad it was just out last night. pool is beautiful and cleaned , food for breakfast is superb better and giid quality selection. the staff are very polite and respectful, very helpful and get job done as much as possible, they pack a sandwich breakfast for us as we have early trip to El Nido that was very nice if rhem. The water supply is not drinkable so they provide bottled water and you can ask for a refill. They will give you a welcome drink of a fruit drink. This is really a good location, my only dislike is the bed, as it's very small when they say twin bed it is a twin bed, other than that it's ok. Yes its more pricey compare to the sorrounding hotel but the food and pool are the best.

ケケニーヤンI wanted to spread out two large suitcases, so I booked a twin room for 15,000 yen.
The room was clean, but the air conditioner was in a position where it was directly in my face, so I turned it off when I went to sleep.
The shower, toilet, and sink were in the same space, so the toilet got sticky after a shower. Taking that into consideration, I thought that for this price, it would be better to stay in a hotel even if it was a little further away.
There are lots of restaurants and tour companies around in town, the location is great, and the staff are all smiling and kind. If you're looking for a cheap room, I definitely recommend it!

CCris RuffoloI went on a 13-day trip around Palawan and Coron was my first stop from Cebu. In Coron, I stayed in Dayon Hostel. I was alone for the duration of my three-night stay in the six-bed female dorm. You can choose to lock the door at night for security. I made sure that I turned off the AC every time I went out.
The restrooms are clean especially the toilets although the shower rooms need to be upgraded as some showerheads do not function that well. It will also be nice if they do a thorough cleaning of the shower rooms and the sinks as they looked dirty and unkempt.
There is a restaurant on the rooftop but the options are limited. If you exit through the back, it leads you the main road where you will find a wonderful cafe that serves good sausage meals. There are also several local options available if you want affordable options.
The price I paid was worth the quality of the stay. The hostel is known by tour operators and guides and so it was not a challenge when it was time for pick-up and drop off.
I loved the staff especially when I had to leave early in the morning to head to the port for my trip to El Nido. They arranged my transportation and made sure that I left the hostel on time.
Will I go back? Maybe not and it's not because I don't like it. It's just that I felt that my next stay should be in a private room for another worthwhile experience in Coron. But for those solo travelers on a budget, Dayon Hostel is your best bet in Coron in as far as affordable sleeping option is concerned.

GGuest UserThis place is amazing, I stayed for 5 nights at the end of my Backpacking trip whilst I was diving for 3 days. The staff are exceptional - nothing is too much trouble. Everything is clean, the food is delicious, the pool is amazing, although a few extra sun loungers wouldn't hurt, and the grounds are beautiful. I loved the little treat they left in my room every evening, they have the little personal details, which set them apart from elsewhere perfected. Probably the best hotel I have ever stayed in. Thank you very much!

GGuest UserStayed here due to lack of options frankly when booking a hotel for Coron. It obviously fancies itself as a nice resort but it's slightly on the tacky side. To be clear, the staff are very nice and check in was smooth. The pool area resembles that of a slightly tacky European resort and isn't as fancy as it wants to be. The breakfast was lacking and pretty basic. The room is nice and clean. The resort is a bit far out of the town but that's not a bad thing. A tricycle is 40 pesos per person. The hotel transfer from the airport was more expensive than hotels which are closer to the town and so further from the airport!
Overall it's fine but we stayed in another hotel in Coron after this one and preferred that one. I probably wouldn't stay here again. It's certainly not bad but not superb for the price.

I had a wonderful stay at MO2 Lagoon Coron! The food was absolutely delicious — every meal was a treat. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always ready to help with a smile. The amenities were top-notch, and the whole place had a peaceful, relaxing vibe that made it easy to unwind.
One highlight was when my phone accidentally got soaked — I asked the staff if they had rice to help dry it out, and they immediately gave me some without hesitation. That small act of kindness really made a difference and showed how attentive and helpful they are. Highly recommended if you're looking for a chill, worry-free getaway in Coron!

GGuest UserThe hotel is a short distance from the town of Cologne, about 10 minutes walk to the town, you can also choose to take a motorcycle, very cheap.
The hotel's public areas are very good. It is one of the few hotels in Cologne with a garden and swimming pool.
As for the room facilities, it was a lot worse. There are few beds, made of bamboo, and they turn around and creak, which affects sleep.
The hotel can order, but the taste is too salty, and a soup noodle is good.
It is more like a family hotel, with insufficient awareness of operation and service.

FFilWe read a lot of bad reviews and were a bit skeptical but decided to give it a chance. Our experience was nothing like the bad reviews.
The room was clean and had no bugs or so. Everything was working properly in the room, there was even a TV with cable TV.
We ordered breakfast and lunch in advance for a given time and all was ready at that time. Also, food was good and pricing aligned with these kind of accommodations, dishes were 300-400php in general.
Staff was nice. Boat rides work well.
Don't be scared by the bad reviews!

The twin room we booked is facing the sunset, so it is very convenient to watch the sunset from the room. The room is big, but you just need to pay attention to whether there are mice...
