A familiar atmosphere instantly transported me back 21 years, to the very beginning of my career dreams. The 'Miss Dai' who was at the front desk and my contemporary back then has been replaced by younger, post-2000s faces. Yet, Wenjun Lou itself, with its genuine warmth and personal touch, remains unchanged. I'm grateful that in this restless era, places like Wenjun Lou and steadfast friendships help us remember our original intentions and stay true to our core beliefs. I promise, I'll be back to visit you often whenever I get the chance!

This hotel's design is absolutely perfect for couples; it's incredibly romantic and atmospheric. The highlight has to be the huge bathtub with an unbeatable view of Chengdu's nightscape – simply stunning! From the front desk service to the room tidiness, everything was exceptional. The location is fantastic too, right behind Taikoo Li, with two convenience stores downstairs. Plus, the street food stalls outside stay open quite late, so night owls can easily grab a late-night snack. Highly recommend! 💯

The room was exactly as pictured, boasting a very unique and stylish design. My two friends and I checked in, having originally booked a king room. The front desk staff proactively offered us the option to upgrade to a family room. After comparing, we decided the family room would be more comfortable for the three of us, so we paid to upgrade. The family room had excellent natural light and was very well-equipped. The laundry room, gym, and other facilities are all available 24/7. The only minor drawback was the lack of breakfast. However, our overall stay was fantastic, and I highly recommend it.

LOCATION is super good. Within couple of minutes to Taikooli, which has lots of shops including a big supermarket and plenty of eateries. Also within walking distance to Chunxi and IFS. APARTMENT is big and spacious and good for at least 4 pax (mine was a 2-bedroom Japanese-style apartment). Very aesthetic and IG-worthy at every corner of the apartment. View from room was amazing. Although looks old from outside, it is actually nice and clean within. Comes with kitchenette with fridge etc, washer, 1 bathroom cum toilet and 1 separate bath outside (open concept). There's a big screen wigh projector to watch movies in the living room. There's even a fireplace with logs! Free bottled water every day and you can request for daily housekeeping at your preferred timings. OTHERS: There are 2 mini marts within the building, it's easy to get ******* delivery. Convenient to get Didi. A few cafes and quaint boutiques, roadside food stslls and street vendors just outside the apartment building. Communication woth the apartment staff via WeChat was seamless as their responses were always prompt. Overall, highly recommended!

Orange Fruit Hotel Review 🍊 Had a wonderful stay at Orange Fruit Hotel! The location is excellent — easy access to nearby attractions, restaurants, and public transport. The amenities are great, everything was clean and well-maintained. The staff were very friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices to start the day right. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort and convenience!

Very cute little hotel with amazing service and a beautiful traditional Chinese courtyard. Quiet at night, clean. I would only point out that the twin rooms have transparent shower and toilets, a bit awkward when you’re traveling with friends.

You can always approach the front desk or the owner for any needs; their service is incredibly warm and enthusiastic. This place is very popular with foreign tourists, including families and groups, so accommodations get booked up quickly. Advance booking is definitely recommended, and it's best to communicate your group size and any specific needs to the owner beforehand. I always choose to stay here whenever I visit Chengdu. The beds are incredibly comfortable; the owner told me they were all replaced last year as part of a recent renovation. Consequently, amenities like the toilets, washing machines, and dryers are also brand new. They genuinely keep up with the times and prioritize their customers' needs – what's not to love about a place like that? I definitely hope to visit again.

Great boutique hotel, near people's park and kuanzhai alley, both really worth a visit. Maybe more than just a one time visit. The room was very comfortable and really clean, it had all I could need, water, tea, milk, coffee and snacks. The room was cleaned daily. The staff is amazing, they made me feel really welcomed. When I arrived my room wasn't ready so they upgraded me to an upper floor. For a couple of days I found cards and little gifts on my desk (it was a public holiday here), which was really thoughtful. I didn't need to, but there's also a chance to do your laundry at the hotel. The hotel also provides some soup in the evening, and some activities that I could not attended, but I thought it was a nice idea. If you don't smoke make sure to book a non smoking room and you'll have a great stay!

Excellent service from the moment we checked-in on 9 Oct until check-out at 10 Oct today. Staff was polite and nice, offered assistance for our food delivery on ******* as well, so we got them some snacks too! Hope we made their day! Assistance also provided using WhatsApp for tourists and can communicate well in English. All the staffs are helpful, also provided us with phone chargers after check-out. Great tea and coffee served at tea time using our voucher that came with our stay. The space was clean, amazing lighting, clean bathrooms and location is about 15 mins by foot to Kuan Tzai Alley. Our room also had a Marshall portable speaker! Overall, this was an excellent option, very good value and top-notch services; would highly recommend to anyone visiting Chengdu!
