Hotels in East Second Ring Workers' Stadium Area, Beijing

I booked this hotel for a concert at Workers' Stadium. It was quite convenient to walk back to the hotel, taking about 15-20 minutes even with the large crowd after the show. Downstairs, there's a KFC, Mixue Ice Cream & Tea, and various other restaurants, offering a great selection. The hotel is also near Metro Line 2, and it's not far from Beijing South Railway Station! Plus, there's a nearby attraction, Dongyue Temple, which is within walking distance.

This hotel is above an underground art gallery – it's very 'Beijing'! The hotel shows its age with some historical touches, and the soundproofing could be improved. Overall, it's quite unique. From the collection of artworks, you can tell the gallery owner is a very imaginative and patient person, skilled at discovering beauty. Some natural stone patterns truly resemble paintings, each with its own story. The 9th-floor rooftop garden, when flowers are in full bloom, must be a stunning, self-contained paradise. Even though it's a bit past its prime now, it's still worth visiting. There's a simple small gym, a basic laundry room, and the owner's own study. Every hallway is adorned with various paintings, some over a hundred years old, worth a careful look. It’s an interesting place definitely worth exploring.

The location is great, near Sanlitun and the embassy district. It's quiet yet well-equipped, and you can easily cycle to various places in Dongcheng. The room was spacious, and I requested one at the end of the corridor, which had good soundproofing. Even though I checked in late at night, they thoughtfully provided some snacks. The 2 PM checkout time was very flexible and convenient. Being able to go for a walk along the Liangma River right after breakfast was a real bonus. Thumbs up!

Good hotel in excellent location! Provided clean towels and water everyday without asking which was perfect. Only issue we had was that the bed was very hard and not the most comfy! And the shower filled up if in there for over 10 mins. Other than that good hotel and would recommend! Good base for exploring Beijing

For a little over 200, getting a room under 20 sqm in Chaoyang District is quite a good deal. The hotel is on the 4th floor of a building and looks newly renovated, everything feels fresh. Transportation is also convenient, as it's just a short walk to Dongdaqiao Station. If you don't need a lot of space and are looking for good value for money, this place is for you.

I had a very satisfying stay! The hotel's location is convenient, the overall environment is cozy and comfortable, and the cleanliness is top-notch. The room had great natural light and ventilation. The staff were friendly and attentive, responding promptly to any requests. The facilities were complete and easy to use, making for a worry-free and pleasant stay. I truly recommend it to everyone!

Extremely satisfied with the excellent service. I couldn't find any laundry detergent in my room, and a staff member passing by immediately got some from another empty room for me to use. After checking out and storing my luggage, I realized I'd left my yogurt in the fridge. The staff kindly kept it for me until I picked up my luggage in the evening. The rooftop pool is absolutely beautiful.

I stayed at this hotel near the Workers' Stadium because it was late for the game, and the location was indeed very convenient. It's a newly renovated hotel, and I'm not sure if it's owned by the same person as the old Kaifu Hotel. The decor is a bit like a KTV 😂, but the overall quality is just average. Things I liked: 1. The showerhead is great, the water pressure is very strong. 2. The front desk service was very friendly and proactive. 3. The bedding was excellent, very comfortable to sleep in 👍 Things I didn't like: 1. The gym is a partnership with Aishang, and you have to buy a 29.9 yuan package to use, which the front desk will reimburse. For someone like me who likes to work out, this was a bit of a hassle 😡 2. Overnight parking is free, but a staff member has to take you to explain this to the parking attendant – it's so basic! 🤣 3. The breakfast seems to be outsourced; the variety and dishes are similar to a guesthouse, not up to star-rated standards! Next time I stay here, I definitely won't buy breakfast at the hotel. It's a hotel that's only been open for less than a week, so these shortcomings are understandable. I hope it will improve in the future!

The place is clean and location is convenient if one is coming from Beijing Capital airport as there is an airport express to the Dongzhimen station. There are shopping malls nearby. A local morning market, 春秀合生汇，is not too far away. The hotel does not serve breakfast in the premises. There is a volunteer group helping tourist just diagonally opposite the hotel. There is also a bus station nearby. For elderly traveller using airport express, there is no lift/elevator to/from the train platform. One has to carry luggages up the 24 flight of stairs Though there is a ramp by the side it looks rather steep and not easy to manage. Not recommended for elderly travellers.

I brought my daughter to Beijing to play with her friends and needed a hotel for five nights and four days. My requirements were proximity to my friend's home, good parking, and a quiet environment. After filtering by these conditions, there were very few hotels left that were reasonably priced and had a good atmosphere. So, on the first night, I decided to try Tang House. To my surprise, the front desk staff upgraded me to a family room with one double bed and one single bed. However, I found the room a bit damp, and the air conditioner blew directly onto the single bed, which was a little uncomfortable. On the plus side, the room was well soundproofed, and there was a huge parking lot directly opposite the hotel entrance. You just needed a parking slip from the front desk each day. The hotel's location was very quiet, with no traffic noise, and Liangma River Park was right downstairs, perfect for daily strolls. So, I decided to switch to a twin room. After changing rooms, it immediately felt brighter and less damp. The air conditioner was also aimed at the desk and chairs, perfectly avoiding the beds. The room was much more comfortable, so I decisively booked it for the remaining days. I must particularly mention the hotel's decor. It has a medieval simplicity yet retains Chinese elements. Every painting is a delight to the eye and perfectly complements the room's style. The wooden floors feel very comfortable underfoot, and the bedding is just the right firmness, so I didn't wake up feeling sore the next day. I highly recommend this hotel for business travelers. It's quiet, convenient for parking, has a public laundry room, offers free coffee, and you can even try on Manchu princess costumes. The service is attentive and thoughtful! 👍
