The Japanese-style decor shows great attention to detail. The hotel environment is clean and hygienic, and the room itself is tidy and well-kept. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, which is perfect for couples or families. The pillows and mattress are incredibly comfortable – I slept straight through until 7 AM! The breakfast is also quite unique; it's served individually and is very refined. Plus, there's free coffee available. The staff are very welcoming, and the 'little housekeeper' (concierge/manager) was incredibly helpful and answered all our questions thoroughly. I'm very satisfied!

I stayed at the Shanshui Fashion Hotel Dongcai branch during my Qingming holiday trip to Dalian, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. The staff were warm and patient, paying great attention to detail. The room was clean, tidy, and well soundproofed, allowing me to sleep very soundly. Full marks for service and excellent value for money. I'd definitely recommend it to friends visiting Dalian.

The room was quite spacious, and the surroundings were relatively quiet. The sea view room offered a beautiful vista, with trees, green spaces, yachts, buildings, and a cross-sea bridge, making it a more dynamic and interesting sea view than just the horizon. Compared to the Grand Hyatt, it offers better value for money. However, some details don't quite meet five-star standards, such as the lack of a swimming pool. On the plus side, the service attitude was excellent, and Keke from the front desk was particularly understanding and accommodating, which I greatly appreciated. If I'm ever staying near Xinghai Square again, I'd definitely choose this hotel. The sea view here is much more varied and less monotonous than a simple sea-and-sky horizon. Xinghai Park is very close by; it was fantastic to spend the morning playing on the beach there, then come back to the room for a shower, make some tea, and just relax while admiring the sea view.

This stay far exceeded my expectations, so I'm definitely giving it a full five-star rating. The hotel's location is excellent, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing, dining, and shopping. The lobby is elegant and clean, and the public areas are well-maintained. My room was meticulously cleaned, had no strange odors, and boasted great natural light and soundproofing. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the toiletries were complete and worked perfectly. I especially want to commend Bonnie at the front desk. She handled both check-in and check-out efficiently and smoothly, always with a smile, demonstrating peak professionalism. When I asked about nearby attractions, breakfast times, and various other questions, she answered each one patiently and thoroughly, even proactively offering helpful travel tips. Her perfect balance of attentiveness and professionalism really helped melt away the fatigue of travel. With both excellent facilities and warm, attentive service, this will be my top choice for future trips. I highly recommend it to all travelers!

A good hotel is key to a successful trip! This hotel is very close to Xinghai Square, and across the bridge is an amusement park. The paths are flat, perfect for strollers or 'baby walkers' (though the area right outside the hotel entrance has cobblestones, which can be a bit bumpy for strollers). The room environment is excellent. We are a family of five – four adults and one child – and stayed in the 'Star Blue' room, which was perfectly spacious. It had a 1.8m bed downstairs plus a tatami mat upstairs, and even a single sofa that could be used for sleeping. The space felt generous. There's also a private little courtyard where you can hang kids' clothes to dry (as long as it's not raining). The hotel has a laundry room with a dryer, so no more bringing dirty clothes home!

My stay at The Castle Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel in Dalian, was absolutely perfect! The hotel is located right on Xinghai Bay, and its castle-like architecture is grand and magnificent. The room was spacious and bright, with unbeatable sea views – I could see the blue sea and sky right from my window every morning. The service was impeccable, from the concierge to the room staff, truly reflecting Marriott's high-end brand standards. It's also conveniently located next to Xinghai Square, making getting around very easy. During check-out, Dansey asked about my stay and resolved any issues very well. I highly recommend it to travelers seeking quality!

Unfortunately, this hotel turned out to be the worst of my entire two-week trip around China. The staff was friendly, but they didn't speak any English. Overall, the hotel didn't seem particularly foreign-friendly. Simple requests like a fruit bowl or an adapter to charge phone baffled them. When I checked in, I found a clump of long black hair on the bathroom floor. I had to ask them to wash the floors again. The hotel didn't offer any apologies or compliments for this situation. Breakfasts were the most disappointing part. This hotel was the only place in China where I had a bad meal😭 The noodles and even the stewed cabbage were swimming in oil, everything was overly vinegary and garlicky, and there were no fruits, vegetables, or desserts. I ate there only twice in five days, and both times I suffered from severe heartburn. The positive moments are an ideal location and comfortable beds and pillows. I slept well there, even though the room's windows overlooked the highway and not the park as stated when booking.

The overall experience of staying at Howard Johnson Jingyue Hotel in Dalian was good. The hotel is in a very good location, very close to Xinghai Square, it is very convenient to go to the surrounding area to eat, drink and play. In particular, I want to praise the breakfast, which is rich in variety, Chinese and Western styles, and the taste is also very online. It is very satisfying to eat. I will consider staying here next time I come to Dalian.

Convenient for going out, and the breakfast was quite good. The sea view at Grand Hyatt Dalian is definitely the best in the city, situated right on Xinghai Square, with the beach just a short walk downstairs. The fan-shaped layout ensures almost every room has a sea view, with floor-to-ceiling windows directly facing the Xinghai Bay Bridge. The evening lights create a fantastic atmosphere. The heated pool offers great views, allowing you to enjoy the seascape even while swimming. The 'Chef's Table' buffet has a rich variety, especially with a good selection of seafood and desserts. The overall service was proper, and check-in efficiency was acceptable. The only minor drawbacks are that the hotel has been open for many years, so some facilities show a bit of age, and during peak season, breakfast can get crowded, requiring a wait for a table. If you're coming to Dalian and want to experience the city's premier sea view, the Grand Hyatt remains an excellent choice. You can enjoy the entire bay from the comfort of your bed, making for a very pleasant vacation experience.

I happened to be in Dalian during the Davos conference, and I thought it would be hard to book a hotel, but it turned out to be fine. I really liked the one I booked. The transportation was convenient, with a free subway directly to it, the staff were efficient, and the room was clean. After checking in, I went out for a city walk. Zhongshan Square has a lot of history, with diverse architectural styles that are quite captivating. I even stumbled upon a Midsummer Night Symphony Concert, which was a pleasant surprise – Dalian truly is a romantic city!
