"While there are limited parking spots directly in front of the hotel, there's a spacious parking lot around the back, complete with EV charging stations! We had booked a king room but were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a family room. The room also came equipped with a humidifier, which was a nice touch. We had a pretty good stay overall! On the 6th floor, there's a laundry room with nine washing machines, though no tumble dryers. However, they provide a drying area. I'd heard clothes could dry in just over an hour; being from the humid south, I was naturally skeptical. But I gave it a try, and to my surprise, it actually worked! This place is truly incredibly dry!"

"Very satisfied, booked the hotel to pick us up, the girl was very talkative, helped to book a one-day tour of the west line after arriving at the hotel, and also enthusiastically sent us a public account for the Mogao Grottoes on the second day, and told us how to make an appoin**ent. Riding a camel at Mingsha Mountain in the afternoon was super sunny! In the evening, a performance of Ledong Dunhuang was arranged. It was really a one-stop service. Anyone who has an itinerary but doesn't know how to arrange it can contact this girl."

AAna MariaWhen I arrived, I have had some problems because my room was too noisy. The staff was unable to solve the problem but once 李远兴 (Manager Li) was informed, she immediately took care of the problem and changed me to a very nice room without any noise from outside. And the room is fantastic! Once again, I want to thank Manager Li for her great job! Because of the excellent way by which she solved the problem, I even stayed two more days in this hotel. So, I truly recommend this hotel. Thank you Manager Li!!

MM15543****I stumbled upon this newly opened hotel and booked it because I liked the facilities. When I contacted customer service, the sales director offered a lot of advice and even upgraded me to a family room. At the airport, the hotel picked me up in a Mercedes-Benz. The front desk staff was very friendly and attentive. The room was just as pictured: spacious and clean. The floorboards are a great option for those who don't like carpet. The hotel is a convenient ten-minute walk from the night market. The restaurant's portions are surprisingly generous. The braised pork is served in a bowl, haha, and it's delicious. Since my return flight was late, they even gave me a free late checkout. I'm so grateful to the sales director and the front desk staff. I highly recommend this hotel.

GGuest UserThe room was exceptionally clean, and the service was incredibly attentive. In the lobby, there were always complimentary apricot tea, coffee, candies, and fruits available. The staff even went above and beyond by bringing us watermelon and yogurt. The breakfast spread was absolutely delicious, and all the hotel's amenities and services were top-notch. The location is fantastic, very close to Dunhuang Night Market. If you're traveling with kids, Shazhou Night Market is literally right at your doorstep, and the famous Flying Apsara sculpture is just to the left. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Dunhuang.

GGuest UserFuguo was so new when we visited in April 2025 that it was still being constructed around us! The staff made great efforts to minimize disruption and noise, and the room was very clean since it was basically new! Special thanks to Xiao Tian and the others at the front desk for going above and beyond for helping us locate a lost item, including contacting the business and arranging a courier to retrieve the lost item. Breakfast was great, too, and the breakfast staff very accommodating! The only caveat (especially for Western guests un-used to the ubiquitous smoking habit in China): we had a wonderful time at Fuguo hotel partially because this was the only truly non-smoking facility we encountered during our trip to China. Because it was so new, the hotel did not have the smell of smoke in its general areas or within the non-smoking rooms. However, while leaving on our last day, we noticed that a large group of guests took up residence and immediately started smoking in the elevator and lobby. We recommend the hotel reinforces its non-smoking policy - as stated on the lobby signs - so that all guests can breathe comfortably.

AAnonymous UserThe location of the hotel is easy to find, it is very convenient to take a taxi anywhere, and it is close to several attractions in the city.
Facilities: The facilities are complete, mainly the hotel room is equipped with a humidifier, which is very considerate for people who are not used to the dry weather in Dunhuang.
Hygiene: The bedding, bath towels, and bathroom are very clean. After staying in the room and going out to play, the room will be cleaned and the bath towels will be changed every day.
Environment: Very quiet, very good rest.
Service: The service is in place, and they will ask in advance whether you need to bring breakfast or beef noodles across the street.
A hotel with a relatively high cost performance, I will choose it next time I come!

BBerrrrrrrrrWe got free upgrade to the suite so that was nice. Very pretty river view and not as noisy as some of the reviews I've read. Probably because the weather was getting chilly.
Room was very spacious, even for just the size of the bedroom alone. Bed was comfortable and not too soft. But I will say that the light switches in the rooms and also the smart toilet seat were very confusing. Strangely, it had a large bathtub area, but a separate and very squished shower closet. The water didn't quite drain properly also.
Breakfast was okay. But considering how the city really is just a town in the desert, I'd say it's actually pretty good. The local restaurants are also options, but we had to get up super early for day trips, and didn't feel like freezing outside to look for food when it's still dark. Side note, the night market in town is nice but not much going on outside of that area.
The hotel is not in the city centre, but since the city is small, taxi is the way to go. We actually end up just getting the phone number of one of the taxi driver, and called her whenever we planned to head out.
I chose the hotel based on aesthetics and was not disappointed. But our suite was in the end of a very long hallway, so get ready to walk if you are not near the elevator.

Riding a camel through the sand dunes and watching the sunrise and sunset are extremely beautiful; sand sliding and desert motorcycles bring full of dynamism and vitality. Cleanliness: The room was surprisingly clean. No weird smell.
Facilities: Free toiletries are provided. The bathroom is spacious. The eco-friendly slippers are comfortable, but you can’t take them away.
Environment: Entering the hall, it is cozy, warm and the heating is very good.
Service: The beauties in the lobby are enthusiastic and warm.
To emphasize, heating is very good in winter. The bedding was clean and tidy. We stayed for two days and went out to the scenic spot on the second day. They cleaned and tidied the room without any request.
It is convenient to eat. There is an authentic beef noodle restaurant opposite the hotel, a convenience store next door, and a large supermarket around the corner, which is open on New Year's Eve. A perfect trip to Dunhuang! Dunhuang of the world, where my heart longs for!
