"It really is sweeter the second time around! I’m back at Sotogrande and once again, they did not disappoint. We had a sudden change of plans and needed a room around 4:00 PM to attend a local event. I was impressed that they could accommodate a same-day booking so smoothly. Sir Kim handled our check-in and was a lifesaver—he got us processed quickly because we were in a rush, and the security and their good personnel team was very hands-on helping us with our things. After the event, returning to the hotel at 9:00 PM was the highlight of my day. The room was incredibly comfy. Even though we were too tired for the pool and malapit na ata mag-close that time the hot shower and bathtub were pure luxury. My companion, who is very familiar with the high-end hotels in BGC, was genuinely impressed that the service and amenities here could easily compete with Manila’s best. The next day, you cannot miss the breakfast buffet! The quality is top-tier. The chicken sotanghon and beef tapa were delicious, but the adobo was the absolute winner for me. 🤤 Around 11:40 am, we went to the Upper Ground for a check out. What makes this hotel special is the people. Ms. Cess recognized me immediately even with my mask and cap on! She assisted with our check-out today (and, along with Sir Josh,) was the reason my first stay here was so memorable. Thank you, Sotogrande, for the ”top class” hospitality. I’m already planning to bring my parents and friends next time to show them why this is the best spot in Batangas!"

"Three friends and I stayed here during a trip to the Philippines. From Manila Airport, we first traveled to the bus terminal in Manila city, then took a two-hour bus ride from Manila to Batangas, and then a one-hour taxi ride from there. If possible, I think it would be easier to charter a car from Manila. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. We had a great time relaxing by the pool and trying our hand at diving. There's nothing around the hotel, so we had to eat at the hotel restaurant, but the food was of very high quality and delicious. They also had a few Japanese dishes, such as tonkatsu, which was nice. Overall, the prices were high for a resort hotel, but it was a great experience worth the price."

"Very nice place to stay with families,mganda ung weather nung pumunta kmi kasi d masyado mainit at mejo windy kaya mganda pwede mgswim s pool though ung beachfront d tlga pwede mgswim pero u can hunt sea shells and small crabs s seashore kasi mangrove area kasi sya…mejo limited ung plated breakfast nila pero okay n rin…mganda room na double cabana very spacious khit 6 pax kau carry p rin…highly recommended!!!!"

"I bought it when it was expensive, so it was a bit pricey. I think it would be good value if you book early enough! There isn't much around the hotel, which was a bit surprising, but it does have a pool. If you only look for the best, there are many good hotels out there."

"Amazing location and environment but: parking lot was full ( way too small) and we had to park far away and go by shuttle to the lobby. Also the breakfast area in the hotel is too small, we needed to walk to the next building.  convenience store or supermarket nearby. The drain in the shower is too small and water raises and runs into the bathroom. The room is large but the furnituring is incomplete ( no second bed cabinet, no hanger, no rack for the luggage ). The staff was constantly stressed and overwhelmed by the high number of guests at the weekend. Nevertheless the stay was fine as the garden and the food was great."

"Has bidet, good wifi. Great view of taal. Spacious environment. Hospitality staff is attentive. Facilities are old, restaurant food isn’t good (thankfully place is accessible to main Tagaytay road). If you’re looking for a place in Tagaytay to stay but mean to be out most of the time, this is a good option."

"1N2D Stay for Couple - July 2025 Loved everything and will absolutely book again. Our room was upgraded for free and had an outdoor tub. The room was huge and had a lot of sitting areas. Bed was king size and comfortable and clean. Smart TV can connect to YouTube but you need to sign in to your own Netflix account. Bathroom was huge. I think the room needs more hangers, complementary shampoo, reusable room slippers, scented candle/diffuser and it would be just perfect. Wifi was also fast. Breakfast buffet at pesce was cleansing and delicious for us. Loved walking around the farm, swimming at the pools, and the other services plus, the staff of the farm are very friendly and helpful. Had dinner at the Upperdeck and food was also good and yummy and it felt romantic because a guitarist and a singer serandes us."

"The place was quiet and relaxing. All the staffs were so Warm and friendly. We were able to avail Promo discounts on their special relaxing activities like Kawa Bath,Ice bath, himalayan Salt room, steam sauna… Our wellness Butler Rob was so accommodating and even kind. Foods are I can say at the right price for it’s taste. For me, It’s delicious … 👍🏻👍🏻 Over all “ A relaxing place to go” 💕💕k"

"Hotel service is great, reasonable food price for a resort Clean environment , Room is clean. But the washroom needs improvement 1, Bathtubs higher than the deck during the shower causing water flows on the ground , Floor gets wet and won't dry till overbite . 2, The shower water temperature fluctuates between hot and cold making it difficult to maintain a comfortable shower,"
