Hotels in Harbin Railway West Station/ Wanda Plaza, Harbin

I chose Mercure last minute for my business trip to Harbin, and it turned out to be the most heartwarming experience. I had an early morning high-speed train, so I checked out at 5 AM. The front desk lady, seeing how tired I was, proactively offered me a cup of hot ginger tea and softly said, 'It's cold outside, warm yourself up before you go.' My fatigue instantly disappeared. What touched me even more was that the night before, because of the rain, I casually mentioned, 'It's so cold in Northeast China, my hands are frozen stiff.' The next morning, the housekeeping auntie quietly left a bunch of heat patches by my door with a note: 'It's cold, stay warm.' The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft, and the soundproofing was excellent. The breakfast featured authentic Northeastern dishes, both comforting and delicious. From check-in to check-out, the staff were consistently smiling and patient, proactively helping with luggage, calling taxis, and recommending local food. When you're constantly on the go, this kind of thoughtful warmth is truly invaluable. Mercure isn't just a hotel; it feels more like a temporary home. Next time I'm in Harbin, I will definitely stay here again and recommend this warmth to all my friends.

The hotel I stayed in during this trip was impeccable and must be rated five stars! From the enthusiastic and efficient check-in at the front desk to the thoughtful and considerate room service, every step made people feel warm. The room was warm and elegant, the bedding was comfortable, and I had a good night's sleep. The hotel's dining was rich and delicious, and the facilities such as the gym and laundry room were also available. Next time I travel, this hotel will definitely be my first choice!

Positives: The rooms are really cool and different from any other hotel we've stayed at in China. The location was great. It was a short walk to a metro station and had a great mall (Wanda Plaza) within walking distance. Cons: The hotel was noisy. We could hear our neighbors talking, we could hear the sound of light switches being switched on and off constantly. People in the hallway were noisy. This isn't necessarily the hotels fault, but the noise insulation between rooms is not the best, so if you are a light sleeper (like me) then pack in some earplugs. The mattress was also not the best - every time my partner moved, It woke me up.

The hotel boasts an excellent location with convenient transportation access, making it incredibly easy to get around. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was also very good – I slept soundly all night. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and the room service was prompt and responsive. Any requests were quickly resolved, which made me feel very well taken care of. Overall, for this price, to enjoy such service and environment, it truly offers excellent value for money.

The hotel is not located along with the hotel lobby. The room is located in another unit, sharing the building with different hotels or commercial unit. Room card needed to reach the designated floor. Clean and quiet hotel, room is spacious with competitive rate. The only downside is if you ordered a delivery, some time the rider could not find you. My order was dislocated and I couldn’t find it at the end of the

The bath water is large and the shower shampoo is of good quality. The smart toilet is easy to use, there are many varieties of breakfast, but the sound insulation effect is slightly poor.

The environment is very good. The proprietress is also very enthusiastic. The house smells good. Most importantly, it is very comfortable to stay in.
