Hotels in Taka-Töölö, Helsinki

A basic hotel in an ok location. Really nice employees at the reception. Great views from the sauna upstairs, but otherwise impractical facilities in the sauna/shower section. You had to leave your shoes in the hallway if you didn't want your socks to get wet when you went to the ”changing room”, and when you put your shoes on it would be good to have a chair to sit on. Only three showers available, so you had to queue to get in the shower. A hotel popular with families with children, so the swimming pool was noisy and full of splashes. Similarly, there was always someone coming in through the door slowly with a group of children at the sauna, so the steam baths were missed. Nice that fresh croissants were served to the tables at breakfast. The bar waiter had his own strong opinions about what is good beer and what is not. I have understood that the first lesson of a customer service person is that the customer is always right. I got the feeling that I don't understand anything about good beer when I said what I like. I didn't feel good about that encounter.

The hotel is located close to the city center, about 10 minutes' drive. The feeling of space in the room is okay, and there is a heating line under the bathroom. Breakfast is absolutely fine. The only shortcoming is that the House keeping service is not in place. After using the shampoo at night, it was not replaced tomorrow morning. There was no refill after finishing the coffee. The garbage on the floor was not cleaned. However, the beds are changed every day. The hotel's facilities include a heated swimming pool and sauna. There is also a fitness room. All are satisfied. 

Short but lovely stay. Basic but functional amenities. Short walk to the tram which connects you with the city center within 10 minutes. Supermarkets, restaurants and parks all around for a quick fix

location was super convenient, we were a 3 mins walk away from the Central Railway Station which connects you to other places in Helsinki quickly and efficiently. breakfast selection can be varied as we stayed for a couple of nights but the selection remained the same everyday. but overall, really enjoyed our stay! :) thank you for the amazing service provided especially at the reception where we experienced difficulties with our flight and they were kind enough to assist us throughout.

Very comfortable

This is where I got my membership thanks to the very kind reception Jansen if Im not mistaken. He is very accommodating and kind . I like this Hotel . I even got upgraded to Jr Suite in Gothenburg .

It takes 10-15 minutes to walk from the central train station. Because of the slope, although the straight-line distance is not far, it is still a bit difficult to walk with a suitcase. The hotel is very good overall, but the surrounding area is under renovation. There was originally a park behind, but it seems to be blocked. The lobby is very beautiful, and there are ice lemonade, snacks, and fruit supplies. The waiter is also very nice, but the room is very small. I can't see the area when booking. I guess it's only 15 or 16 square meters? We almost had no place to put our two large suitcases. Fortunately, the bathroom is not bad and not small. The room is also very clean. It takes ten minutes to walk to the White Church and ten minutes to the pier. There is also a bus stop downstairs, which is quite convenient. You have to take a bus or an electric scooter to go to the Rock Church, Sibelius Park, etc. Overall, except for the small space, it is not bad, and the breakfast is also very good.
