Chitose Hotels with Hot Tub

"Love this hotel. It was clean and easy to find. A bit near the train station, there’s a 7-11 right across the street, near the bus stop as well. Uber is like 1 minute away. Love the room amenities and toiletries."

"For Japan, the room wasn't small; it was actually pretty good. You could easily open two or three suitcases without any issues. For a 'pigeon-coop' hotel in Japan, you can't ask for much more. The lady at the front desk and a slightly plump guy were both very enthusiastic and had excellent attitudes. I went during a very sensitive time, and there were absolutely no problems. I'm not sure if they spoke Chinese or English, so I can't comment on that. The hotel is not far from the JR station, maybe a 10-minute walk. Breakfast is served at the izakaya next door, which was decent and filling, and they even offer airport transfers. If you need to go to the airport, this is definitely the place to book. Otherwise, if you're coming from Hakodate or some other remote place, it's quite a long journey, and if you miss your train, you might have to wait several hours for the next JR. Staying here in advance is the safest bet. The only minor drawback, if I had to name one, is that there aren't many shopping centers or entertainment options nearby, and it gets dark early. If you're flying home, you absolutely, positively must book this place!!"

"The hotel is easy to find. The receptionist was a very polite and well-mannered elderly gentleman who helped us check in, confirmed our airport transfer time, and reminded us of the precautions for using the hot springs. The room was indeed small and showed signs of age, but it was still clean and tidy. As a temporary accommodation, we were quite satisfied. There's an Aeon Mall just five minutes away, with a wide variety of goods at reasonable prices, much cheaper than at the airport."

"I chose this hotel as a culminating place to stay before flying back home as it was close to Aron Mall and my family would enjoy a last minute shopping.  It turned out to have an outstanding breakfast buffet and wonderful grilling restaurant for dinner.  Very helpful staff as well.  It’s the kind of big traditional hotel where you can breathe a sigh of relief as they actually clean the room daily!"

"This was my second stay at this hotel. As usual, the hotel provided free transportation to New Chitose Airport and breakfast. Although the facilities are a bit old, they are well-maintained and clean. I will choose daiichi hotel again on my next trip to sapporo."

"The Good: - Room is big (enough for 3 person). - Toilet & Bathroom are Separated. - Have Stove, Microwave oven, utensils, etc. - Easy to rent car as there are many car rental shops nearby. - only 1 station from airport. The Bad: - No people stationed after office hours. Need to use tablet at reception to talk to a ”Cloud Receptionist” thru' web call. - Their speaking English is not bad but thru' web calls is not exactly clear. - The door safety guard lock is already broken (see picture) when we arrived. Reported to the ”Cloud Receptionist” but he is not able to help after having difficulties explaining to them especially the web cam is not working when I call. Unable to show them the photos. They asked me to email the photos to them but their email inbox is full & got delivery failure. After a long waste of time & knowing they are unable to help (they try to), we just forget it. Hoping that the PIN of our room door is not known by others as it is the only security that lock the door. - There is a step just before the ”beds” (which are just mattresses on the floor) caused many tripping. - No shops nearby that can buy food. The walk from Minami Chitose station is ok about less than 10mins but the ground is a bit uneven & empty at night. Not easy if luggage is big & alone."

"This newly opened hotel is absolutely top-notch in terms of facilities, complete with a hot spring. As soon as you step in, you're greeted with a spacious and comfortable atmosphere, and the rooms are generously sized. The staff's service attitude is excellent, but the real highlight is the diverse and delicious breakfast – it really starts your day off feeling happy and content. Plus, the transportation is super convenient; it's about a 15-minute bus ride from the airport. It's a reassuring choice whether you're traveling for business or leisure. There's also a large supermarket within a 10-minute walk. Highly recommended!"

"Here's a review/guide: 1. Honestly, the location is quite remote. The last bus from Chitose Station is at 4 PM. If you're coming from central Sapporo, you'd probably need to leave by 2 PM. I left at 3:30 PM and missed it, ending up paying 14,000 JPY for an Uber. 2. The service, however, was excellent. Upon arrival, they inform you of dinner times, and for breakfast, you can choose between 7 AM or 9 AM. 3. There's also a 9:30 AM shuttle bus to the airport for 1,300 JPY, but it's annoying that they only accept cash. So, I took the free 11 AM shuttle that dropped me off at Chitose train station instead. 4. You can see a picture of the dinner menu (Photo 1). Breakfast is similar to dinner, just without sashimi and with tofu instead. 5. They mentioned a beautiful sunset, but I didn't get to see it. It's probably best to arrive early. 6. There's a pretty lake nearby. I took a quick look in the morning, and I personally think it would make for great photos, especially if paired with the sunset the hotel mentioned. 7. The onsen (hot spring) is private. I didn't try any others, so I can't comment on them. 8. There really are deer nearby! I saw them twice when they drove me to the station in the morning, but unfortunately, the car was too fast for me to get a picture."
