"Due to a flight cancellation, we changed our original itinerary and arrived in Japan a day early. We chose to stay near the airport for a night. You can reach the hotel from the airport by bus or train; the bus stop is very close to the hotel. There's a 7-Eleven right across the street, and you can also walk straight to Aeon.
We booked a quad room, which was very comfortable for three of us. I don't like small rooms, and this hotel offers spacious rooms at a great price. It was really clean and nice.
There's also a small park near the hotel, and the treehouse-like structure by the entrance offers free book rentals. It's adorable!"

"This was my third stay, and I chose this hotel again because my previous two experiences were so good. However, this time was truly unacceptable. We arrived at the hotel around 11 AM. My daughter had injured her leg while skiing, so we asked the middle-aged woman at check-in if we could check in early. She said yes, but we'd have to pay for an additional day – what a rip-off! The funny thing is, they told us we could wait in the lobby until 3 PM without paying. The lobby was nice, so we decided to wait there instead of wasting about 1700 RMB. But then, to our surprise, we saw the staff taking our luggage and other belongings to our room much earlier, while we weren't allowed to enter. Crazy! On top of that, the Wi-Fi signal this time was incredibly poor, almost unusable. Reporting it to the hotel didn't help either; we had to use our own data. So, this stay was truly, truly, truly disappointing! Attached is a photo of my daughter in a wheelchair, and they still wouldn't let us check in early. That middle-aged woman was so inhumane!"

"I had a wonderful stay at Air Terminal Hotel. The location is absolutely perfect since the hotel is directly inside the airport, making it extremely convenient, especially for travelers with early morning flights.
The airport itself has many shops, restaurants, snack stores, and convenience stores, so it’s very easy to find food, drinks, and anything you might need.
The room is compact but clean and comfortable. One of the highlights was the window view overlooking the airplanes — it was a unique and beautiful sight.✈️
😋Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of delicious options. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. The hotel also offers access to an onsen, which is a great feature, although I didn’t get the chance to try it because the queue was quite long.

"I chose this hotel because it was a bit closer to the airport for my flight the next day. Most of the hotel staff didn't speak English, and the long-haired girl with glasses at the front desk seemed quite impatient, though another slightly slimmer girl was very nice. Breakfast was a choice between Japanese and Western; it filled me up but wasn't particularly tasty. The complimentary shuttle bus to the airport on the hour from 6-9 AM was a nice touch."

"The hotel room was clean, comfortable, and the hotel is located near the train station in the quieter Chitose area, which made for a relaxing stay. The staff were friendly, helpful, and provided great room service. One of the biggest highlights was the convenient airport transportation, especially a huge relief when we had to manage our suitcases in the snow.
There is also a shopping mall near the hotel, along with a large shoe plaza offering many options at reasonable prices. The staff there were incredibly kind and provided excellent service, making the experience even more enjoyable."

"The biggest advantage of this hotel is its excellent location, right outside JR Chitose Station. Across from the JR station, there's an Aeon mall with McDonald's, KFC, Saizeriya, and Yoshinoya, making dining very convenient. Overall, the hotel offers average value for money. If you're not catching an early flight, I'd recommend staying in Sapporo instead."

"Of all the accommodations I've stayed at in Japan, this one has the best facilities and is up-to-date. You can even stream YouTube Premium on the TV. I booked this place the day before my flight, as I was looking for a cheap place to stay that was as close to the airport as possible due to the recent heavy snowfall that was on the news. I was so pleased with the facilities. The hotel is right in front of the airport, so you can take a city bus and then a limousine bus or train to get there, making it easy to get there. There's also a convenience store right across the street, so if you're worried about missing your flight due to heavy snowfall, I recommend staying here the day before your flight."

"For Japan, the room wasn't small; it was actually pretty good. You could easily open two or three suitcases without any issues. For a 'pigeon-coop' hotel in Japan, you can't ask for much more. The lady at the front desk and a slightly plump guy were both very enthusiastic and had excellent attitudes. I went during a very sensitive time, and there were absolutely no problems. I'm not sure if they spoke Chinese or English, so I can't comment on that. The hotel is not far from the JR station, maybe a 10-minute walk. Breakfast is served at the izakaya next door, which was decent and filling, and they even offer airport transfers. If you need to go to the airport, this is definitely the place to book. Otherwise, if you're coming from Hakodate or some other remote place, it's quite a long journey, and if you miss your train, you might have to wait several hours for the next JR. Staying here in advance is the safest bet. The only minor drawback, if I had to name one, is that there aren't many shopping centers or entertainment options nearby, and it gets dark early. If you're flying home, you absolutely, positively must book this place!!"

"This hotel offers good value for money overall, especially for those traveling by car, as the free parking is a huge convenience and saves the hassle of finding a spot. Check-in was efficient, and the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The room wasn't huge, but it was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was decent. GGuest UserThis is a very traditional Japanese onsen ryokan. If you've never experienced this type of hotel before, it's an excellent choice. As someone who appreciates home decor, I absolutely loved the small cabinets and ornaments throughout the hotel; they felt carefully selected. There were also welcome drinks near the front desk, and a certain milk tea was delicious – definitely worth trying!
The hotel offers a shuttle bus service from Chitose Station to the hotel. The pick-up from Chitose Station is at 2 PM, and the drop-off back to Chitose Station upon check-out is at 11 AM, which are very convenient times.
The lake next to the hotel is beautiful and peaceful, and I even saw deer in the morning. Overall, it's a great place to relax and enjoy the hot springs, and a wonderful experience on this Hokkaido trip!

GGuest UserThe hotel management is really poor. The public hot spring always has a sticky film on top, and there were foreign objects in the large pool where people lie down, almost cutting my skin. The worst part is that these things can't be removed. The day after soaking, my feet were incredibly itchy, probably due to a fungal infection. People with tattoos and whatnot were also soaking, and no one seemed to care. At 9 AM, staff members were walking around the hot spring area in outdoor snow boots, which was absolutely disgusting. And the funniest thing is, you have to take off your shoes when entering this hotel, and you're not allowed to wear slippers inside the entire hotel. I won't even mention the insufficient floor heating; walk around in socks for a bit, and white socks turn grey. Luggage can be wheeled through freely, so just imagine how dirty it must be. The dinner buffet was mediocre. I ordered a glass of red wine and had a headache all day afterward. The breakfast buffet the next day, however, was decent. I probably won't go back and hope they seriously improve their management. Don't tarnish the Tsuruga brand.

This is a century-old hotel with natural hot springs, and its pros and cons are quite obvious.
The transportation is a bit inconvenient, and the rooms are quite basic. However, dinner was pretty good. There are quite a few bugs... It would be even better if there was an option to just enjoy the hot springs without staying overnight!

Although the room is small, its modern minimalist design is thoughtfully laid out, maximizing space and making movement easy. A nice touch is the provision of two-piece pajamas for guests. The buffet for both dinner and breakfast offers a wide variety of delicious options. Overall, a comfortable and well-designed stay with great dining choices.

SSurasak PremchitIt’s a compact hotel located near the JR station, just a few minutes walk to the hotel. There is a free shuttle service to the airport, but you have to show your intention when checking in. The reception staff is very attentive. The room is fully equipped. I will come back to stay here again when I have a chance.

WWahida ZainuddinIt is located near only 1 stop JR station before going to New Chitose Airport. Very easy to find. Self check in is also easy just follow the instructions given. Spacious room and complete with all amenities including fridge, stove, microwave and there is a washing machine too! It suitable for staying if the flight is in the morning because the earliest time to the airport by JR train is at 6.40am. Suitable as a last stop before returning

GGuest UserThe hotel staff is very nice in helping us checking in and gave us 4 tokens for the vending machine (we're a group of 5). Each coin worth 150 JPY. The onsen is clean and safe, separate floor for men and women onsen. For women, there will be a code to enter when entering the onsen on the 14th floor. The room is clean and the AC works well. Great overall experience. The hotel also offers a free shuttle bus to the airport. 8 people per bus.

GGuest UserThe room had a large heater, so it was super warm inside. The space was decent, with a sofa, a coffee table, and a desk against the wall. Breakfast was pretty good and quite refined. It's very close to the JR station. The breakfast area turns into an izakaya at night. Sometimes, though, it's closed, and you have to find another place to eat. The front desk staff can speak English. If you have any questions, you can email them in advance.

Wwoo 張Originally, we only stayed here for one night due to a flight connection, but the experience far exceeded our expectations! The hotel offers great amenities like an on-site hot spring, massage chairs, and a gym. Plus, the complimentary ochazuke (tea rice) for late-night snacks was such a nice touch—perfect after a long day of traveling. What’s more, they provide free airport shuttle service, which saved us a lot of trouble.
In the morning, the golden sunlight streaming through the courtyard was absolutely stunning, adding a peaceful and beautiful start to our day.
Considering all these, the price is really reasonable and worth it. Highly recommend this place for transit travelers!

晶晶姐The hotel has a new wing, and I was lucky enough to stay there. The room was spacious with a small living room. The refrigerator was small but had both freezer and refrigerator doors. The bathroom was separate, but I was a bit surprised that there was no sink in the toilet. However, it was very new. There was a coffee machine on the first floor, available for self-service from 3 pm to 9 pm. Although it's about a 7-10 minute walk from the station, it's a hotel I would stay at again.
