Solidaridad Hotels with Hot Tub

"Our stay was beautiful, I will not deny that. However it was not without a few letdowns. I am a woman who is all about a pool and was so excited to swim in the absolutely gorgeous pool I saw in all the photos online. I visited the week of Jan 1- Jan 7th and the weather was quite warm about 75 degrees every day. HOWEVER, the pool was absolutely FREEZING to the point where I was shivering being in it. Felt like an ICE BATH :( It was not enjoyable and with this being a secluded/ all inclusive hotel there weren't very much other forms of entertainment during the day except for the pool and the beach (the water was warm at the beach). It was so disappointing. I called the front desk to ask if anything could be done but they stated was no pool heater/temperature adjuster. We paid about 4 grand total for this trip and to be completely honest were only able to enjoy the pool once. My next complaint comes to the beach. We went to the beach which gets pretty bus. There was a day where every single chair was full and two of the hotel cabanas were being taken over by random street vendors - taking away two spots for the guests from the 100% packed beach area. These guys were NOT a part of the hotel and are the vendors who go around trying to sell cigars, etc. I watched the staff pass by them multiple times and say nothing while ACTUAL GUESTS had nowhere to lounge by the beach. That was very disappointing as these guys were laughing loudly, staring at guests, and did not move as people walked by looking for chairs. Other than that I will admit that the food was great, the staff was super nice, the hotel grounds were IMPECCABLE, the rooms were nice, everything else was quite lovely. But for the reasons listed I will not be staying at this all inclusive again, although you can still make the most of it and have a lovely experience overall. I'd recommend a stay if you're not going for the main reason of enjoying the pool and the beach."

"The hotel location was really great. It's just one street away from a very lively and loud street, so the hotel is in a calm location during the day. However, at night, during the weekends it still gets noisy until 2 am. It's only a five minute walk to the beach which was full of sargassum the time we were there. The room was a good size in the bed was very comfortable. We also used the gym which was fairly equipped and the pool look good, although very narrow. Our stay included breakfast, which was à la carte where you choose one main dish/person and 3 drinks (which only included black coffee, juice and tea). Not really worth it for a short stay in my opinion. First day we had an issue with the breakfast order and the restaurant staff handled it poorly, but it was ultimately resolved with the reception staff, Alma, stepping in. I have to thank Alma for being so understanding and kind to us, every day during our day. We also had an issue of missing some cash, and I think the manager handled it really well; the investigation, giving us the update, all of it."

"It was AMAZING! I had such a great time there! The staff were super friendly and the food was delicious. I made sure to eat and drink as much as possible, I think I ate too much! There is only a buffet breakfast and lunch and dinner at the restaurants. It's à la carte (if you paid for the package) and you can order as much food as you want. Mexican food for lunch and Italian or Mexican food for dinner (you have to book for dinner). I also love that the rooftop bar has unlimited great food for the whole day. The pool area was nice and so was the furniture. My room was huge and very spacious, I did not have the best view which didn't matter because I was upstairs on the rooftop for most of the time. They also stock the room fridge with soft drinks and beer which are unlimited. Each floor has a water cooler machine and an ice machine which was great when it came to refilling my water bottles. I think it's a great idea instead of the single use water bottles. I highly recommend staying here, my only regret was not staying here longer. I will be back in the future! "

"Actually the price/performance ratio is average, but the hotel staff are so caring! ! The Mexican staff, who didn't speak English well, saw our couple stay in, and helped us arrange the room the next day during our outing. The flowers on the bed were picked fresh! ! Carefully help us occupy the parking space every day! Very simple! ! Super considerate of guests!"

"The hotel is beautifully situated in the heart of Playa del Carmen. The staff is friendly and polite, making you feel welcome. There are several restaurants and a good variety of drinks and food. Unfortunately, the area isn’t safe—my bag was stolen, and we also witnessed a very serious car accident with fatalities. The hotel itself is great, but due to the safety concerns, I wouldn’t return to Cancun/Playa del Carmen."

"Very big, this price is a very good room. It was our double bed that was a bit noisy by the elevator There were activities nearby that night and it was not very noisy. If it weren't for the gym, I could stay here for a long time."

"The hotel was incredible and very stylish. The room was absolutely amazing. The ammenities, the services were exceptional. Also the food and drinks were really high level. The staff was very professional. We really enjoyed our honeymoon there. The staff did the best to make it special and unforgettable. The only negative was the huge amount of sargassum at Maroma Beach. The hotel cleaned its beach side every morning and they did a really good job, however the neighbour hotel, Catalonia did not. I felt very sorry for their guests who had to smell all day long the rotten sargassum. "

"Property was developed in 2017 - but similar to other constructions in Mexico it was developed hastily and with poor materials. The wear and tear on the property, and lack of maintenance is noticeable. As for the plumbing situation, the stench of sewage came from the bathroom every night. When the neighbours showered, you could hear the water system very loudly. In general, it was more of a 3.5- 4 star hotel - definitely not 5."
