"With so many new luxury boutique hotels emerging in recent years, it had been a long time since I last stayed at a Shangri-La, and I'd even forgotten I was a member. Changchun was the first stop on my Northeast China trip. After doing some online research and considering location and star rating, I chose the pricier Shangri-La over Hampton by Hilton, wondering if its facilities and services might be outdated due to its age. My worries were completely unfounded. Before my car even pulled up, the concierge was already waiting at the door. The young man at the front desk was very attentive and generously offered a complimentary breakfast. The room was spacious, had a great view, and came with all the expected amenities – exactly what you'd expect from a five-star hotel. It brought to mind the saying among movie enthusiasts: 'Even an old Ferrari is still a Ferrari.' Similarly, I'd say, 'Even an old Shangri-La is still a Shangri-La.' P.S. The welcome snack was a bit meager and could use some improvement. Next time I'm in Changchun, I'll definitely stay here again!"

"The hotel has complete facilities. The front desk is very nice. It helps to upgrade the room type and check in is very convenient. The hotel is in a good location. It is very close to Youshan Wuyue Plaza. There are many delicious restaurants nearby and the transportation is convenient. It is very comfortable to stay and I will come again"

"1/ The room I was assigned was the last one, but there was no reminder on the booking page. I found out it was the last one when I arrived at the door of the room. After arriving at the hotel, the front desk did not remind me of the arrangement of the last room. It was uncomfortable to go up and down the stairs. There was a young man lying on the sofa next to the front desk. Can our front desk remind the guests? The quilt had holes in it, which was not good."

"This hotel absolutely deserves a glowing, detailed review. I had originally planned to spend New Year's Eve here, but unfortunately, I contracted COVID. Despite having a confirmed reservation, the hotel staff cancelled it for me without any hesitation, which I truly appreciated. This time, I made sure to stay. Arriving was easy: from Changchun Station, Light Rail Line 4 brought me directly to Haikou Station. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and offered a complimentary upgrade to a Superior King Room. The room itself was incredibly spacious, and fresh fruit was delivered daily. Its location right next to the Yitong River was perfect for relaxing evening strolls after dinner and invigorating morning runs. Breakfast was also delicious, and for dinner, the hotel provides both Chinese and Japanese buffet options."

"This time, I visited Changchun and chose this hotel, drawn by the renowned Changbai Mountain. During check-in, the staff on duty were incredibly warm and generous; they directly upgraded my booking of one standard room night and one executive room night to two nights in an executive room. I was very impressed by this. The room was spacious, and the air conditioning was very responsive and worked perfectly. The room was also quiet, and the bedding was excellent, allowing me to rest very comfortably. The breakfast environment, variety, and quality were all commendable. The millet porridge was piping hot, and the chicken sausage tasted delicious. Overall, the breakfast experience was very enjoyable. Upon check-out, Duty Manager Li Yang warmly greeted me, inquired about my stay, and even escorted me to the door. The hotel's warm and attentive service, as grand and impressive as Changbai Mountain itself, left a wonderful impression. The hotel's location is also excellent; Nanhu Park, a large urban forest park, is just a short distance away, making it a fantastic accommodation option for tourists visiting Changchun."

"Facilities: Well-equipped, though they provided disposable bar soap on the sink instead of liquid hand soap. Hygiene: Acceptable, at a normal standard. Environment: The underground parking was quite convenient. Service: I very, very rarely leave negative reviews. In fact, on the night of check-in, the Guest Service Manager (GSM) even upgraded my room type, so I was initially planning to give a positive review. Around 10 PM on the night of check-in, there were no fresh welcome fruits left. It was agreed they would be delivered the next day around noon, and I explicitly informed them I would check out around 12 PM. The next day, just after 11 AM, someone rang the doorbell. As I was still in a deep sleep, it took me a moment to react when I heard it. I thought it might be the fruit delivery and intended to get out of bed to open the door. I had just gotten out of bed and needed to put on some clothes, so I told the person outside to wait a moment. Before I could even grab my clothes, the staff member opened the door and walked in themselves. Imagine the absolute shock and violation a woman feels standing half-dressed at her door, only to find her room door suddenly opened without permission! To make matters worse, it wasn't even the agreed-upon fruit delivery. Instead, they asked if I had any clothes for laundry. Is this such an urgent matter that you need to intrude into a guest's room without permission while they are resting? I can't conceive of any reasonable justification for this, short of a guest collapsing inside the room. The initial explanation I received was that housekeeping collects laundry from rooms in the morning. Shouldn't collecting laundry also require asking guests beforehand? If I didn't want the fruit and wanted to sleep until 2 PM, would I still be expected to specifically open the door for you in the morning to facilitate laundry collection? What if I hadn't opened the door? Wouldn't you have just entered directly anyway? I pay to rest and enjoy the service, not to be forced to comply with your so-called rule of 'we must enter your room at noon to collect your laundry, regardless of whether you are sleeping, showering, or dressed.' For a woman staying in a hotel, having her privacy invaded is certainly not a minor issue that can be resolved by merely offering some food and drinks."

"We are tourists from France visiting Changchun and Jilin, and this is our second time staying at this hotel. The hotel is right next to the airport, but the soundproofing is excellent. We called after getting off the plane, and the hotel shuttle arrived to pick us up in just ten minutes—super convenient! The front desk staff were particularly warm and spoke fluent English. Noticing our large group this time, they even upgraded our room for free. The space is very spacious, and the facilities are high-end. We especially loved the humidifier and the smart toilet! Highly recommended!"
