"Had a comfortable stay at this hotel! It is well situated at a convenient location with a 15mins stroll to the nearby mall. Facilities were well equipped, room was clean and breakfast was ample. It was sweet that they served fruit plate and dessert to my room during the evening. They have their own huge spa centre around the corner, though I only discovered it at the end of my sta. At the same time, the individually operated massage place at the hotel lobby was just as convenient. Highly recommended if you are staying in Shishi!"

"The lady at the front desk was incredibly attentive and immediately resolved any minor issues, even bringing us a fruit platter. The hotel offers great value for money. You can inform the front desk in advance about your flight times for complimentary airport pickup and drop-off, and it's close to the airport. The breakfast is abundant, and the rooms are clean, hygienic, and spacious. For just over 400 on a Saturday, it's excellent value."

As soon as I entered the lobby, the lights and decoration were intriguing, and the modern light luxury design felt full, and the instant goodwill was full. The check-in at the front desk was super fast and the welcome fruit was sent intimately. The room layout knows me too well. The low saturation color is matched with the right warm light, the atmosphere is directly full, and the fatigue is instantly dissipated. The bed is a zero-pressure foam mattress, the softness is perfect, there is no noise when you turn over, and it is matched with memory cotton pillows. It is called an ”efficient blood return” artifact when you sleep until dawn. Smart customer control is super convenient, you can switch lights and adjust air conditioning when you move your mouth, and the gospel of lazy people is undoubtedly. The minibar is rich in drinks, the small refrigerator is also very practical, and the details are full. Breakfast is both Chinese and Western, the ingredients are fresh, the noodle stalls and coffee are especially colorful, and the day is full of vitality. The service is also super intimate, and any needs can be responded quickly. The location is also very good, the surrounding food and attractions are all available, and the travel is super convenient. The configuration is also very complete. The style is a bit like the all-season configuration hhh. It can be used for washing and drying clothes, has a drying area, a terrace with a small garden, and a gym (running + strength). It is quite comfortable overall, and mainly clean. The hotel offers very spacious, modern, and impeccably clean rooms, with great attention to detail.
I stayed in a river-view room on the 25th floor, which offers a truly magnificent view, especially in the evening.
The mattress and bed linens are of excellent quality, ensuring a very comfortable night’s sleep.
The hotel is not located in the city center, but it is still convenient and well connected: about 15 minutes from the city center and approximately 35–40 minutes by taxi from the high-speed train station.
The only minor note is that the electrical plugs are Chinese-style only, so European plugs cannot be used. However, the room is equipped with USB and USB-C ports, which makes charging devices easy and convenient.
Overall, a very pleasant stay. Highly recommended for comfort, cleanliness, staff and room quality

It is dated and needs immediate full refurbishment. The quality of breakfast in the cafe is very poor, and there is room for improvement in respect of the service of some staffs. However, I have to express my appreciation of the execellant service extended to us by Miss Lisa Yang, the restaurant manger, who offered to buy for us sugar-free yogurt when she learned that we don’t take sugar-added yogurt due to health issues.
The Chinese restaurant is a bright spot in the hotel. The food and service provided there is sumptuous and outstanding. I would like to thank Miss Sally Chen for her unique hospitality and expert service, making us feel truly welcome, comfortable and valued.

Even as a foreigner with only basic Chinese skills, I felt completely at ease spending time in the tea room, exchanging thoughts with the host. Language wasn’t a barrier at all — tea became our shared language.
This was my first time staying in a tea house, and it left me with beautiful memories. If you're looking for something authentic, relaxing, and deeply rooted in local life and tea culture, Wanran is a must.

GGuest UserFrom my experience at 4 different accommodations in the Jinjiang/Quanzhou area, I have come to learn that the cleanliness (or rather, lack thereof) at this hotel is typical of this area at this price range. So I don’t want to make it sound worse than it deserves.
That said, the first thing I saw when I entered the room was a gross-looking tangle of hair on the floor. I sent a WeChat message to the person managing it, and to their credit they were very apologetic and sent someone to clean it up, which they did (I was gone at the time). When I got back, though, I was disappointed that although that particular tangle of hair had been cleaned up, the rest of the floor still had visible dust and who-knows-what on it. I ended up seeing a broom and dustpan in the hallway against another door, and I decided to briefly borrow it and quickly sweep my own floor so I didn’t have to feel like it was gross. After that it was ok.
Also, there was a sort of dank, unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom, which I believe is from the drain. The toilet is the kind that you are not supposed to flush toilet paper down (instead put it in the bin next to the toilet), so it’s also possible the smell was the result of that system after the previous occupant’s stay. There is a water problem in the bathroom such that when you take a shower, water ends up sitting in a kind of puddle on the floor near the sink, so it’s hard for the bathroom to ever be entirely dry, which no doubt also adds to the difficulty of keeping the bathroom smelling fresh.
The room itself was big and included a washing machine, which was very helpful! There was a little kitchen area and a kettle and such. Water bottles were supplied every day. The bed was comfortable and clean.
There was a sofa and a coffee table, and another sort of recliner seat near the window. Unfortunately the coffee table looked dirty (some sort of sticky residue on it) from the last occupant, so I didn’t want to put anything on it.
The location is right next to the Jinjiang airport, which is of course convenient for arriving or departing by plane. Checkin was done via WeChat - I just told them I had arrived, and they sent me a code for the door. There was no one at the front desk when I arrived, but I can’t say for sure that no one is ever there. Possibly if I had waited longer someone would have come, I don’t know.
For all the negative comments I had above, I want to repeat what I stated at the beginning - this level of cleanliness is apparently fairly normal for this price range in this area. I still think more effort could and should be put into making it a cleaner and more inviting space for customers, and things like the standing water problem in the bathroom should be fixed to prevent mold growth and such, but it’s also possible I just need to suck it up and spend more money on a better hotel room if I feel that my standard of cleanliness is so important.

GGuest UserAfter further experience, it seems that this place is typical for this area at this price range. So I guess I got what I paid for. But still, I was significantly disappointed by the lack of cleanliness.
The lobby seemed clean and new, but after that, the elevator, hallway, and room were disappointing. And although this room was a bit cleaner than a cheaper room at a different hotel nearby, the floor and bathroom were still noticeably dirty. There was a stain on the bedsheet, which I don’t doubt was perfectly sanitary, but still added to the impression of it being dirty. There were some free condoms and lube in a container near the bed, which made the place feel even more shady and unappealing.
Besides those things, it was fine. The breakfast on the top floor (you have to go up a set of stairs to get to it) was ok, though quite simple, Chinese-style breakfast items.
Overall, it was tolerable, and from experiencing a few other hotels later during my stay, I came to see that it’s hard to get anything much better than that for that price range. I paid about $28/night for this place. If you want a clean place to stay, you’ll probably have to pay a decent amount more money, probably more than $40.
