"The service and facilities here aren't quite up to the standard of other Sheratons. Lying in bed with the AC blowing directly on me was really uncomfortable. The TV picture was blurry and often had sound but no picture, requiring a restart. I really regret booking breakfast; we went around 7 AM, and the toppings for the noodles were already cold. Many of the stir-fries were also lukewarm and greasy. After my husband ate the noodles and then some fried fish bones, he rushed to the bathroom and vomited uncontrollably."

"Check-in was easy, and there are plenty of restaurants right downstairs. If you don't feel like heading to the busy city center, you can easily find all your meals here in Minjie. The nearby Baipu Market isn't far either. The room was clean and tidy, and customer service was very responsive. Overall, a good stay."

"Stayed for two days and overall, I'm satisfied (considering the room rate was over 900 for two days) 😂. My first impression was that there were a lot of people, and check-in at the front desk was quite slow. Apart from the lobby looking like it matched the price, everything else was just a normal apartment. Coming out of the underground parking exit, I was surprised to find a bumpy dirt road. The dinner and breakfast were both very rich and plentiful. It's very close to the beach, and the kids had a great time at the Naughty Castle 🏰. The cliffside infinity pool was extremely sunny and not very good, similar to the rooftop pools with stairs at other hotels, but this one also required climbing a hill. Plus, the path going down towards the sea was closed for maintenance, so we had to go back the way we came, and didn't get to see any nice scenery. Overall, I'm satisfied, but it's quite expensive. A bottle of yogurt at Meiyijia (a convenience store) was 13 yuan (usually 9 yuan). A room rate of around 300 yuan would be reasonable, and during holidays, 500 yuan would be acceptable. However, if it's 1000 yuan, I wouldn't recommend coming here; Hainan offers better facilities."

"My husband's hometown is Yangjiang, but we always stay at the Holiday Inn whenever we go back. There's a coffee shop and McDonald's downstairs, and their breakfast is really good too. The staff are super polite; they always smile and say hello whenever we see them in the elevator. The hygiene is also well-maintained. The only downside is that some rooms aren't big enough, but that's a hardware issue and has nothing to do with their service. Anyway, when my husband and I go back to his hometown, we're definitely staying at the Holiday Inn."

"First of all, a big thank you to the front desk staff for upgrading us to a partial sea view room. I had booked a room without breakfast. On the day of check-in, I either misheard or the front desk misspoke, but I thought I heard that two breakfasts were included, assuming it was a complimentary upgrade. However, the next day I was informed there was no breakfast. We ended up buying breakfast cards, and I found the variety of food choices to be quite good. But after breakfast on the first day, both my husband and I experienced stomach aches and diarrhea. Since we were traveling with a child and needed to take care of them, we had to take turns going to the restroom. On the first day, we ate the food shown in pictures one and two. We're not sure which specific item caused the problem. On the second day, we avoided cold and raw foods, sticking to cooked noodles, steamed eggs, and corn, and we didn't have any stomach issues. Since we visited midweek, the Western restaurant was closed, so we had dinner at the Chinese restaurant. The food at the Chinese restaurant was quite good and tasty! They provided kids' cutlery, which was very family-friendly. The hotel facilities were decent, and the garden landscaping was nice. We were traveling with a young baby, and they provided a bed rail. They also helped with luggage during check-in and check-out, which we were quite satisfied with. However, I can't help but complain about a few things: 1. The complimentary drink vouchers were useless. When I asked for red wine, they said it was out of stock. When I asked for sparkling water, they said it had already been given out. In the end, I could only choose canned Coke. The drink in picture 5 was purchased separately and tasted good. 2. The kids' play area was extremely dirty. Before taking my child in, I asked the staff if it had been disinfected. The staff said they used alcohol disinfectant. I then asked how often it was disinfected, and she said daily. Because my child is young and crawls, after playing for a while, their hands were black with a lot of fuzz and black specks. It was very dirty, and I immediately took my child to wash their hands. I suspect it hadn't been cleaned or was only cleaned very infrequently. The space itself was quite large, and the crawling socks were a reasonable 5 yuan a pair. 3. The bedding was unclean. I slept for two nights, and both nights I felt incredibly itchy all over my body. I scratched so much that I had broken skin in several places on my arms and legs. How can a five-star hotel have such unclean bedding? 4. The air conditioning was erratic. Sometimes, even set to 19 degrees, it wasn't effective, and my husband kept saying it was hot. But then sometimes it would suddenly get very cold. Because we had a baby sterilizer and a constant temperature kettle, the power was always on, so the AC was continuously running. I'm not sure if the hotel centrally controls the temperature, but overall, the AC had issues."

"The hotel has been renovated, and the rooms are great with smart voice assistant Xiao Du. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area. Plus, the hotel has a huge outdoor parking lot, and you can walk directly to the beach from there. They also have robot delivery for meals, which is very high-tech. The front desk staff were quick to check me in and responsive to all my requests. Compared to other hotels in the area, this one isn't expensive, and there are many convenient dining options nearby. You can also rent electric scooters right outside the entrance by scanning a QR code."

"The hotel's location is great, right by Shili Silver Beach. It's not too crowded here, and during the off-season, it's quite peaceful – perfect for a holiday. Zhapo is livelier with more food options, so it depends on personal preference, but I personally prefer quieter places. Also, the rooms are new and spacious, and you can park on the roadside without worrying about tickets. I didn't use the hotel's parking since it was a bit far. The smart room features are also practical."
