Our room was facing the ocean and the sound of the waves was soothing. You are near the wonderful Maritime museum and steps from the beach. Overall a great place to stay five stars. The beach was fine and soft, and the kids were happy every day digging sand and stepping on the sea water. There was a beach barbecue at night, no minimum consumption, and you could order a glass of water for 20 yuan and sit as long as you wanted. We stayed for three nights and went there every night. The receptionist arranged a room on the 24th floor, with a direct view of the sea – the unbeatable ocean view was breathtaking. The balcony was spacious, perfect for watching the sunrise in the morning and listening to the waves in the evening. The room was fully equipped, and there were restaurants downstairs offering seafood at great value. Shili Yintan Beach is right across from the reception, with fine sand and clear water. The only downside is that it gets crowded during holidays, but overall it's very good value and perfect for couples."
