"I strongly recommend everyone to choose this hotel when visiting Huangyao Ancient Town! The hotel was carefully built by a mother and daughter who rented a century-old house. The service is warm, and the pick-up and guidance and WeChat contacts are replied promptly. The environment is first-class. Even if you don’t go out, you can sit or walk around the hotel for a whole day. The carved wooden doors and windows, tea tables, chairs, calligraphy and paintings, all kinds of flowers in the back garden, green plants in flower pots in the patio, unique bougainvillea on both sides of the entrance, the lounge, and the coffee shop all show the taste and intentions of the mother and daughter! Listening to the mother (Sister Ge) calmly and enthusiastically telling us about the hardships and achievements of building the Imperial Edict House in the past 13 years, she said that if you think too much, you can't do it, just do it if you like it, and learn while doing it. She said that people can't be too idle and need to keep themselves busy to be in good condition... We like it very much and are educated... Sister Ge is a refined person with a good taste for life. She said her daughter has mysophobia and she is a perfectionist, so she can go around Guangdong and Jiangsu to find chairs for the room. She has a lot of gardening tools and she trims all the green plants by herself. The well-growing green plants fully reflect Sister Ge's positive and optimistic attitude towards life. "The hotel is located a little bit remote, about ten minutes' walk from the ancient town. The hotel decoration is very unique and has a sense of design, which I like. The waiter is enthusiastic and takes the initiative to help carry the luggage up the stairs and introduce the general situation of the ancient town. The morning is rich and exquisite."

"A superb experience staying at this hotel. We extended our stay after the first day, and would definitely come back again. Location wise, if you are visiting the old town, then it is definitely the perfect spot to stay! The scenic bridge is just a corner away. It is also just 1 min walk from one of the entrances/gates of the old town(景區). What I like the most is the whole design of the hotel. It is a perfect combination of ancient and modern architecture and design. The whole place is very stylish and there are a lot of fine details like the plants and artwork arrangement. I love the tea table right at the main door, it’s made by stone and wood. There are a lot of common area in which you can either chat and enjoy tea with friends or simply read alone with a nice coffee. They have a nice rooftop with a good view of the old town. You can enjoy sunset here. Food is perfect here. They have their own chef so you don’t need to eat out, the tofu and soup are very nice, and the seasonal veg is also our pick. Most importantly it is a pets friendly place. They have 2 dogs named 向右 “Xiang you” and 將軍 “General”, they are friendly and cute. They also have a cat room accommodating over 10 cats. All are friendly and lovely. Perfect place for vacation. We look forward to our next time here at 龙麟台❤️"

"Visited during the Chinese New Year holiday. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and even offered warm ginger tea, which made me feel right at home. The location couldn't be better – super convenient for parking and directly opposite the entrance to the scenic area. "When I came to Huangyao, the happiness was given by the inn. I was lucky to book the last room of this inn during the Spring Festival. The room went in to give me a quiet experience, I really want time to be still. I really like the floor-to-ceiling windows of the room, and the roof, simple. There is also a small balcony next to it, you can see the beautiful lake and fireworks. Next time I come, I have to live here. It is very close to the Solitaire, very convenient, and the inn has two doors before and after, which is very pleasant."

"This charming, ancient house turned family-run hotel is nestled within the historic city walls (note that even as a hotel guest, you’ll need to purchase an entrance ticket to access the city). Beautifully decorated, it exudes authentic charm, but it feels more like a homestay than a hotel, with its pros and cons. The warm landlady’s hospitality and generosity were slightly hindered by the language barrier (as we regrettably don’t speak Chinese). However, her helpful daughter bridged the gap via WeChat, providing tips, arranging transportation, and ensuring a smooth stay. All in all, it’s an excellent choice for travelers seeking a personal touch and a culturally immersive experience."

"The sanitation is good, but the mosquitoes are a little big and a little many, probably because there are mountains, water and plants in front of the homestay.
