"We had a great time! As other people have said in their reviews, the breakfast was excellent. The view was great, and we had a delicious meal while watching the sun rise over the Tuscan hills. The staff were all friendly and smiling, so we had a pleasant stay. You can walk to Piazza del Campo, but it takes about 20 minutes, so it feels a little far. In terms of facilities, it would be nice if there was a refrigerator and a kettle. The large bathtub was also very nice. Still, I wanted to stay another night, and it's a place I'd like to stay at again."

"The location is not far from Piazza del Campo, it can be reached in 10 minutes by bus. I stayed for one night and it was clean and tidy. If you don't have dinner at the restaurant, there is a place nearby that makes very good pizza. It would only be better if there were slippers in the room."

"Fantastic stay in Hotel Athena in Siena! They are one of the few hotels that offer free parking within the city walls and outside of the ZTL zone. About 10 mins walk into main town. Definitely took away the headache of the need to look for parking. Also a great base to explore the beautiful Tuscan countryside. Their included buffet breakfast offers a comprehensive spread, tho we wishes that they would change the spread daily! But that's a small issue. They also have a terrace on the 7th floor that looks out to the Tuscan countryside. Wonderful views - check out the attached photo! Overall we definitely recommend this hotel and will be happy to stay here again if we visit again!"

"The location is great, the historical center is nearby. I liked the room in general, it is clean, the bathroom is big, but the mattress was clearly missing some part, you could feel all the springs. Good breakfast. If you are traveling by car, keep in mind that the hotel is located outside the ZTL zone, and therefore you will not be given a pass, choose your route carefully."

"entrance to the hotel is not clear, the parking space is not paved (it was raining and due that our suitcases and shoes have been totally dirty) room was good and big. shower was not cleaned neatly. the pool is okay the breakfast is like the other comments say. it’s in the cellar, you don’t feel welcome there and it’s not comfy, coffee was good"

"The second time I came to Siena, I highly recommend living in the ancient city. The scenery is so beautiful. It takes a few minutes to walk to the shell square. If I come next time, I still live here. There is a taxi on the right hand side from Siena Railway Station. It is very convenient to take a taxi to the hotel. When I leave, the boss helped to call a taxi. The hotel can provide parking spaces! Breakfast is not bad, the view outside the room is a postcard."
