Later, she even helped us contact a local aurora hunter, also a Russian woman, much more reliable than the so-called ”Chinese people don't lie” guy we found the day before! We were also lucky enough to witness a major aurora event. Even when it was getting cold and we were getting back in the car to warm up, the dedicated hunter was still outside watching for the aurora, worried we might miss the even more beautiful moment after the changes. Meeting them really made us incredibly lucky. The hotel entrance is on a small hill and a little hard to find, but the rooms are clean and cozy, so feel free to stay there. Unfortunately, she was resting when we checked out, so we missed taking a group photo. Even two weeks after returning, she still teared up when she thought of the warmest experience in the snow town abroad.
