Kaifeng Gulou District Hotels

I had a very pleasant stay. The room was clean and it was great value for money. The service was warm and attentive. I'd definitely come back if I have the chance.

The hotel's location is great, right next to Gulou Night Market, and from the floor-to-ceiling windows in the room, you can see Daxiangguo Temple. It's also not far from Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden, about 2-3 kilometers, and a taxi ride costs less than 10 RMB. The room is exceptionally spacious and very clean, with complete facilities including a smart toilet, Tmall Genie (smart speaker), massage chair, bathtub, and a large projector. The hotel even provides bathtub liners, bubble bath liquid, foot soaking tubs, and heated eye masks. After a tiring day of sightseeing, you can come back to the room, get a massage, take a bath, or soak your feet to relax. During the day, the lobby offers watermelon and small snacks, and in the evening, there are cocktails and late-night supper. The service is very warm and welcoming; whether it's the front desk staff or the cleaning aunties, everyone is always smiling and ready to help. I'm very satisfied with this trip!

Extremely satisfied! Great value for money. It's right by the Bell Tower Plaza, and you step out directly into the night market. Xiangguo Temple and Shanxi-Shaanxi-Gansu Guild Hall are within walking distance, and there are tons of restaurants nearby. Super convenient! The room is newly renovated, very clean and tidy, and the smart control system is really handy. The staff are also very friendly and helpful.

This hotel is in a very convenient location, right next to the famous 'First Building' restaurant. It's also just a seven to eight-minute walk to the Gulou Night Market. The hotel even upgraded me to a family room... which unexpectedly came with one large bed and one standard bed, both with Mickey Mouse bedding. The room was quite clean, but the lighting was really dim. It was hard to even apply foundation properly, I couldn't tell where I'd missed a spot. The bathroom door was also awkwardly placed; when open, it blocked the sink. 🤣 Surprisingly, the hotel also offers a late-night snack service with beer. The front desk area was quite lively at night with guests going to get mini wontons. However, you can only redeem them after 10 PM, and the front desk seemed understaffed, so it was a bit chaotic during redemption. Breakfast is on the 6th floor. It had all the usual offerings, including noodles and mini wontons, but the taste was just average, and the milk wasn't very good. The front desk on the seventh floor also provides traditional costumes for guests to borrow and take photos. Upon checkout, I even received a souvenir. Overall, it was decent. The main reason I chose it was for the convenience on my last day; I planned to visit an attraction in the morning, then eat at the 'First Building' restaurant, and it was handy to pick up my luggage right next door afterwards.

The classical garden design offers a new view with every step, creating a wonderful atmosphere. It was my first time staying here, and the staff proactively escorted me to my room, otherwise, it would have been quite difficult to find on my own. The room facilities are relatively good and it's very quiet, with decent soundproofing. The hotel breakfast is mainly Chinese, with noodles, wontons, and also bread, salad, stir-fries, and fried noodles. It's quite filling.

My stay at the Kaifeng Meilun Hotel was absolutely fantastic, deserving a perfect score! The hotel is newly opened, and the overall decor is incredibly modern and sophisticated, with a simple yet elegant style that's clean and welcoming. The lobby exudes quality, and the overall environment is tidy, quiet, and very comfortable. What impressed me most was the front desk service. The staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and patient. I arrived early and expected a long wait, but the front desk assisted me with early check-in – truly thoughtful. I was so satisfied with my first night that I wanted to extend my stay, but the platform showed it was fully booked. I was even considering changing hotels, but the front desk staff were incredibly considerate and proactively helped me coordinate, managing to squeeze in a room. It was truly heartwarming, and I experienced exceptional service. The room facilities were also excellent, all brand new, clean, and odor-free. The bedding was soft and comfortable, the room was spacious and bright, and the wet and dry areas were well-separated. The attention to hygiene was impeccable, making for a safe and comfortable stay. Moreover, the hotel boasts an exceptionally convenient location with excellent surrounding amenities. Getting around, dining, and shopping are all incredibly easy; it's close to everywhere you need to go – the location is truly unbeatable. There was even a delightful surprise at check-out: the hotel thoughtfully prepared a complimentary gift bag – the attention to detail was impeccable! The entire stay was flawless; the environment, facilities, and service were all top-notch. The staff were genuinely kind and attentive, exceeding my expectations. I highly recommend the Meilun Hotel to anyone visiting Kaifeng. It offers exceptional value for money, heartwarming service, and a superior environment.

This hotel in Kaifeng boasts a beautiful Chinese-style decor, with spacious rooms and a delicious breakfast. The breakfast area, along with the self-service washer and dryer, are conveniently located on the third floor. Its proximity to major attractions like Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden, the museum, and Bao Zheng Temple makes it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. Plus, there are plenty of dining options around Gulou. I highly recommend staying at this hotel when visiting Kaifeng.

The room is large, the bedding is clean, the mattress pillows are very comfortable, and the parking is convenient! The front desk lady is gentle and professional! Room service is polite, and every time I meet it, I will smile and say hello! It is also convenient to take a taxi to the surrounding scenic spots and have the opportunity to come back to live here again!

Choosing Kaifeng Time Boiling Rain B&B was one of the best decisions during my trip to Kaifeng. Traveling with family, we were looking for a hotel with large twin beds, and we found this one that actually had two 1.8-meter beds! It's perfect for families with two children. We opted for the 1.8m and 1.3m family suite, which came with a living room and was quite spacious. The massage chair was brand new and very comfortable. The hotel service was excellent; the front desk staff proactively introduced local attractions during check-in, recommended places to eat, and even provided a tourist map. They also have a laundry room with a dryer, which is very convenient. For just over 200 during the off-season, it was an incredible value. It's also very close to Kaifeng Mansion, just a few hundred meters away. We managed to rush with our two kids and even caught the opening ceremony!
