Hotels in Leshan Giant Buddha, Leshan

Our trip was incredibly satisfying, and the hotel played a huge part in that. The service was absolutely outstanding; they helped us find parking, brought breakfast right to our room, and enthusiastically shared their top recommendations for local food. The location is also fantastic – just a short walk downstairs and you're surrounded by all sorts of popular eateries! We'll definitely be staying here again on our next visit to Leshan.

The room featured two double beds, comfortably accommodating four people. We stayed with our two children, and they absolutely loved it! The separate vanity area and toilet/shower room were a fantastic feature, really helping to prevent congestion, especially when traveling with family. You could tell all the decor items were carefully selected and displayed a strong sense of design; even the hangers were stylish. Cleanliness was overall good. However, there was a slight sewer smell at night, and I'd recommend the hotel management investigate and address this issue. As expected from a designer hotel, the aesthetics were excellent. The furnishings in the indoor public areas were beautiful, but some lights weren't on, which slightly diminished the visual impact. Another minor point: we took the elevator directly to the second floor, where the front desk seemed rather makeshift. It wasn't until we later visited the first floor and saw the main reception that we realized the second-floor desk was just a temporary setup. On the plus side, the main entrance opens right onto 'Haochi Street' (Food Street), making dining incredibly convenient. The service was decent. They proactively contacted us in advance with parking instructions, which was very helpful. They also thoughtfully provided extra toiletries based on the number of guests, which we found to be a very considerate touch.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, right by the Min River and directly opposite the Leshan Giant Buddha. A leisurely stroll along the riverbank from the hotel allows you to experience the everyday life of Leshan locals. Within a short walk, you'll discover countless local eateries and snack stalls – it's a foodie's paradise where you can constantly munch as you explore! Despite being riverside and across the road, it's surprisingly quiet in the evenings and early mornings. Before I knew it, I fell in love with this charming small city in Sichuan. If there's a slight downside, it's that the hotel seems better suited for couples. Traveling with my extended family, the older members found the room a bit sparse on amenities like stools, tables, and storage for their belongings. My partner, needing to work on a laptop in the evening, even had to stand as there was no proper desk or workspace. Breakfast doesn't start until 8 AM, which is quite inconvenient for early risers looking to fuel up before a day of sightseeing. However, the set menu breakfast was a rather novel and unique experience!

The transportation is convenient. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the Leshan Giant Buddha Visitor Center. It is next to the river and you can also take a walk by the river at night. There is a bus stop about 5 minutes’ walk from the hotel entrance, which takes you to Suji Ancient Town, Zhanggongqiao Snack Street, Xiaowuli and other attractions. The breakfast is delicious, with local Bobo chicken, wontons, beef noodles, etc. to choose from, and the coffee is also good. All in all, I would probably stay here again when I come to Leshan.

What a beautiful gem in the mountains. We stayed in the family themed room and it was lovely. Close to the sightseeing sites (The giant Buddha and Temples) and good Leshan restaurants. The receptionist was very helpful and made an effort to make our stay pleasantful. The hotel has an on-site restaurant and the breakfast was lovely. The cafe served ok-coffee and tea all locations are high up in the mountain so you can see a nice view. There is also a nice hiking trail on the property and the sights from the top are amazing. Great for families more amazing for couples.

Our family came to Leshan for tourism. After visiting the Leshan Museum in the afternoon, we came to this inn built on the mountain and surrounded by flowers. The environment is very good. The landlady and my mother both like to maintain and enjoy the tranquility and beauty brought by the garden. It is suitable for taking photos while traveling. There are tables and chairs in the yard. It is a good choice to sit and chat with friends. The overall privacy is good. Each room on the first floor basically has an independent small yard. There is a canopy where you can sit in the small yard to drink tea and chat. The rooms on the second floor have a small balcony. The environment is very good. Our family bought a package for the night tour of Lingyun Mountain and the Oriental Buddha Capital. The location of this homestay is very close to the Leshan Museum and the Leshan Giant Buddha Visitor Center. It can be reached in ten minutes on foot, which is very convenient! Their service is also very good. I also like the overall decoration setting of the room we stayed in. The landlady said that she might have to redecorate the room before the summer vacation. Finally... I hope to see the cute and smart mango (golden retriever) next time ❤️

The room is very clean, well-equipped, and the service is thoughtful. The hotel front desk is very considerate and gave us a lot of advice on this trip. We patiently answered any questions we had. The hotel cleaning staff is also very responsible. They come to clean and replenish supplies every day, and the service is very thoughtful. The hotel is conveniently located, close to Zhanggong Bridge and Shangzhongshun, and you can walk along the river at a leisurely pace. There is also unlimited coffee, drinks, and snacks in the hotel lobby. In short, this is a very good accommodation experience, and it is worth the trip! I also wish the hotel a prosperous business!

We are travelling from Canada! This is one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve stayed in! It is right in the heart of Leshan Buddha tourist area. The ticket office is just a short walk away. The hotel is finsihed with modern yet rustic touches! The details are so stunning, the beds were comfortable and the whole place was spotless! The breakfast buffet included in the stay was very delicious with a lot of options and an espresso machine. All of the staff was so friendly and helpful! Xiaoting was available on WeChat for the questions we had! There is also a Luckin right outside the doors! I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The hotel is really well located. right by the river and within walking distance of the entrance to The Giant Buddha. The room is ok, quite large with a view of the river, but everything is a bit worn. The staff is not very welcoming and it is a shame because it would have made the experience much better.

The surrounding environment is very good and very quiet. It is only about 1 km away from the Big Buddha Scenic Area. It is located at the location of the Eight Immortals Cave, on the roadside, and is easy to find. The rooms are very good, all with balconies. Because of other reasons, the owner upgraded us. The facilities are very good. The owner is also very nice. He recommended us delicious charcoal barbecue. Many locals go there to eat. The beef is delicious. Parking is very convenient. My boyfriend likes this place very much. He said that we will stay here next time we come to Leshan. He is very satisfied.
