Great hotel. Well located and close to the main areas of Manchester such as northern quarter, Picadilly, canal street, Deans street etc. the train street is 7 mins walk and the road there is good to wheel suitcases

Stayed here with my daughter for the Olivia Rodrigo concert. Usually stay in a Premier Inn but this was so much better. Only downside was a squeaky sliding door on the bathroom and someone running in the corridor at 2am. Overall, a lovely quirky hotel and would stay again đ

When confirming the order, there was only âpayment made in the hotelâ The charge when doing check in was higher than the amount shown in the app. It took time to do check in and feeling was not very good. Buffet Breakfast was good. You can order some choices when it was not available in the hot plates. Yummyđ

Overall the stay was good. However, the service fell below our expectations. The toilets had ran out of shower gel and despite requesting for a refill, there was no action at all even after checking out. The breakfast wasnât that enjoyable as well, but for the price we paid, we wouldnât have expected any better.

The hotel is conveniently located near the bus station, convenience stores, and restaurants. A water kettle is provided, and I found the mattress quite comfortable. Since itâs close to the train tracks, you might occasionally hear trains passing by. Staffs are friendly as well. Overall, Iâd rate it 5/5.

My stay at this hotel in Manchester was fantastic! The location is incredibly convenient, just a short 6-minute walk from Piccadilly Station, making it perfect for travelers. The room was new, spacious, and provided a very comfortable experience. While the breakfast selection wasnât overly extensive, the quality of the food was absolutely top-notchâdelicious and satisfying. I would definitely recommend this hotel for its excellent location and comfort.

Sleek design, towels and sheets are clean, shower water pressure strong. However, room is smaller and city view is facing an office building compared to images shown on app.

My recent stay at the Maldon Hotel in Manchester was just okay.
**Room & Amenities:** Clean room with basic amenities like a TV and free Wi-Fi, but the decor was dated, and there were no extra features like a safe or coffee maker.
**Service:** Friendly staff, but inconsistent housekeeping. Some days, the room was cleaned well; other days, towels and toiletries were not replenished.
**Food & Dining:** The restaurant offered limited, average-quality options. The breakfast was particularly underwhelming, and service was slow.
**Facilities:** Functional but unimpressive. The fitness center had some out-of-order equipment, and the pool area was small with limited seating.
**Location:** Conveniently located near attractions and public transportation, with several restaurants and shops within walking distance.
**Overall:** An adequate stay with room for improvement. The hotel needs to update its amenities and provide more consistent service.

Excellent large space similar to an apartment. Fascinated with the number of rooms and how much amenities there was available and good quality cosmetics from The White Conpany. Only negative was that walls are a bit thin, as well as their being stairs down to reception and the shower drain does not flow as easily so water does build up.

We faced an issue with our room when we arrived which was dealt with efficiently and we were placed in an upgraded room as an apology. The room was spotless and well presented, however the king size bed was simply two single mattresses pushed together. The mattresses werenât level so it wasnât the most comfortable night sleep for a couple. The location is ideal for a stay in Manchester City Centre and the new check in/check out keyless entry is really good.

GGuest UserHotel is excellent room and views are lovely. Location is excellent and majority of staff were nice. Only a few issues they give and charge you for doubles in the bar when the menu only gives single prices. The response from the barmaid was you never specified a single when that should be as standard. Also take 50 pound a night for cover in case you spend in the hotel but only refunded 97.60 for the 2 nights. Although we didnât spend anything on the room. The hotel is super but just those 2 things took the shine of a really great stay.

NNayomithedivaLoved my stay at this Hotel. It was my third time staying at this hotel. The aesthetics of the Hotel are really nice. The spaces in the hotel are modern with a touch of luxury. The front desk ladies that I met during my stay were welcoming, friendly and had good vibes.Nothing beats a warm welcome.
Check in was quick and easy and very professional. I forgot the name of the lady that checked us in but she was fabulous. We checked in on September 4th 2024 between 12:20-12:50 so the lady that was sat on the right side of the main desk at that time did really well n checking us in.
The breakfast was okay , but it kinda left me wanting more in terms of selection. Maybe beef sausages or even chicken sausages could be added???
But it was still good nevertheless.
The location of the hotel is also pretty good as you are able to go to access many restaurants⌠and shopping points.
Distance from the Machester Piccadilly Train station from this hotel is super convenient as well.
Would totally recommend this hotelđđđ

1105172****This is a grand and historic hotel, and I had a very comfortable stay. Its location is fantastic, right in the city center and just a short walk from Manchester's Chinatown. My only complaints are the unclear smoking signs near the entrance and the tiny ashtrays provided. There was also no doorman to offer assistance or reminders. This could easily lead to fines (as enforcement seemed rather discreet), which unfortunately cast a shadow of frustration and disappointment over my trip.

AAnonymous UserGood location for seeing Manchester City centre. Things to note for those who plan to drive: itâs ÂŁ20 daily to park. To check-in early even if the room is available, you have to pay ÂŁ20. If itâs raining, you have to rent an umbrella for ÂŁ2 for 48 hours.
I like that they donât have plastic water bottles but they offer a jug that you can fill up with filtered water.

CCryptoTechiesI stayed the day before and booked an extra night but had to move room which was very smooth move. Firstly the was a poo stain on the toilet lid when I checked in and then later when I took a bath it was that hot that I burnt the bottom layer of my foot from the water. There is no way it should be running that hot. Then once I managed to cool my foot down and the bath. I burnt 2 of my toes just from touch the side of the taps. A very different experience from my first night stay and you can see from my review

YYidingyaoquyiselieThe room's location is excellent. Though not large, it was very clean. Prices are reasonable during the week, but significantly higher on weekends. It's very close to the city center and incredibly convenient for getting to Old Trafford, Manchester United's home stadium. There's a small canal right next to it; you can walk along its path for about 4 kilometers to reach the stadium.

BBen BristowI stayed at the Ibis on Portland Street in central Manchester (not to be confused with the Ibis Styles further down the road). The staff were friendly and allowed me to check in early, which was a nice touch. Although I didn't spend much time in the room as I was out exploring, it was a good place to rest. The room was clean, with tea and coffee provided, and the shower had excellent water pressure and stayed hot. The Wi-Fi worked well, though the air conditioning had analogue controls, which felt outdated and a bit unclear to use. Breakfast was included in the stay, but I didnât have the chance to try it as favoured my beauty sleep. There was some noise from footsteps in the corridor and the room above, but overall, it was a decent stay. The room was quite similar to the one I stayed at in London Greenwich.

GGuest UserI booked this hotel as it had a bath. The plug didnât fit the whole so I couldnât relax and have a bath.
It was on a main road where a new tram stop is under construction. Post midnight there was workmen continuous drilling.
I found chewing gum under the bedside shelf.
There was single glazing, the fitted moving window to block our noise was broken and wouldnât close as my photo shows.
