"One of the highest value airport hotels in Calgary if you don't need breakfast. Far from the airport but the shuttle service was free and on time and the hotel is relatively close to the city center. My room had a very comfortable bed and some of the better towels I've had at a hotel. The mini-bar with a fridge and microwave was also nice."

"Great value for a short term stay near the YYC, with turn off from major road BarlowTrail NE. The front entrance is a bit confusing if approaching from the rear industrial area. Staff were friendly and professional, usual hotel damage deposit and person staying in expectation. The room was very spacious and clean, although a bit dated. AC was a bit louder than expected, but was able to sleep through. I didn't have time to use the amenities (pool and gym)."

"All was fine except that on this visit there was no wifi that made it difficult to check in for our flight or receive updates about the status of our flight. As a British person we would have preferred milk to be available for out tea not cream"

"The room was clean, comfortable bed and good coffee. However the shuttle only runs once every hour which was strange for a hotel only a 10 minute drive from the airport and not convenient for some flight times. There was no complimentary coffee in the lobby. Breakfast was included but you had to order off of the menu. There was no quick buffet and we didn’t have time to sit down and wait to be served. When we said okay, can we just get a coffee to go we were told it was 3.00. And most importantly, you could hear air traffic throughout the night."

"My experience at Amenida was wonderful. Check-in was smooth, the staff were professional and kind, and the room was tidy and cozy. I appreciated the free parking and Wi-Fi, which made my stay hassle-free. The hotel is also close to downtown and the C-Train, which was very convenient. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an affordable and comfortable stay in Calgary.”"

"My husband, son & I stayed here for one night. The location is great. It’s near to restaurants, the city and airport. The hotel is pretty clean and so was our room and bathroom. We enjoyed our stay. The water park, swimming pool and hot tub was a great amenity which my 7 year old enjoyed a lot. We didn’t have problems with parking either. For security the elevator also operates with your room key card. I would recommend this place. However, the room didn’t have a microwave and breakfast isn’t included."

"The stay here at Wyndham Gate was fantastic. One of the best short stays me and my wife have been to. We only stayed one night after the flight there as it was late, but for the price the place was luxurious. Will definitely recommend this airport stay to everyone 👍🏻"

"Not our first time staying here -but we left with a sense of frustration today! It began when the front desk couldn’t find our reservation - twice ! (despite a phone call 2 hours prior to check in). Had to take my driver’s licence and go “somewhere to talk to someone in the back” - then he came back (after 2 or so  minutes) and “magically” the reservation had been found. Unnerving for my identification to disappear from my sight. No explanation offered. Frustrated again at check out when the desk clerk tried to charge us for something from the snack bar in our room - we had literally left our room 2 minutes before. Couldn’t tell us what item we had “consumed” (we hadn’t consumed anything - especially at those prices!) and then when asked how they could possibly know within 2 minutes (of us leaving our room) that an item had been consumed - they became very defensive and couldn’t actually answer the question of “how do you know what to charge us for” and the response was “it’s for the report at the end of the day - no one is saying you actually took anything”. Except that’s exactly what the desk clerk said the charge was going to be for - “an item from the snack bar for a total of $4.20”. After challenging the charge we were told that no charge would be put through on the credit card. Made to feel like we had “stolen” something when we asked for further clarification on the charge. “No apologies or thank you for staying with us”. Disappointing. Side note - Service in the casino was great - including the restaurant."
