"The hotel is newly opened, so everything is still very new, and the surrounding natural environment is fantastic. However, the human environment inside and outside the hotel is terrible. There's no staff member at the restaurant entrance to maintain order, and rude guests park their cars right in front of the entrance all day long – it's just unacceptable. The lobby inside is incredibly noisy, even more chaotic than a marketplace; it feels like a free-for-all with people shouting. The breakfast spread is good, but it turns into a scramble. Even after the initial rush, there's still plenty of food, but then another wave of hungry guests comes to grab more. The visible staff members at the hotel are all very kind, but some guests are just like rude monsters, making the experience unpleasant."

"As a guest, I am speechless when seeing an international hotel set such a standard. The facilities are outdated, there is a strange smell in the corridor of the guest room, and the room is not equipped with disposable slippers, which were only delivered after calling the front desk. I saw a cockroach in the bathroom. It's strange to see this creature in a star-rated hotel. Went to a Chinese restaurant and ordered two bowls of noodles and waited 45 minutes for them to be served. Only the breakfast was ok. Not recommended."

"The family suite is spacious, clean and has relatively new facilities. The front desk clerk was gentle and proactively reminded me to scan the QR code to register for free parking when leaving the store. It's just that the family suite facing the main road was too noisy, so I had to turn on the small music to resist the noise. The front desk also prepared earplugs. Also, the water in the shower is slow and needs to be unclogged. The overall feeling of the hotel is good."

AAnnieWe went in mid June, rainy season so it was low season. For the price that we paid for the 2 bedroom villa, which included breakfast (at another hotel) entry to ocean park, The Five Country Hot Spring City, and personal shuttle bus service within the island. I think it was well worth it. Service was prompt and courteous, although communication was all through WeChat and in Chinese. Convenient but knowing sone Chinese would be better to utilize services . We stayed in the Japanese style villa, and it was tastefully decorated, spacious and comfortable. We especially loved having our own dry and steam sauna, and our own personal outdoor hot spring bath! Real hot spring mineral water! I recommend this place especially for people who love hot spring baths and want to avoid busy touristy hotels.
Cleanliness: overall quite clean.
Location: walking distance to ocean park and hot spring city, so quite convenient. 5-10 minutes shuttle ride to most places within the island.
Service: knowing someone is available 24 hours was nice. They were eager to help with whatever we needed. The main concierge during the day was more friendly, competent and experienced.
Amenities: everything we needed was provided. There was a Dyson hair dryer, fridge etc. If you are picky about your shampoo soaps etc, you may want to bring your own. But they do provide them.

MMauveMHad a wonderful stay here at Forest Inn, Hainan University! My cousin is starting university nearby and we came to drop her off. Since we had stayed in the downtown before, we wanted to find a place close to campus to experience. This hotel is the best option! It’s right within the campus entrance and easy to navigate to. The front desk concierge’s were very friendly and kind - two of them even took us around on the tour bus to familiarize us with the campus and surrounding area. They even went out of their way and offered to help us unload luggage. Since there was no parking space on move-in day, having the option to drop off saved us a lot of hassle. In addition to campus, the hotel is also located close to a botanical garden, about 15 minutes to the downtown area, and close to shops, stores, etc.
Some suggestions:
- Wish the pool was accessible as advertised on Trip but it’s now only a kiddie pool.
- For longer stays, room amenities should be replenished daily based on number of guests.
- I received a rather expensive delivery during my stay and asked the courier to leave it with the front desk as I was out during that time. There was someone at the front desk with a poor attitude who denied that any deliveries arrived and suggested it had been delivered to another location. Luckily, another staff member helped me check and found my delivery. I suggest besides giving guests misleading information, to ensure it’s accurate first.

We arrived by electric car, and there was a charging station just 50 meters from the guesthouse, which was very convenient. Highly recommended.

GGuest Userthis was an amazing island for relaxation. many north easterners come here over the winter period, hence a lot of north east cuisine available even till late night. sea views are also great as our block was nearest to the shoreline. toilet is slightly small but is ok. the island shuttle bus does not arrive, best to pay the locals for a quick shuttle.

AARC5555The stay at the Danzhou Seaview Baili Hotel was very pleasant. The check in was convenient and all staff very friendly. The room had a quite modern appearance , was decently equipped and was quite big. Sadly we didnt get a sea/ port sided room, otherwise the view would probably have also been great.
The roomservice came every day between 8 and 9 for cleaning and reequipping the room. My only wish would be that when they knock the door twice, they actually wait a little longer for a response. They always entered very quickly and didnt give me enough time to even reach the door and open.
The breakfast selection is probably the only thing that was a little disappointing. Not that many choices and only some minor changes every day. Especially the limited fruit selection is a bit sad, given the availability on Hainan. But for the pricepoint of the hotel I dont want to complain much. The food was alright and will definitely get you full. Around the hotel are many shops, restaurants and streetvendors that provide decent choices for dinner.
Now to the big plus point, the free of charge clothes washing service (basic washing and drying). Quick and efficient, and you always have fresh clothes given the hot climate. Lastly the hotel also offers a free afternoon tea and snack service at the top floor. Again the choices are very limited, but it is still a nice thing to have.

Geographical location and surrounding environment
The hotel is located about 6 kilometers away from Baimajing Station. When I checked in on March 26, the ground nearby was still under construction and there was a lot of dust. There are many night markets around, which is very convenient for late night snacks. The window opens into a kindergarten. I got up early and was not affected by the noise. Although it is very close to a large supermarket, it closes at half past nine. There is a Lemart nearby where you can buy snacks and drinks at affordable prices.
Facilities and services
The hotel facilities are good, but the mosquito repellent equipment in the guest rooms is ineffective. I was woken up by mosquito bites at three o'clock in the night. When I used the mosquito repellent equipment, I couldn't find new mosquito coils. There was no landline in the room and I couldn't contact the front desk. I was not in the mood to go downstairs and was too lazy to find contact information on Ctrip. I endured the bites and buzzing all night.
Rooms and Decor
In my subjective opinion, the guest rooms at Pullman Danzhou Ritz are larger in size. They feature high-quality bedding, high-quality pillows and linens. The huge living room TV was a pleasant surprise. The room design is modern and comfortable, and the decoration in the room is elegant, creating a warm and luxurious accommodation experience.
Cost-effectiveness
Generally speaking, Pullman Ritz Danzhou needs to strengthen its management of the details of guest room facilities. The bedding is of high quality and the front desk staff has attentive service. The facilities and services provided by the house price make it cost-effective. For travelers who have requirements for bedding, this hotel is undoubtedly a choice worth considering. Remember to ask for a few more mosquito repellent tablets when you stay during the season when there are many mosquitoes.

GGuest UserI have always been longing for Ocean Flower Island, so I just went there. The beautiful boss is very enthusiastic. I love you. She called us as soon as I made the reservation and helped us plan the transportation and precautions. It doesn't take too long to take a taxi from the high-speed rail station, and it is quite easy to find after getting off. The surrounding area is relatively mature business districts, and it is very convenient for eating and living. Hearing that we came here for the reputation of Ocean Flower Island, the boss specially upgraded us to a sea view room with a good view. At night, we stood on the balcony, blowing the sea breeze and drinking a little wine. It felt so comfortable. The room facilities are complete, comparable to a star-level apartment. Manual five-star praise!!!
